Top 6 automatic playoff berth. 7-12: Qualification round, top2 will also reach playoff. It will be hard to overtake Villach (starting with 6 bonus points) and Klagenfurt (4 bonus points) for Fehérvár (2 bonus points). (Graz: 1 bonus points.) Klagenfurt is the Rekordmeister, with István Sofron is on the roster. Villach is the former team of new Fehérvár coach Hannu Järvenpää.
Fehérvár failed to reach the EBEL playoffs. (ice hockey)
Miskolc won Hungarian-Romanian MOL League regular season. Debrecen became 4th, they are in the playoff, too. (ice hockey)
Hungarian national ice hockey team finished only 2nd in the Olympic pre-qualification tournament played in Hungary. We were first seed there, but lost to Poland 1-0 after a 0-0 regular time and overtime, after shootout. Therefore, Hungary finished 21st in the Olympics. (Though 19th world ranked, while Poland 22nd.) Fehérvár's national team players continued their weak form, which resulted in this. The Canadian style oppressed by the coach on the team can be another reason.
Hungarian men's water polo team finished 3rd in the European Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. The home team won the gold. The women became European Champions. The men had to play an Olympic qualifying tournament, while the women already secured their tickets to Rio de Janeiro.
Hungarian men's handball team finished only 12th in the European Championships played in Poland. The team is facing a generation change, many older key players left at home. Unfortunately our two top teams, Veszprém and Szeged are full of foreign players...
Hungarian futsal team finished 10th in the European Championships. Brave effort losing only 2-5 against Spain, and good overall performance as well.

Exactly one place ahead of Brazil (7 -- 2 volleyball, 1 judo, 1 boxing, 1 sailing, 1 athletics, 1 football -- 6 and 6).
The first is why Brazil plays the japanese style and not the latin american style in baseball:
