Title: WSM 2008 - Location unknown
Post by: zaqrack on January 07, 2008, 10:32:28 PM
OK, let's start organizing in time, in order to have a meeting this year!

Today I have received my flight plan, so I know when will I be in China. I'll be here in Europe the whole August. And August is the best time to have a meeting, lets do it!

I'll host again, if there is no other option - but this time I'd rather like to travel. Anywhere within reach :) I'd like to meet the old pipsqueaks, the new pipsqueaks and the non-pipsqueaks as well. I might bring my fianc?e, and expand the meeting to a holiday with some traveling around.  Don't worry, she really knows how to B?FF :)

My recommendation:
August 15, friday, arrival day,
August 16-17, weekend, main meeting,
August 18-19, mon-tue, meeting for those with days off work :)
August 20, wed, departure day

Any possible hosts? Denmark, Germany, Italy? We're waiting... :)
Meeting shirts to be expected and delivered by me, of course to every participant (and the 2007 winners, as usual)

I still don't know my summer plans, but I believe those days should certainly be possible. And I'll come, of course!
About hosting: no clue yet if it's possible. But it would also be better to have it at a new place. Still, it's a possibility if my parents are away from the house. My place is way too small.

99.9% that I'm coming if it's in Europe.

If it's in Hungary: 90% that I will drop in at least for one day
60% that I will spend the whole period there

If it's abroad: 5% that I will come.

More hopeful chances for 2009, but this year I'm without a job and without help of parents (they divorced, my father started a new life, and he doesn't want to give me any money), and till this situation exists, I cannot afford spending much money. If it normalizes soon with a good job, I will definitely visit you abroad, too. Till 2009 I have a longer time to build up a normal life, therefore there's a greater chance to travel abroad.

If the meeting was successfully organized this year, I would miss you all so much - but life is so cruel, and Poo is not a millionaire.

I also prefer Denmark, Budapest is too boring (especially for those who live there for ages).

Okay, I will :)

But I think we should try to determine if we can gather a reasonable number of pipsqueaks. I think we should only have it if at least 6-8 people can come. And if I host it, at least Akoss can't be there...

By the way Akoss, if you host it, you won't have to travel at all ;)

Dinmor: unsure. He lives in Copenhagen now, but there's a chance he will be in ?rhus for the summer.
Lise: unpredictable.

But what about Mark L. Rivers, Krys TOFF, Usrin, Argammon, SuperBrian?
Title: Re: WSM 2008 - Location unknown
Post by: BonzaiJoe on January 09, 2008, 08:41:22 PM
By the way, I asked my parents whether they had any summer plans. They don't yet. So I told them about the WSM plans, and asked them to let me know if they turn out to be away during those August day. So nothing clear yet, but I'd say chance of WSM in ?rhus at that time is only about 20%.
Title: Re: WSM 2008 - Location unknown
Post by: zaqrack on January 09, 2008, 09:26:43 PM
Is it better for them in July?

July 11-15 is also feasible for me, but late July not... :(
Title: Re: WSM 2008 - Location unknown
Post by: BonzaiJoe on January 09, 2008, 09:37:02 PM
It's still impossible to say, as they have no summer plans yet. But yes, July 11-15 sounds more likely. However, I may also be going somewhere this summer, and it's more likely that I will be in ?rhus on August 15-20 than July 11-15... (but nothing clear about that either)

I still don't have any clear plans for next summer, so I can't promise anything. I still don't know when I'll be on holydays too, we have to deal this at my job with my colleagues as at least 1 person (better 2) should always be there to get the job done.

Hello again all of you :)

I don't know what this summer will bring either, but it would be fun to join a WSM. It haven't played stunts for a long time, but I guess I could always be "the girl serving beer while you're b?f'ing" or something :)

Plan A, Arhus: need for exact date, tickets for the plane, spare some money and try to avoid working in that period.

Plan B, Budapest: nothing, just to buy 846434736 bottles of beer... ;D

Hello friends, me and my brother also want to participate in the world stunts meeting this year, no matter where it'll be. I hope you'll find a place, else I can talk with my brother about finding a place in Copenhagen..

Great news! I am sad to say though that Århus 2008 is almost out of the question now. I had dinner with my parents today and they are not going to travel anywhere during the summer, so we cannot borrow the house. But of course for me, Copenhagen will be almost the same. However, I'd also love to come back to Budapest, and that would fit well with 2004-2006-2008 in Budapest...

