Nice! :D I imagine that it will be as fast on grass as it is on tarmac, which will make shortcuts even more interesting.

We accept suggestions ::)

It may change but I imagine a similar top speed of LM-002 (about 125 mph). An explosive 0-40 mph but then a normal acceleration.

I fixed the flames :)

What about an American paintjob too? ::)

Wow!  This one really has a great look and it's something we still don't have. Makes me want to make a car myself!

I couldn't wait to make a quick teaser :D

PS: Chevy Silverado and K-1500 is the same car so I'll use the more fashion name "Silverado" :D

Oh!  It can actually hop onto the boulevard directly!  Big wheels really work as big wheels! :o

I was surprised too because I didn't use replay hadling for that stunt. It was a one shot scene. The only thing I changed in that car is the height (50 I guess). It was luck or maybe height isn't only a point of view parameter.

It'd be interesting to analyse whether both the wheel radius and the car height have an influence on this. And also, when jumping at the boulevard with normal cars, I normally try several times, but there doesn't seem to be a clear rule on when it will work and when the car will crash. Maybe this is an indicator of more or less how that works.

Hmmm only a few tests but I think it was a combination of slow speed + luck.

I think that was it. The car height stat might have an influence on it, but that would be a bit of a breakthrough in Stunts physics research, as it was so far understood to be cosmetic in nature. (The physical model of a Stunts car is basically a square, with all 4 corners resting on the ground while not jumping. The car height sets the camera position to a certain height above that square.) Wheel size does not influence this behavior, the visual 3D model is entirely cosmetic.

Maybe the car width or length has something to do with it???

It is a really cool shot though.

Really, really cool.

Yes, I think so. I was excited to find a new physics detail of the game :D

Thank you very much!! I enjoy doing these videos to share the progress. Speaking about progress I finished the 3d shape of the truck (car1). I saw more monster truck pictures and realized they are a bit higher so I fixed it. Also  the chassis is higher. Only 3 points in total. I love the main fuchsia paintjob :D Those monster truck are always flamboyant (thank you google translation).

One of the many beautiful words left by the French.

Still under construction but paintjobs are evolving. What do you think? Is there any other flag or color or something I could add?

These look great! What about a light blue one (like the Audi Quattro), maybe with white or orange flames?

Yes! Suggestions are very welcome! I'll try it.  About orange... I'll love to see this color in stunts but there isn't. We have 99 color that I use for car lights but it's a light brown red.

It'd be great to be able to add orange paint jobs, but I don't see how without impacting current ones... unless parts of the palette could change depending on the current car

Working a bit with the paintjobs. I realize the monster trucks has cool names so every paintjob will have a possible monster truck name :D I think maybe I could add a couple more. What colors and name would have? See the picture attached ;) Also, please suggest names for these seven if you think something better. I can't find a good name for the pink-lila-yellow paintjob. (Flaming Dragon is a good name but meh :D)

  • "Radiant Dawn". Note that, soon after I thought of it, Google told me is the subtitle of a Fire Emblem game (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d4/Fire_Emblem_Radiant_Dawn_Box_Art.jpg). Still, a grandiose JRPG-style name like that somehow fits your theme  :)
  • Or, at a big stretch, "The Anarchist" (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/4c/Never_Mind_the_Bollocks%2C_Here%27s_the_Sex_Pistols.png).
I thought about pussy wagon, but the colour doesn't match.
But I do have a new paint job idea 😜

What happened to the pink and white paint job?  You could call it "Hello Kitty". :P

Hahaha pussy wagon from Kill Bill, that's good! I wonder if it offensive or pejorative...

Kylie you're right, "Hello Kitty" must be back :D

Almost there!
3d model: done!
paintjobs: 95% (car2 colors and shape) (oh and maybe I could add another crazy paintjob)
dashboard: 95% (just a few pixel adjustment)
performance: done!
launch video: maybe ;)

Thank you guys! I can't spend too much time making the video so I just introduce the ideas as fast as I can. I have too much fun making them :D You won't find too much edition skills but you will find funny things :D

About the paintjobs some of them seems like a toy :D

That's a really good idea. To exploit what this car can do, it'd definitely be better to do it in free OWOOT than in strict OWOOT. We already have something prepared for next month, but we can see about this for the following I guess :D
