Title: Original Floppy Images of the Stunts releases?

i try to find ORIGINAL floppy images of all the Stunts versions

Brøderbund versions (referred to as BB versions)
  Stunts 1.0 (05 Oct. 1990)
  Stunts 1.1 (12 Feb. 1991)

Mindscape versions (referred to as MS versions)
  4D Sports Driving 1.1 (13 Dec. 1990)
  4D Sports Driving 1.1 (25 Feb. 1991)

there are several download pages with images - but sometimes complete without version info or partially cracked etc.

anyone with the pure unmodified floppy images around?

for my reverse engineering fun projects

I believe the downloadable versions on the site are  unmodified. They only contain an added file.

i've got these files, but i try to find a more trustable source :) - even if i only compare and get to the same result that there is no modification

Yep - click on "Download Stunts". Unluckily I don't have a better image of the disks. Akoss Poo once won an original version at one of our contest seasons, he probably still owns it and can send some images of everything?

i've downloaded everything i've found - kalpen, abandonia etc. years ago - but no clean floppy images

the floppy images here seem to be only the same version n times with different names

That is the only original I can find. Probably the same you found. (Difficult to see on mobile)

Okay, I will. Note: I've got these from Marco. Because this version wasn't able to be downloaded from anywhere back in 2019 and before, I asked him to upload it, and so he did. Marco still have his original floppies of 4D Sports Driving 1.1 (02-25-1991) version. So consider this as a RIP

You've got 720K sized files, which sounds more genuine than 541,57K and 516,34K

The status is modified so that checks out.
I'll have a look at them. It seems they all link to archive.org.

The game file's can still be original though.

Great! :D  I think it'd be good to have links in the tournament sites to download each of the original Stunts packages, besides our customised versions.

LOOOL - of course I thought of "pictures" reading "images"...  ;D The zipped download links beneath the disc graphics are the original files from the discs, nothing more. But for sure these are no disk images.

so there are unmodified floppies of all second editions available, sadly not the 1.0 variants

Not all versions. Only the latest of stunts and the latest of 4D sports.
But the difference between the earlier 1.1 versions is very small. (There is a game comparison on the wiki)

for me only the "unmodified thing" is relevant, and the unpack algorithm of stunts 1.0 is different - so could be that the VCEs etc. also using different packing/format etc.
its only for getting a full analyze base - even if the game itself is not that relevant

But I could be that 1.0 packed files are different.

Unpacking packed 1.0 files (if they are packed with DSI own packing tool) might be difficult to unpack.

Interesting find on the greeng.sfx file.

what tool other then DSI own packing tool should have packed the stunts 1.0 files beforhand?

its impossible to unpack it with 1.1 algorithm if the 1.0 algorithm is different