2003 was my best shot for a travel to europe. Now my personal economy is much worse so I can't imagine making a travel.

I think about you all often. I remember friendly chats, emails, mails, everything. I could like to go there and shake hands with everyone.

Drink a beer for me and I'll be there in the cheers jaja. If the meetings continues in the next years I'll evaluate a travel.

Post the pics in the forum :)

Unfortunately we didn't organize a world meeting in 2003, but yes, that was probably the most active year in the forum and especially in the chatroom. I also think about that times as a good memory. In the dormitory, I spent all nights chatting there, hoping most of the pipsqueaks, including you, would come. Unfortunately, the chat logs there (which I always wanted to save once on my CPU) are lost forever due to an accident. Now I'm posting a pic taken on WSM 2006 Budapest: here are Bonzai Joe, Usrin, JTK and Zak. ;)

That is a hilarious picture! We all somehow look as if we have a very secret, nasty plan that we are going to carry out soon (probably at the expense of the photographer!)

Alan Rotoi: I also think back to 2003 with nostalgia, but 2008 in the Stunts Community is not so bad either. Not as great as 2003, but we're still here and the Stunts Community is exactly as alive as we all make it. You should let dreams be dreams and come back to create more reality. You can still dream of the "Golden Age of Stunts", but while also living in the reality of a "Silver Age of Stunts".

It is also funny, that even though it was 3 years ago I wore exactly the same set of clotches yesterday - just my hair became a lot shorter.

I recently browsed through the meeting pics - they are all insanely good :) I plan to collect the best and share them on the web - to let the non-participants enjoy the moments as well

Well, there will be probably no "big" meeting in 2008 again :(
But there is still chance to have a smaller 1-day gathering.
Where? In Arhus OR in Budapest!
I'll visit Denmark with Andi between the 20-31 of August (Arhus: Aug 22-29), and surprisingly Champion Bonzai Joe will be in Budapest for a one week long visit just before my departure to Denmark.

So let's organize a short afternoon live race, and I'll provide the chili beans for the evening. :) my home is your home.

so far only aug 17. looks good, but if I manage to get days off work for aug 18-19, we can use one of those days instead.

Zak

unfortunately no, we'll fly to Sweden (Malmö) and enter straight into Denmark through the Öresund bridge. Our rail passes are only valid for Denmark this time, so no visit in Germany :(

In May we were quite close (Bremen), but then our rail tickets only allowed us to travel within Niedersachsen.

Yes, but on second thought, it all depends on when Zak is free. For me, it could actually be the 15th, 17t, 18th or 19th alike. Any day is good for me. On the 16th I'm also free in the daytime, just not in the evening.

Thinking about it... Damn, the cost of the travelling would be 4000 HUF if I come and go on weekend, 5000 if I come on weekend and go on workdays, and 6000 if I come and go on workdays... (+BKV tickets... or I have to walk a lot) And I haven't drunk anything yet... That sounds a bit lot at the moment for me, although I would really like to go. I will try to decide it soon.

18th sounds good so far, it's 60% that I'm coming at the moment. I may have to go to Hatvan on Tuesday, if I go there, then the meeting on Monday is 100% for me, if I have to go there on Monday, then I will possibly miss the meeting, if I don't have to go, then it is dependent from me: travelling costs are high (that's why travelling on Sunday would be good...), but I would really like to go.

Well, is there enough time to do that all? I can arrive at Budapest earlier than 14 CET if we want the time trial. I would like to try it, though I'm 10-12 kgs heavier than in 2004... Usrin might be interested, too - and I guess he is faster than me.

Don't know how much I can check this forum when I'm in Hatvan, but you can call me on +36 30 4107459 if there's anything new.

Nice plans! I'm interested in the time trial, I hope we'll have enough time for it. Akoss, don't worry: although I don't have any extra weight, I haven't had time for training for a few months.

I'm not sure if I can arrive earlier, but I'll be surely there at 14 CET. BÖFF!
Btw, neither my number has changed, it is still +36 20 4210523.

1 Zak (road racing bike) 9:03
2 Akoss (mountain bike) 12:26
3 Bonzai Joe (mountain bike) 13:07

I guess I'm unable to complete such a track. :D

But I improved my time in 2006! Akoss, your time to beat is now 12.19!  Good luck on Monday :) I'm so glad to hear you will come. I had a great meeting with Zak today and the WSM ball is rolling although it's the smallest WSM in history! We are praying to the Stunts Oracle that Zak will be perfectly healthy for Monday! :) And we will miss you, JTK! :(

This time I have no chance to beat that time. I would be satisfied with a time within 14:00. I put on 10-12 kilogramms and I am less trained than in the 2004 year. What is on my side is that I smoke much less than in 2004. Let's have a great battle on the slope on Monday! I guess Usrin will do it within 12 minutes, and, depending on his form, within 11:30, too. If it's possible, I would like to go with the bike I used in 2004.

And in the afternoon, let's hope we can eat chili beans and play some live events! :) Some beers can rise the mood there, too! Well, I'm really optimistic and waiting that meeting really much now!

And yes, we will miss you, JTK...  :(

I can report that Bonzai Joe has safely arrived to Budapest :)
We already met for a short time in the afternoon did some shopping today and also climbed the Gellért-hill while eating lots of berries. I'm busy with other activities the following two days, and still have not completely recovered from my illness but we'll meet on monday for sure.

I just realized the blue bike is given to my uncle right now, the road bikes are converted to single speed. Have some more bikes, but I'll have to check which are suitable for riding now.
That surely leaves us a tandem and my mountain bike suitable for climbing. We'll see if it is possible to do the time trial or not... A tandem race could be a lot of fun. :)

by the way, I'd like to thank Usrin for the great weather forecast for the weekend available on metnet.hu :)

Well, in the worst case, we can ride the same bike, everybody is waiting for the new pipsqueak in the start.  :D I trust in everyone, so I would accept the times.  ;D

I will check if I have some pálinka left up in the balcony... I don't think, but there might be some left...

15h is fine for me, it could be an option to meet at your apartment and go down with Sedsel to Andi's workplace to check her hair. Andi is working from 14:30. Then we can go straight to our home, I'll do the shopping for the food earlier if I can.

I've just gotten out of bed, and am about to go to the Élelmiszer to buy some breakfast. At 12:00-12:30, Zak will arrive here with his girlfriend, and she will check my friend's hair (and give her a haircut in Denmark and be paid in seafood). Then Cork's Crew will go shopping and finally arrive at Zak's door and let Akoss in!

Nope, smallest international Stunts meeting was Zak travelling to France and sleep 1 night at my home back in 2003 and eating some French specialities (mainly cheeses and mustards, even both together if I remember it well).

-We had a five round live race. I'll soon post the results and tracks
-We had chili beans, which were so good, that there was none left for CTG, because he arrived late.
-We had a lot of fun during such a short time, watched olympics, ate melons in the park and such...

... and the others did not stop the party after leaving our place. I stayed at home, but they will probably report on the following.

-pics are to be requested from Akoss and Usrin
-and I installed Stunts on Akoss's computer, so he will be back :)

Drinking, smoking, singing, talking, böffing, farting, arm-wrestling (right hand: 1 CTG, 2 Bonzai Joe, 3 Akoss Poo; left hand: 1 CTG, 2 Akoss Poo, 3 Bonzai Joe), competing in how long to say iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii with one breath (1 CTG ~76 s, 2 Bonzai Joe ~55 s, 3 Akoss Poo ~20 s :D), hunting for non-stop supermarkets, etc... Usrin left around 23:20, BJ at 2:00, Akoss and me around 5:00.

Akoss vomited suddenly just when the drinking party started in a park and later crapped in the bushes. ;D

I hope Jacob found back to Mester utca without any problems, bus line 923 is really long...

And now, Zaki and Andi have checked in at Stadion Allé, Århus! (it seems every Stunts meeting takes place either at Kiscelli Utca or Stadion Allé :)). So this is the second part of this year's two part mini-Stunts meeting(s). This part is even smaller than the last part. BUT, this means Cork's Crew is in the training camp together, and with a cheerleader! So naturally, we are going to smash all competition, particularly CTG.

Yay!

I came from Hatvan by bus, then I took the tram, and travelled/walked up to Zak's house. I bought a beer to have it till I'm waiting for Usrin. After drinking it, Usrin arrived soon. We did the shopping then (buying a lot of beer) in the nearby supermarket. Then we found a shady place to sit down and have another beer. I was also eating a bit there. During this, Zak called me on phone that they are ready to welcome us. After finishing our beer, we walked back to Zak's, and entered the site of this year's mini meeting there.

