we'll possibly have a day-trip to other parts of the country.
we can also have it on thursday/monday, not to interfere with the meeting if you prefer it that way.
Anyway, these 3 days is only the basis of the meeting. You're all welcome for some more days before/after.
My vote goes for 11-13, 18-20 is secondary (Father's birthday), but the others are also suitable for me.
Akoss Poo is coming, that's sure. In the end of August, I'll have my exams, so the earlier the better. My votes on the weekend:
1 August 4-6
2 August 11-13
3 July 28-30
4 August 18-20

If the others are coming for more than 3 days, I'll come, too.
11-13th August is the best one for me (first week of August in Transsylvania, in the second part of the month I'll be at Lake Balaton).

I'm trying to get it clear... DJ, if and when we go by car, maybe KHR and/or me can take you with us, should be cheaper (and funnier). BUT there maybe very cheap flights to Budapest from Germany, too!

As for the majority AUG 11-13 is the best, I declare this as the date for the third World Stunts Meeting.

If you are able to stay for a longer time (you should, if you decide to have such a big journey), I'm planning more programs and happenings, of course the main attractions will be held on friday and the weekend, but lets say the meeting lasts from AUG10-14 (or 9-13 if you like that better)

What I don't is why you tend to take sides against CTG in the CTG vs Alain,renato issue as a Site admin.I remember quite a few remarks which go into that direction.
You stay out of the Arg-Alain issue though Alain is continuessly harassing me with low level garbage.(example in the Z59 thread)
He is in no way better as CTG and yet he never hears anything from you as the side admin....
I do not take sides as a site admin, but as a person part of the community.
Of course I'm only human, therefore not perfect, so I cant perfectly separate these two roles.
Why I took a side in the CTG case was because it disturbed me pretty much, as he already made a good pipsqueak go away from our community and I dont want to see that happen with anyone else.
As for Alain - you mentioned it: it's low level garbage. you shouldnt take it seriously. noone should. somehow I got used to his insults, and I can only laugh on them whoever it is aimed at.

I just had a skype call with JTK, it was great :)
He will come by plane on the 10th of August (thursday)
and KHR will also come by plane on the 11th (friday)
Unfortunately they will both fly back on sunday morning :(
We agreed that even though they would like to see Akoss's hometown and other parts of the country very much, it just wont fit into this small amount of time.
So I need mainly Akoss's confirmation and of course yours too.
My plan is to have the main meeting from AUG 10 THU - AUG 13 SUN in Budapest at our place.
And after this on most likely monday+tuesday we travel to Akoss to have a great Gulasch-party as a proper ending of the 3rd WSM.
(please note, that if you want to visit the Sziget festival, programes are from aug9-16, so it just covers nearly the whole meeting, you can select the artist you'd like to see and buy a daily ticket.)
So if Akoss confirmes that mon/tue 14/15) is good for him to hold the Gulasch party at them (it'd be great to let both dates stay open right now) you could all plan your arrival and departure times.
I recommend you to come by any low-cost airline, as many fly to Budapest and their prices are relatively cheap, around 80-140EUR there and back with all taxes and fees included. YOu save a lot of time (and probably money too) this way.
You should plan your arrival on THURSDAY (AUG10) or FRIDAY (AUG11), or if you have tons of free time, some days before.
If you want to stay only for the Budapest events buy your ticket backwards for SUNDAY (AUG13) or MONDAY (AUG14) Monday is usually cheaper.
If you want to visit Akoss and take part in our "famous wine producing areas in eastern Hungary :)" trip, order your ticket backwards for WEDNESDAY (AUG16) or even later of course if you don't want to leave me this soon. :)
So the whole event covers a week.
I urge you all to order your tickets as soon as possible, preferably before the end of march. As summer comes near prices can vary on a big scale.

I knew that the trip to Eastern Hungary isn't the main event of the meeting, so I'd confirm to have it after the weekend. I hope some people (Bonzai Joe, Thomas, Lise, Diesel Joe and those, who is living near to Hungary, or in Hungary) will stay for the Eastern trip, I'll try to do everything to provide you an unforgettable day! ;) But I'm also sad to see that KHR and JTK cannot come... :(

Id ont care how hard it is to prepare the food ;) Its rather the time consumed what is important. However stuffed cabbage is a good idea, but I'm afraid we dont have a bowl which is big enough for us.

