But the rules is not 4 pixels width ?

You can mask it in "dota" ;)

For the dot I guess that making it smaller (1x1 or 2x2) and adjusting starting coordinates, if needed, can make it centered on the steering wheel. It also can be gray with black border to be less contrastant over the wheel.

Good job!

Ok I understand the tinted glass : in dast, I use white instead of black. Good effect for a small windshield ;).

If the "dasm" has white pixels (index 255 color in vga palette) "placed" over non black pixels in the corresponding "dast", then transparency turns into translucency.

Hey good idea, but I need the dast and dasm for the curve line on the top left of the dashboard.

Either you choose exclusively to use a curved dash or a curved windscreen. ;D

...or not, Try to use a bigger dasm and dast to acomplish windscreen area. Not sure if it renders correcly.

Ryoma, check this exercise:

I've detached the "dasm" and "dast" resource image setting start coordinate Y to pixel 1.
Does it fit on your case?

A suggestion or an help for the roof?

I think that is plausible to omit the roof at all since the RT/10 is a roadster  ;)

Have you tried to play with "dasm" and "dast" image objects on STDA*.VSH ?

I had tried to make a curved roof do simulate a higher windsreen version for Caterham, but it doesn't suport an alpha mask...

I've just released a v1.1. in order to adjust speedometer and minor ajustments (air grip/oversteer).

Oh my god, wonderfull !!! You did the steering wheel in car1!! Awesome !!

Thanks Ryoma!
The steering wheel is just a composition of "lines" (but not possible on car0 since there were no much more vertices left) ;)

Its a bit lame that it is not possible to put the needle in black:

UPDATE: check the recent news about this here

Hi,

Caterham Super Seven JPE has just being released. (already updated to v1.1)
Download here:    CaterhamSuperSevenJPE_v1.1.zip

While gathering all data from this car I had to make some compromise choices on colour schemes and dashboard layout, mainly because there is no oficial brochure and also because since this is a special limited version, where aproximatly 50 were made in which then "suffered" from customer personalization afterwards (http://www.thecaterhamregister.net/jpe.htm).

The performance figures were also trickie, because some exemplars have even more tweaked engine (+250HP) and a gearbox with 6 (short track oriented) ratios rather than other 5 gear "more standard" option.

But here it is, the car that in the time it came out, broke the 0-100-0MPH record when released in 1992 (relegating Ferrari F40).

Note: Careful with this feather weight, its prone to "flying carptets" and "fast landings" ;)

Some other review that were investigation material:

Hello you all

A new car is being projected to join STUNTS, this time a track oriented car to a track oriented game.
The very special "Caterham Super Seven Jonathan Palmer Evolution" from 1992 (an evolution over "HPC" version from 1990).

For now, base information, performance and modeling of the showroom shape is on it's final touches:

I hope to complete it in a few days or weeks.

More stuff about this "0-60-0" (MPH) record breaker of the period:

Very very very...and another very good....thanks

One remarks : there were two black in pixels in the first zero on the left on the speedometer.

Hi Ryoma,

Those 2 pixels are black are set by "ins2" resource on STDAzPFT.VSH over 3 "base" digits.
The appearence of those pixels while in-game rendering happens because digital speedometer starts only with "00" rather than "000" (you can compare with Corvette's example). I try to use the dark red on this base "ins2" but that causes bad rendering when the left zero turn into "1" or "2", so I had to leave those 2 pixels in black in order to get a functional "hundreds" of MPH ;)

Speaking of Corvette's dash, do you remember in Accolade's TestDrive Corvette that has an fully digital dashboard?

It would be great if it could be done in Stunts...

Hi, I'm glad to see that this was car welcome.

And knowing this, I'm here to release an updated version KITT v1.1 with changes on gear console, now it presents an automatic console appearence (left labels) adapted to manual (right labels).

Although STUNTS has no simulation of an automatic transmition, I made the mimic of a vertical selector with 4 positions for each manual gear selection. This change also brings a faster shifting and minimizes hesitation on acceletarion in SPM mode (when gearing up).

Enjoy.

Hi,

Nice remastering in GTO ;)
I've done in the past some tunning to all stock cars in STUNTS to match real performance figures, and also correcting meter needles.
If you want, you can merge with the performance that I made in CARzFGTO.RES (Zapper's car pack), it also corrects the speedometer and rev meter on that dashboard.