We said hello to each other (including a chilli beans in pina song greeting to each other), shaked hands, and soon we were having beers and a live racing track at hand. It wasn't mentioned, but the highly waited uphill time trial soon seemed to be already cancelled.

When I was walking around Zak's for the first time, I noticed a terribly disgusting picsacipö on the shelves. It was half-covered with the curtains, but I could not avoid stairing there. Yes, it was that disgusting. I really felt an urge to check this disgusting picsacipö, and take a photo of it. Its heels was very disgustingly and b*tchily high and thin... I could not change my thoughts for a long time, that disgusting sight really paralyzed me. Maybe it had a negative effect on my racing performance, too.

It made me telling the crew some prophecies in connection with the picsacipö. Let's sum it up there. Those women who are wearing a picsacipö are all b*tches. Picsacipö is a shoe which had a heel height above 4-5 centimetres. "Wearing a picsacipö" means that there was a picsacipö on the girl's feet at least once in the past 365 days. A shoe with above 8 centimetres of heels are the most disgusting category, it can be referred to as "kurvacipö". Kurva also means b*tch just like picsa, but kurva is a much harder word. We also talked about the three types of girls. a.) picsacipös kurva (b*tch wearing picsacipös) b.) nempicsacipös kurva (b*tch who doesn't wear picsacipö, but she acts like a Helen) c.) nempicsacipös nemkurva (non-bitches without picsacipö). The main message of this is that no picsacipös nemkurva category, because those who wear a picsacipö are all automatically b*tches.

We were also watching the Olympics. We saw Yelena Isinbayeva there, who is a gyúrós kurva. All those girls who do maleish sports and/or have maleish muscles are gyúrós kurvas (workout b*tches). Isinbayeva is a very extreme example of gyúrós kurvas: (s)he has muscles like a male body builder, much more muscular than other pole vaulters (even more muscular than throwing athletes), she has disgusting black nail polish on her fingers, she has a head like the UFO's heads, her eye colour reminds me on a heavily polluted stream's colour, and still, many people likes her, and she is enjoying this: flirts with journalists. Very disgusting gyúrós kurva. We also saw the Danish handball team winning, along with the Hungarian water polo team winning. Before I arrived, BJ and Zak saw Ezekiel Kemboi running, it was a pity that I missed his run.

We were doing 5 live races. CTG arrived later, during track 3, so he had to race on previous tracks, too. Beers were being consumpted during races. I tasted some new beers there, too. Big böffs and farts could be heard, too, especially from me. Zak cooked some chilli beans, and we ate it up quickly: it turned out to be too little. At that time, CTG was not present, so he missed the chilli beans section. Because we had the table from the kitchen in the bedroom (to race Stunts on it), we were sitting on the floor. Fart munition was inside us from this time, which affected our night party's mood and smell, too. The mini meeting was about live racing, talking and having beer. We also ate a melon (in a park in front of Zak's house). CTG was there for that time, too, but he didn't ate melon. He rather started to smoke, and me, too. We are usually nonsmokers, but that night we really smoked a lot. With having more and more beers, more and more songs became sung. The usual WSM melodies could be heard, too, with the standard verses of course. On live racing tracks, we were "debating" about a beautiful girl, Csillu, who is only known by CTG, but I also saw a picture of ther. Csillu doesn't wear picsacipö. While we were typing our name onto the scoreboard, we expressed our desires to get Csillu in our names there. Her name was also included in a track name, which was built by CTG. After arriving from melon eating, I showed Csillu on my notebook to the crew. Later BJ said that she was a 9/10 girl. I was showing some pictures to Usrin, CTG and Jacky on my notebook, then we also listened to some great songs like Kakadal (Shit song). I also drank a beer during these. Then I suddenly realized that the crew was about to leave Zak's place, so we started to plan the night party. We quickly put our clothes on us and grabbed our bags, rucksacks, and left the WSM main site then.

