A Stunts track, not a railway!
A superb challenge is waiting all Stunts drivers and their Melange! :)
Yes, next RH track is really involving and absorbing with a unique characteristic. Don?t you believe it? Well, what would you say about a multi-way challenge where the track switches from one way to two ways 5 times in about 80?, and where drivers will have to switch from a way to another after every fork road if they will want to reach their best? Only the best drivers will be able to choose the right moment to change the way? 8) Sure, you?ll drive a very manageable Stuns car on a Stunts track, not a locomotive on a railway? but sure a bit of water doesn?t make easy the switches! ;)
Track is available! Gentlemen, start your engines! ;)
Wow - a sweet lil' beast to challenge a very imaginative track design. Eager to try it...
Not tested yet, but name is well apropriated. Hopefully, the car has a perfect handling to allow all the needed switches.
As Senser would say :
"The wheels are set in motion and the job's getting done.
Time to make the switch"

I don't like it. Sorry, I'm very critical with Melange tracks since Argammon's Oligoways, as it was the perfect multiway track in my eyes. I think this one is a mediorce track with only a few possibilities, but still enjoyable for fanatics (I'm not in fanatic mood at the moment). The last two tracks of the season were better. But it's just my own opinion, I hope others will like it better.
Is it just me or for some weird bug one can't load a replay on the pause menu while racing X-Change?

I don't have that bug at all, I load and can continue my replay without any problem. But it seems Mark encountered this problem too (see SDR page news).
Technical problems resolved (thanks Krys ;)) and result have been published yet!
Very fast time by SuperBrian who conquers the first bonus point at stake racing very hard: really great! :) The more and more consistent danish driver preceds me for 0"50 and his teammate Krys TOFF (2"05). A bit distanced the fresh winner AbuRaf70, who seems find some problems to individuate the best path through the switches. But, as we know, we will find him very near to the others from the next checkpoint yet... ;)
2nd Checkpoint
A new leader at 2nd checkpoint, great activity by AbuRaf70 and SuperBrian, and outset by Chulk: the race enters in a interesting phase! :) I improved decidedly my time (-7,72%) and I conquered 1 bonus point leading the provisional classification and smashing 70" barrier. 8) But behind me SuperBrian lowers consistently his time (-4,31%) getting other 0,5 bonus point: really motivated the danish driver, 2nd with a little gap, only 2". :) Third provisional place catched by Chulk: outset quite strong with 1'13"20. And finally AbuRaf70 overtakes Krys TOFF (no improvement for the french driver, we will wait him at next checkpoint ;) ) improving 6 times his time: now he's 4th reducing remarkably his gap, with his usual tenacity! :) OK, again 7 days and we'll have a more clear idea about the potential of the drivers. And sure we'll know who will be able to catch the last bonus point at stake! ;)
Damn! I thought 1'13"20 would be enough to be at least 2nd by now. I think I'm missing a trick then...
Okay-okay... prepare for a great CTG attack tonight! ;D

Postponed attack, I'm too tired.
Don't worry. You have plenty of time until next sunday.
Not that much but I'll try. ;)
Very first 10 minutes RH test: 1:15.35. It seems like Mark's time is quite strong but 1:03-1:04 will be the winning time.
Second try: 1:08.25. I start to think that huge magic would be enough to go under 1 minute... :)

Huge magic ? Sure : Melange car is Alan Rotoi's creation, and it has Alan's magic carpet ability. Harder to reach than with NSX, but possible to reach.
3rd checkpoint
Only AbuRaf70 on the track for this checkpoint: good improvement and provisional podium for him! :) The argentinian driver lowers again his time reaching a good 1'12"40, and only for 0"90 he didn't succeed to take 0,5 bonus point. All other drivers have evidently decided not to take part at the race in this week so not to discovered his potential. Sure, they have sacrified the possibilities to get other bonus point but in this way they didn't provide any indication about the limit they are able to reach. So last week will be very exciting! ;) Sure more drivers are able to lower current limit (1'09"30) but who will win the race? Will Chulk mantain the lead in the championship? Or will I succeed to overtake him? And AbuRaf70, 3rd in general classification? Will he get another great performance giving us another big emotion? But we can sure expect high performances from others, beginning from Krys TOFF and CTG, who declared in the forum to have overtook yet current leading time... ::) :) Well, there are enough reasons to wait with tasted expectancy the finish! ;)

Errrr, CTG may have said it, but I didn't. :D
I just said that according to this car possibilities, it's possible to improve the leading time with the help of useful magic carpets. Am I able to be the one who'll do it ? We'll see... ::)
1:08.xx sent, I'll improve later.
I have realized today my final time at X-change and I?m very satisfied for my replay! :) It?s near to the time I thought possible after the 1st checkpoint, but in the middle of the race I had thought not to be able to approach it? Will it be my first victory at SDR? Difficult to say? ::) Anyway I would be content to stay on the podium? ;)
DAMN, EA F1 2002 is the enemy of Stunts. I killed my down cursor button with it, I can't brake... :(
Dosbox 0.65 has a very good key-remapper... ;)
DOS-Box sucks with RH racing...

DOS-Box sucks with RH racing...
I play Stunts only with DOSBox... RH race and NORH race... Pentium III, video-card integrated... ;)
I do that too and works perfectly. Otherwise I don't have sound. Besides DOSBox window looks better than full screen as game resolution is very low.
I use DOSBox only for noRH at SDR. But in windows mode too. In full screen I didn't found frame skip and cycles settings correct to make the game runs smoothly.
Finish!
And finally I succeeded to win in the unique active contest where I still had not won! 8) Sure an happy victory for me thanks to a very fast time in last week: 1'03"70! :) The podium is completed by two great protagonists: Chulk and CTG! Chulk (overtook in general classification by me ;)) raced very fast in firsts 2 sections but an original race choice in section 2 (he results the only driver to have choosen it ::)) didn't permit him to approach very fast the last part of the race, and so he left many precious centiseconds: + 1"20 only in section 3. CTG was 3rd (only 0"25 the gap) at 2nd intermediate, but a very strange race choice in section 3 (he didn't cut like all other drivers the hill just before the 3rd intermediate ???) lead him to lose some seconds and the speed necessary to make a fast final part. After the podiumers, we find AbuRaf70 and SuperBrian, with the argentinian ahead the danish for only 0"35: a challenge which seems a wink to their previous dazzling duels! ;) (Just a precisation: SuperBrian had sent another time before 3rd checkpoint (Spam folder, I didn't see it, sorry... :-[) but that time don't affect the present and the past classification). 6th is Krys TOFF who didn't improve his time realized in 1st week: we hope to see him very active, together all others, in next absorbing challenge which will start the 1st June: "Tetris"! Will you be able to play it...? :D ;)

I spent too much time racing noRH "Smart" track and also Kalpen track. So, I had no time remaining for X-Change improvement attempt... :-\

I can't believe you missed that trick! When I finnished my replay I was more afraid of you than Mark, though I thought I would be 3rd after all.
That happens when people are unmotivated... Strange but I don't feel any power and mood to take a revenge.
My biggest problem with SDR is the weekly update. My strategy is in connection with the times I see from other pipsqueaks. Sometimes I'm unable to de my best when other pipsqueak's leading time is mediorce, because I become satisfied with a confident but not ass-kicking lead. But when I see pipsqueaks leading by 10-20-30... etc seconds over others then I find out easily all the tricks.
Damn it! I've totally forgot that SDR tracks end on Sundays... :-\

BTW: remember WSC deadline (today...), you still have not "sent" your replay... :D ;)
Yep, I'm on it right now ;D