Well if you mean stuffed pancakes Hortob?gyi art, those are stuffed with paprika chicken stew. I love them pretty much, they are good for a starter.
We could have them someday, but then as main meal we should eat something different, sure the meeting is in Hungary, but that doesnt mean we can only eat Hungarian foods.
For example I can prepare a damn spicy thai roasted chicken in my wok. Or chicken stew in honey-mustard-ginger souce. Or even bryndzove halusky :)

LOL, that's what I wanted to ask: how will you lodge this crowd? I remember we were in 8 and my sleeping bag was between the kitchen and the bathroom. (poor JTK he couldn't go to pee that morning... :-D )
we have a bit more place now as my mother has moved. That doesnt mean it'll be comfortable as in a hotel, but we'll fit in, if you all take care a bit and dont mess up the whole place :)
we'll have to pack away things in the morning and in the enevings too, thats all :)
If we run out of place: I can provide a room in Martos hostel - but it's not sure. It depends on the success of my PhD application. If I can continue my studies then I'll get the room cheaper for the summer. It means 2 or 3 places.

Zak: What about the computer stuff? How many computers can you provide for Stunts racing and internet connection?
2 computers in my room connected to one 19" colour LCD with a monitor-switch, one has non-emulated dos the other has linux
1 computer in my brother's room with color screen and emulated dos (winXP)
1 computer with 14" colour screen and native dos, currently resting in the balcony waiting for the meeting
1 oldie laptop with responsive colour LCD, non-emulated dos, and a pretty loud speaker :)
the server, not for racing, with linux and 1 b&w monitor :)
except the laptop they all have working home networking and internet shared. However I'd rather separate internet and stunts.
my plan, to keep things organized and to maintain some living space:
the main race will take place on my wooden stunts-box connected to the 19" LCD. This way the race can be easily watched from my bed (~5 spectators :)) If we are not seriously racing and JTK is not singing (Akoss will be allowed to sing only outside the building :) my primary linux box is gladly playing some great music for you, anytime :)
For training in the same room the laptop and the -currently in the balcony- computer+colour screen will be available on a separate desk. It's fun as this desk is located in front of a mirror so you can watch their face and hands while racing :) When the race gets serious (lol, never :)), we can bring the laptop into any other room, and so not interfere with the race. If someone would like to train while the others are sleeping I can suggest bringing the laptop to the kitchen or the toilet :)
A third desk in my room will be set up to hold the snacks and drinks. Preferably no food and definitely no drinks are welcome on the computer desks. Remember, some have to sleep in this room (like me) every day, lets not ruin it on the frst day.
for 24h internet my brother's computer will be available in the other room, and we'll have a ritual in the third room, when we put in the disks from the original stunts box into the amiga (though I opened the box the disks were never used!), and suffer with stunts 1.2 :) The live-race may include a round on the amiga too :)
As my room already sounds overcrowded with 3 computers, snacks and racing I'll try to solve things so the meals could take place in the third (my former) room. I fear it's not possible though. In this case we'll have to clean up my room and mainly the training desk, when we'll have chili beans and the other fabulous foods :)
i think this will be more than enough. Another thing. My network switch has one more open socket. If you bring a laptop AND an at least 5m long UTP cable it can also have internet anytime.

I would insist on the sound of the car - so really, music only when racing is not serious, please. I would like to hear the car's sound, the lack of it makes me 2-3 seconds slower, and the risk of crashing and sliding off will increase. Maybe I'm not the only one.
When I'm not racing, i will commute between the drinking room and outside the building. I really have to drink and then sing. :)
I would like to say something about the trip to my hometown:
In Kazincbarcika, everybody will be allowed to sing and drink as much as he or she would like. :D In our garden, please don't throw away cigarette ends, and vomit/shit/pee in the toilet or in an abandoned garden at least 20 metres away from ours (there are some :)).

About accomodation, I'll decrease the crowd a bit. I will hire a room for the whole summer in Martos hostel, so I can sleep here. One sleeping bag less. :)

1st, I was short with money. I managed to keep some money to come anyway since last 3 months but my oven burnt (electric problems, it almost made the whole kitchen burn) and I must use this money to replace it.
2nd : I must be at work the 14th of August because my boss will be on holydays. Soimeone must be there to get the job done...
I hope we could plan a chat meeting once during the World Stunts meeting as we did 2 years ago (last year, it was uneasy and we badly organized it, and CTG was left alone in chatroom).

Very few girls are drinking cherry liqueur....actually I only know myself :D I normally drink some kind of spirits with juice or soda (mostly rom and pineapplejuice right now)....Mmm :)
Here many many girls drink cherry liqueur. Especially with peach juice. Other girly drinks are expensive coctails, Bacardi Breezer. Not girly drinks which are stilll liked by the girls here are: vodka/orange, gin/tonic, wine/cola.
The less girly drink is obviously beer, especially Pilsner type of beers.
