Wow, thanks for the help!

What I would be glad to hand over:

- Monthly technical site update ( bit technical, clicking some buttons on the site + recording car and ltb bonuses, uploading the new track)
- Validate replays and write admin news announcing winners, highlights, introducing the new track - at least on a monthly basis w. the track update, if more often, the better.
- Monitoring what's going on in the community (forum and news posts monitoring, not that much lately)
- Track design (I'd stay as a guest designer, we need at least 10 tracks / season from others

What I would like to do:
- Take a step back and race :)
- Occasional track design

Hello All!

As you have likely noticed, my activity this year in the Stunts world was very shallow and weak. There is just too much going on in parallel and whereas my love for Stunts lasts forever, my passion for the game is year-on-year decreasing, which makes it harder to dedicate sufficient time when there is not much available. This is expected to turn even worse  during the coming months, as our new house is almost completely built, and there will be a lot to do with moving / settling in / etc.

Thanks to dreadnaut, it really does not take much time to upload a new track each month (less than 10 minutes, excluding track design),  but I feel bad about the lack of involvement and commitment regarding news posts, racing, forum life and so on. The community deserves more and better as there is still a lot of positive energy that should be nurtured.

With no other Stunts championships running in parallel, stopping ZakStunts is not something I would support, but I am really considering taking a break from championship management: letting someone else do the driving, for the above mentioned reasons. If someone volunteers with good plans and has the support of the community, I would be glad to hand over the wheel for 2018 and perhaps beyond.

Any thoughts, interests? We are well in time to prepare, the new manager could think about changing some of the rules for 2018, etc.

wow, this first generation passat actually looks cool - you cannot really tell the same on subsequent models.

I am sorry I could not race properly tonight! A BIOS and chipset driver update solved the keyboard issue (at least it seems so now) Next time count me in!

I'd prefer live races without knowing the track in advance. Live races should show how good pipsqueaks are without any additional aid such as RH - or exercise. If someone has several hours to practice the track, that is a huge advantage.

Yes, we can ask how many tracks he wants to design himself and how many wants to leave to guest designers, then see how many of us are willing to provide a track and sort that. I will be happy to provide one or two tracks. Additionally, as I suggested in the shoutbox, I'm pretty certain there's a track designed by AbuRaf somewhere in the archive.

at least 50% guest tracks, 66% or more preferred :)

187 is Alan's Aburaf tribute track
188 is Aburaf's track sent by CAS

Rest is fine, if we have more than 66% guest tracks, I'll be super happy.

Hello there! I haven't been around much in the last months, but I'm glad I managed to race on every track last year :P

Now that you've just gone through the start of season, let me know what the pain points are and what could be smoother. I suppose the manual database updates are the most annoying bits? The same about the track updates.

I almost have two jobs at the moment, but if I have a list I think can find time to decrease admin friction :)

I would say the biggest pain point (monthly/annual update) is to package the track zip file. I have to go through the list of replays, identify the best time based on the submission date, download all, organize and package in a zip. If we could automate this that would be great - or simply link replays to the scoreboard once a race is finished, and then we could abandon the zip altogether.  The rest of the update is really a piece of cake thanks to your constant improvements :) I have to touch phpmyadmin for two reasons only: adding LTB hours and adjusting car bonuses.