We was about to buy some more beers and other drinks, but we realized that in this district, shops are closed and/or don't sell alcoholic drinks due to a new rule. That was a really sad thing. With having only 3 litres of beer and 2 deciliters of pálinka, we left the shop. We could not find a shop in which we can fill up our alcohol stock. We climbed the Kiscelli slope, found the usual benches were CTG and me were drinking a few times before, and started to party. We drank, we smoked, we sang, we armwrestled (I'm looking forward to hear the recorded sound effects of the Bonzai Joe-Akoss Poo left hand battle, which was an epic one... CTG?), we had an other competition (holding "eeeeee" as long as possible). We also had some great böffs. We were talking about öblös böffs very much. We described what is an öblös böff for Bonzai Joe. An öblös böff really came out from deep inside. Big, loud, and has a great natural ööööö sound, so not much acting needed. It turned out that CTG is the new master of böffs, and not me. He performed terribly loud and long böffs, I was amazed to hear them. I was also performing well, but CTG was better. BJ also böffed a few times. We also taught BJ some other Hungarian expressions. Like throwing a brown (=taking a shit, "dobni egy barnát), throwing a yellow (=taking a pee, "dobni egy sárgát), outlaw raisin (=a piece of shit in ass hair, remained from last shitting, "betyármazsola), outlaw pear (=a wanted-to-be fart which becomes a small piece of liquid shit in real, "betyárkörte"), fing (=fart), csöcs (=tits). I also performed the "Szörös pina, szörös pina, csöcs, csöcs" rhyme, which became very popular. BJ liked it very much. In his opinion, the word csöcs really expresses what a csöcs is, so it is a very good word for it. CTG and me told some secondary school stories to BJ (sucking in dormitory in the first year for example). We were also talking about Csillu. We were (especially I was) singing some pina-centered songs like Pina pina punci, Barcikai híd alatt, Erdö mélyén tökig ér a gaz. I also translated them to BJ. We were also drinking and smoking a lot. Usrin left earlier, he had to take care of her girlfriend, but we stayed for long (Usrin missed almost all of the mentioned things there). BJ really enjoyed the pálinka, CTG and me rather drank a lot of beer. Because I was hungry, I could not swallow the pálinka, so I vomited. From only beer it was impossible to get drunken for me, so it was strange, but I was the less drunken there. We were also started to watch a South Park episode there, but the battery of my notebook was really crap, and we didn't see the end. BJ was drunken, sleepy and feeling very cold there (even with my summer jacket on him), so we decided to go. We really had to hurry up to catch BJ's bus, so I quickly consumpted the remaining beer, BJ the pálinka, and started to leave. The others were heading for the bus station while I was still peeing and checking the benches if there was anything left. And yes, I founded my swiss army knife there... it was not the only case when I felt it is a lucky day for me. I catched up the others then, and we started to plan the following night with CTG. BJ successfully caught the bus, but there was only a short while to help him directing. Fortunately, it was successful, and BJ found his home.

With CTG, we were about to continue the night in two. We were f*cking hungry, so we wanted to buy some food there. But all the small shops were closed... We were about to give up this and go back to the hill to talk there. While we were walking back to the hill, we find an other shop. It was open. We managed to buy some food. We ate up on the hill on the benches, and we talked. I became quite sleepy and I also had to take a shit. I took that shit in the bushes. I remember, between the foliage sections, I could see the Cassiopeia shining on the sky, while I was shitting. It was an enjoyable one. I cleaned my ass with toilet paper then (CTG fortunately had of it), and it was time to go. I was like an undead, almost falling asleep, and having such an expression on my face. We said farewell to each other with CTG, he caught the bus, me the tram, and travelled back to the dormitory/train station.

During my train route to Debrecen, I took a photo of a lot of picsacipös kurvas.

BÁÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖFF!!! ;D (I couldn't stand it :D)

Well, Zak and Andi take pictures. Photographic pictures. And lots of them... Hundreds! Thousands! You will probably see some of them.

I haven't checked this morning, but yesterday Århus was still standing.

There are so many pictures! I hope to see a lot of them too. But anyway, maybe not so many stories. It didn't feel like a WSM, it felt more like some good friends coming to visit and spending a pleasant week together :)

First of all: Your cake was very good...thanks for baking that (Jacob, show me where those berries are!). And yes, it was a pity that we didn't have more time together (I was quite tired too), but it was very nice to see you again. And I hope we'll see each other next summer. Maybe in China -  who knows :)

You could, but then, you'll just have to "optical alucinate" with your money, as your boss will certainly not like that and will fire you...

Luckily I spend most of the night in the kitchen, which is MUCH MUCH better than the front, so I hardly talked to any of the "guests"  :D
