Title: Santiago
Post by: Akoss Poo a.k.a. Zorromeister on November 19, 2003, 03:13:51 PM
This is a new kind of IRC track (a Tsino stlye track... hmmm... far from my style)... it seems to be very very hard, I don't like icy corners, but I will try to do my best. The current leading time seems to be impossible, I think it will be a Tsino-Bonzai Joe top fight, I think final results will be:

1 Tsino
2 Bonzai Joe
3 Alan Rotoi
4 Alain
5 me :(

1. Akoss poo
2. Tsino
3. Alanrotoi
4. Alain (thats me)
5. Bonzai Joe

good luck on the ice parts

That winning time sounds a bit ambitious   It will be 1.06 or 1.07. And yes, I will be somewhere around #5

we exchange the knowledge of the WINNING TIME for:

THE VICTORY ON Z32
1027 shields  (that is a lot)
nothing at all, your proposal is worth an auto da f

I would say nothing at all, but since your words are backed with nuclear weapons, I only dare to say THE VICTORY ON ZCT32...

Title: kerb
Post by: Mingva on November 20, 2003, 05:17:38 PM
What do you think abt kerb (red-white thing on paved corners)? Is it should be considered as road element? I think, by going on kerb/grass on icy road you can gain extra time.

Post by: BonzaiJoe on November 20, 2003, 05:56:52 PM
I don't think it should be considered road, because it works like grass, and the important thing is how it works, not how it looks.

I will 'hide' my time until december 5 when I finish exams in college.

It would make IRC rules very inconsequent

Did I say yes? I meant "keep the rules" as they are and don't change them.

Sorry, my mistake.

Let us know if we can have 1 wheel over it and the others over the grass or not please!

Post by: Mingva on November 20, 2003, 08:07:38 PM
At the moment only Alain chose kerb as a road :) I think, try to avoid racing on kerb with all wheels. I'm waiting votes from other regular pipsqueaks.

Untill Sunday you'll know my final decision

kerb are hard, road also. Grass is not made for wheels. Wheels are made for kerbs. mud is grass without enough watering... ice is cold water... Mud and ice are road? or we will have a penalty on it? then where to drive?

Well i was kidding about the mud and ice... lets go on...

kerb are hard, road also. Grass is not made for wheels. Wheels are made for kerbs. In formula one, kerb is the road.

Kerb is not red and white stripes painted grass... there is two possibilities:

1 one wheel on the black part
2 one wheel on the kerb

Just decide after that! :)

Nooo! You were wrong Mingva! You don't have to say who used it! Now it can start a fight if the votes are against him. Fortunately I said what I think before it.

Post by: Mingva on November 20, 2003, 08:39:26 PM
 Then I'll decide it by myself. I'll only try to find out that other thinks about kerb (and not about person who drove on it :D)

my opinion was not a choice. it was meant to help you choose: i didnt even decide if kerb is road... where did you see that?

change this cheap menacing tone into something more relevant, please... Mingva didnt agress you :)

It's a funny coincidence because 15 minutes ago jacky "teached" me that "would" is the same of "will" but I guessed it was a kind way of saying. It wasn't aggressive. I had to say "It could be better".

I would prefer to consider kern as the road, like in IMSA Cup or F1.

Kerb= road, it's natural...

Its going to be sad this month: like in buenos aires last year!

Tsino will hide his time, Akoss will do like last month (dont reply Akoss, i know you will hide your time like last month, last month you kept your replay to the last day, mingva would have accepted your time if you send it) Bonzai joe will get the leading time point (the first in his career on IRC) and Alanrotoi will send the winning time.

I will send rpl after rpl, with little improvements, to encourage other pipsqueaks doing the same, for a great time battle.

Like in z32.

(I have worse than exams, Tsino, i have to prepare exam questions and CORRECT them at school... and i drive! damn!)

Soon: everybody will 'hide' his time until the last day (why not, it could be funny)

I won't start on Santiago. I don't care about my ranking, but I feel that I will be beaten by 10 seconds or more. Icy corners are the key of the track, and perharps this is my weakest point in Stunts. So not the ranking but my time causes that I don't want to participate. Sorry!

Kerb is also known as "zebra"... It's road (for me...)

Yes I know it as "cebra". Mings please decide it as soon as possible because there is a track on the way and I could race this weekend, or anybody else.

I got the leading time point in Jakarta
Title: kerb is not a road
Post by: Mingva on November 21, 2003, 08:25:42 PM
After watching some old replays I did my final decision:

Kerb is an off-road element :!:

So, in future everyone should avoid to use kerb as a road.

It was a wise decision Mingva, we agreed that kerb is an offroad element. We had an argument about it earlier, and you penalized my replay because of driving on the kerb. So it was necessary to consider the kerb an offroad element during the whole season. I'm happy you didn't make your competition ridiculous, thanks.  8)

Although icy corner is my weak point, and it would be very helpful if i could drive on the kerb...
