I've added CCC to the portal. Let me know if I should update any details, and write me a brief description :)

Found this piece on trying to understand how MicroProse F-117A generated certain missions. So many mysteries in old games :)

Stunts Chat / Re: Hands

When I say I'm right handed, I mean I write with my right hand, but in reality, there are just as many things I do with each hand.

That could be "cross-dominance". I am in a similar situation: I write with my right hand, use the mouse with the left. I also fan out playing cards "the opposite way", which is a problem with decks that have symbols on only two corners. When I tell people I'm bothered by right-handed decks, they look at me strangely :D

As others have pointed out, there are not that many people around here, and we have now more cars than pipsqueaks. And we should also remember that there can be too much of a good thing.

Say someone brings you a cake. It's delicious, you finish it in two days. Then they bring you two more, and you are grateful and excited! The new cakes are also great, and you are almost done with the second when you receive five more. And just as many the day after. You put a few in the fridge, you ask friends to help, but what are you going to do when the brilliant baker arrives with another ten cakes?

"I spent a lot of time on my cakes, I'm very angry about this! No more cakes for you, stay happy with your dry biscuits!"

Maybe people can't eat cakes that fast, and can't eat only cake. Assuming that they are disrespectful and have something against the baker is a bit... excessive, in my opinion.

As Daniel said, do whatever makes you happy, but don't expect others to go out of their way for your fulfillment.

I look at these hundreds of track files and I want to see everyone, but I have to load one by one at Bliss to see clearly the track path.

As a shortcut, you could use the track viewer on Duplode's Southern Cross website. Drag and drop a track over the "Browse..." button, and you'll get a preview of the track. It sort-of works with replays too, but things are misaligned... maybe it's a small fix ::)

As Afullo suggested, steer away from WinZip, as there are free and good alternatives:

- Windows Explorer itself, if that's your OS
- 7-zip -
- PeaZip -

We can definitely upload the cars on, and link to them from the wiki. For example, we can put them at

I would suggest using ZIP files rather than RAR, as they are DOS-friendly, more 'universal', and don't require proprietary software to decompress.

Lined them up on Google Drive and I can download them all, and upload them here. In the wiki, create a template for the link. So today we can use, but one day we could change to in one go.

I have removed the fractional points for the moment, but they still count toward the participation %. And I made participation the tie-breaker, in case of equal points.

As I just observed in the shoutbox, this year, also non-integer scores (such as 0.10 for 13th place) are considered for the team standings, while usually they were regarded as zero.

That's interesting, looking at the original code, it did exclude any results smaller than one. I don't particularly feel the need for that limit, but it would be easier to continue applying the same rule. What do you all think?

a) team scores should only include results that bring a whole point or more, or
b) team scores should include all results, even fractional ones.

About amateur my opinion is the always the same : one shot comp├ętition and no season scoretable.

Can you point me to the earlier discussion where you mention this? I should catch up with those comments!

Is it a option to add an off-season scoreboard after the race?

I'd like to, and I have been working in that direction. ZakStunts however was not designed to do that, so it will take some time. Keeping compatibility with 20 seasons with 4-5 different rulesets is tricky!

Wow, the top three were really close!

Sorry for missing the race :(  My eyes took almost a whole day to be back to normal after the tests.

I'll be there for the next one, in three months!

Nice! Downloaded. About the car I voted Nissan but I tryied to vote Porsche 911 Turbo that I haven't tried for years and we can't find it in any competition this year. Sorry! My vote goes for Porsche 911 Turbo.

I moved your vote from the Nissan to the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Do you mean worth taking including the penalty time that the game applies?  If so, it will still be difficult to validate the replay since it won't show any evidence of penalty time unless you cross the finish line.

Excluding the penalty time ;D  Cutting the track should take longer than sticking close to the track.

Confirmed! I have an eye test at early in the morning, but I should have plenty of time to be ready :)
