...need some good music for X-Mas? The brand new Lackschaden-single "Jingle Bells" is out and this time you may also download the mp3 files: http://www.kalpen.de/lackschaden/jinglebells.htm 8)
wow, the yearly Lackshaden-album!
I've downloaded it and the first thing tomorrow will be to listen!
Well, as for reggae bells - shame on me I dislike reggae. Liked the chorus though ;)
Rock Bells rocks big time! My clear favourite!
But Jazzy bells is also close! The singer in rock bells is better ;)
Afro Bells: intheonehorseopensleigh :) reminds me of a famous Hungarian song where they just translated
Beatles' Yelllow Submarine to Hungarian and sang it on the original music. So:
"We all live in a yellow submarine" equals to: "Mindannyian egy s?rga tengerelattj?r?ban lakunk"
which perfectly fits the tune :)
where was I? oh yes! Afro Bells is also good. But now I'm going to listen to rock bells again :D
Thanx :)
I sang Rock Bells. And unfortunately my friend Felyx, who sang Jazzy Bells, had some severe breathing problems when we recorded 9 days ago... normally he shouldn't have sung at all (but he did, great, because I am not that good, actually).
No download of previous songs except the very 1st one ? Too bad.
Anyway, please sing the hilarious song "sad sad christmas" next year (D-A-D song) :
Quote from: D-A-DSon tomorrow it's christmas
Yeah, daddy it's such a thrill
I'll suppose we'll be watching TV
Yeah, and have a burger meal
'Cause mummy, she left us
She took the keys and let all the bills
She took the creditcards and the furs
And now we can't afford a tree
I said son, It's a sad sad christmas
Oh boy, it's a sad sad christmas...
Oh no, 'cause daddy, I love you anyway
And I don't care if she has gone away
And I love you twice as much on christmas day
Yeah, daddy, I love you anyway
Well, now we can't afford to celebrate The Lord
Daddy, what The Lord? He made mother take the Ford !
But who's gonna give you your goodnight kiss ?
And who's gonna clean up after this ?
Daddy, don't be blue
You know that I love you
Yeah but son, It's a sad sad christmas
I tell you boy, It's a sad sad christmas...
Oh no, 'cause daddy, I love you anyway
And I don't care if she has gone away
And I love you twice as much on christmas day
Yeah, daddy, I love you anyway
Hold my hand son
And daddy, I love you anyway
And I'm glad that you're here with me on christmas day
Thank you boy
And I don't care if she has gone away
Yeah, lets stick together
'Cause daddy, I love you twice as much today
Oh, you're a swell boy
And daddy, I love you anyway (repeat while sound is fading)
Words in
italic are the "child speak".
I've got this song only in tape, but I can try to make you a mp3 anyway if you don't know the music. ;)

Well, the problem withj downloadable songs always is the copyright... :-\ I do have a severe problem when the Rolling Stones find oiur cover of "Dead Flowers"! :o And Afroman, I think he (or his management) won't be happy, too. The other Jingle Bell versions are free to use, so there is no problem for us.
Next X-Mas songs? We have an idea already. But first we have to release our 2nd album next year. 8)

Is the 1st album available outside Germany ?
No! You can get none of our music anywhere (except at old napster's and e-donkey), because we don't sell our cds, we give them away. And from the "EP" there's no copy left. 8) And that's better for each ones ears and musical education. ;D
Do you know the farting Jingle Bells? ;D

That was so funny JTK! I had to laugh, especially at Reggae-bells. Lovely parody there. My favourite part being the deep voice saying: "All the way, all the way"
Good work! :)

Thanks! :) But I have to correct you: the voice says "All da we, all da we" ;) And about parody: yes, we tried to put as many stereotypes into the songs as possible (Felyx always said: "We need Reaggae sounds" and I kept asking him "What the hell is that?"). Oh yeah, it was great fun recording, too (especially the Rock Bells song, because I played all the rhythm guitars 4 times *ouch*) and we are happy about what came out after only 30 hours time. on one weekend. 8)
