Title: "NORH Races - The Real Drive" - Tribute to NORH drivers an their great passion
Post by: Mark L. Rivers on April 16, 2008, 11:08:18 PM

I'm glad to publish the video: "NORH Races - The Real Drive".
You can consider it as a tribute to the NORH drivers and their great passion showed in last two SDR seasons.

Enjoy in it, waiting for the imminent start of FTT, the new great NORH season by Krys TOFF!

Great video Mark! I liked it very much. And the music made me remember how I felt every time I drove NoRH. Flawless!!

Did you make the soundtrack, Mark?  :o

Some of that driving is really nice. It makes me want to drive noRH again. The last serious time was ZCT59 (and WSM 2006). I've just never really made this DOSbox thing work for me, but I will have to.

If this becomes true, we'll have to kiss our dreams of becoming bi-champs of NoRH this year goodbye Mark...

Yes, with a Music Maker basic edition. Starting from last Autumn when I find a bit of time (really difficult in order to compose a song...  ::)) I try to make something not so awful. Until here I've composed 5 songs: the two soundtracks for my 2 video (RH and NORH) and three other songs (always instrumentals) even if quite different (racing videos demand a higher rythm...  ;)).

I'm very happy if BJ will join in the wonderful world of official NORH races!  :)  It would be an important step about the full "rehabilitation" of this great specialty!  :)
Effectively, Chulk, winning a race will become a "bit" harder...  but I'll consider me, you and Duplode out from the fight for the title only when it will be mathematical...  so... BJ, we are waiting for you!  ;)

Very nice soundtrack. It's not my kind of music at all, but it's got a rich, professional sound, and it suits the video really well.

Looking at the video, I don't think I would be so "supreme" in noRH racing, but I'd really like to find out. I hope it will be possible!

Nice! I wonder how a NoRH race will go with a slow car.

This is a real incognita in order to the final result...

Please Zak can you create a sub-forum for FTT competition ?
I'm preparing the banner and presentation for the portal right now.
In the meantime, you're all welcome to check the website here : http://feelthethrill.free.fr

Some infos :
- the entire website has been made from scratch by me with Notepad++, this is why it took so long to be ready since SDR ending... ::)
- design is simple, I didn't spent too much time on it. As it's fully CSS-made design, it can be changed easily. If you know CSS and want to create another design, feel free to PM me. ;)
- stats and season pages will be available after the 1st race (no race so far, so no season points nor driver stats to display, logical isn't it ? ;D).
- I'll make the download page tomorrow if I have time, or else it will be made only after I come back from holidays.

I'll be on holidays from 23rd of April to 1st of May. If you have any question, ask them soon or ask them after the 1st of May. :P :D

Don't forget the warning I wrote on the website : password encryption gave me bugs, I had to get rid of it. So, in case of hacking, your password will be known by the hacker.
I strongly suggest then to use a specific password you don't use on any other website.
