Thanks for advices Zak, I made already such a strategy plan for finding a job. First I looked for favorite jobs, and if there is no chance, let's find anything, just to make work expierenece. And you know what, I got the job!!  :o

It's a privat firm for town planning and architecture I already told, so I'll have a 2months contract with them, and then they will see. I like town planning etc. so I hope it will be interesting for me. What's great is that I have only 20 minutes WALK to the place. And on the way I pass the best "turkish kebeb" in the city! I already see myself every day walkinng home from job, eating a big kebab mmmmmmmmmm.... :D

You really want the newspaper picture Chulk? But don't try to read the text above, it's Croatian  :)

Long time since I started a new topic  :o

I wondered if anybody of you does like photography? Since I got my amateur Olympus 3.2 mpix in 2004, I made over 7000 pictures, so few days ago I got the idea of making my photo album that includes 3 themes/topics: Landscape-Architecture-Nature.

I was inspired by an international photo exposition that took place in Zagreb, it's topics were Science-technology, landscape, people and animals. It was an amazing picture show. So, influenced by them I started to select my best amateur photos. So when I'm done, I'll putt some pictures here.

It would be nice if you also have such interests and photos to put here in this topic, no matter what topic they show. Just anything to talk about the photography  ;D

Aha, your girlfriend wants to join you? Then go!  :D That's a big difference. And for sure a great life expierence to work/live/love in China.   :) Did you watch "Lost in translation"? Great movie.

About my interview, I sadly forgot to mention Stunts. Maybe that's why they still didn't answer me  :(

A month ago I had a presentation in a townhall in front of a town councillor and many pressmen and town planning employees. It was about the revitalisation of a historic forrest promenade Carmen Sylva in Opatija (near Rijeka, on the Adriatic coast). So, next week I found a big article (even with my picture!) about my presentation in daily newspaper Novi list! But I still search for a job...(I got my diploma in July) but everybody search for workers with expierence, 3 yrs, 5 yrs etc... How can I start workinkg then with no expierence (I worked as student only and volunteer - no internship) ?! Do you have some working expierence Zak, when did you graduate?

OK

1:18 (one minute eighteen seconds) would maybe be possible for Formula 1 from the future. Or our Ayrton, but....
2:18 (TWO minutes and eighteen seconds) is already a good result for a M3 car :)

Any improvements yet?

Here a 1:18 vs 2:18 car video

Whoa! That sounds really interesting and kind of new life era for you Zak. That's a big change i suppose. What about seeing your friends, family, home town, country? Will you be able to visit them often over the year?

P.S. If you get the job in China (I wish you success) than, like you said, that's a huge step "...to find contacts, partners, or prepare new investments..." for the new chinese Stunts comunity  ;D

And I can already tell you that: there are lots of Chinese people  :o

P.S. Tomorrow, I have an interview at a company for city planning, urbanism etc. There a lots of architects competing this job, and they get such jobs much easier than we, the landscape architects. But things chance in Croatia, there is more and more the need for landscape architects to project and protect urban and rural spaces. So I also hope to pass the first interview. Ahm...do you think I should tell them about my Kalpen victory to impress the bosses?  ;)

I ment while driving, use the on board - it gives you more information about the car, steering, handling etc.

While lookong a replay, better the outside view - you get more information about the ideal line, the brake points etc.

I'll play some laps tonight :)
#25
Yeah, the lap can be maximized under 2:13.

About the outside line in the 2nd corner, I can assure that this line is not faster than the line inside the track. It's a little bit quicker but also a little more longer. It was just my mistake, I accelerated to soon. Anyway it looks cool :)

In time trial you get penalty (the lap doesn't count) only if you shortcut the track. The 2nd corner was more like a "long cut" so it's legal, the lap time continued. But be careful with shortcutting the first corner or the chicane at the end!

I also drive with the camera where you can see only the front part of the car. The replay just shows more information with this outside camera. (I think the outside camera gives you much less information about your driving than the on board camera.

P.S. Chulk, that's a good time, keep improving! And CTG, Krys, c'mon!  :)

My favorites are

Spa
Suzuka
Sepang

Hm...all tracks with the "S"

But I don't like Silverstone all to much :)

Woohooo I did 2:15 time!!

I recommend TC level 1, Bilstein suspension, ABS on. But it's hard like hell to go under 2:15 with keyboard. I visited the M3 challenge forum. There are also lots of freaks with momo racing wheels, even installed racing seat, big screens, dolby surround etc... Nothing for "normal people" like us, but some of them manage to do 2:10 laps!!! Of course, with the wheel and the equipment you can improve about 2-3 seconds, but there's still place to improve for us (2:13lap with keyboard maybe...)

Here a crappy video of my hotlap :)

Standings after 6 weeks:

1. 2:16.689 Mislav
2. 2:22.Xxx Krys TOFF
3. 2:33.5xx CTG
4. DNF Mark L. Rivers  8)
4. LFPE Chulk

P.S. (LFPE = Learning For Postponed Exams)   ;D

Krys, that's actually pretty good graphics compared to mine. I play with the apsolute minimum graphic level without shadows and everything. Frames are for the game play much more important than high detail level etc. Select the Bilstein Suspension and you'll improve :)

And good luck Chulk for your exam today!
