Permanent Competition / Mistake of Skids!!!
October 25, 2002, 03:29:34 PM
Ah! Then I understand better :) I saw the replay and it said CTG: 1.13.65 Bonzai Joe 1.13.95. As I have done 1.13.65, I thought he had swapped them and told him so... But I guess that means I'll have to improve it! :)

Stunts Questions / Controls

I think if you download Stunts BB 1.1 from "www.kalpen.de", you will have the gears at SPACE and ENTER. I don't know if there is different solution...

Stunts Chat / Am I a liar?
October 24, 2002, 11:41:42 AM
I don't believe anyone thinks you are cheating or a liar... Some believe that you are simply mistaken. That you may think replay handling is something else than it is, that your computer is facilitating faster driving in some way, or that you are using another trick, that you thought was legal (Slow simulation speed, Moslo, taking breaks while driving etc.)
I'm not saying this because you drove 1.12.75. That can happen, if you drive well, and have a lucky drive. I'm saying it because you did it 13 - and probably more times. Statistically, when Alan Rotoi, Zak, Alain and myself have been driving a lot, and not gotten under 1.16 - it is not strange that you should be able to drive 1.13, but it is strange that you should be able to do it so very many times. That's what we, or at least I, are/am talking about.

Competition 2002 / Rules

But rules can change if we make a program that can detect things like that? I hope so...

Stunts Chat / Times
October 22, 2002, 01:54:18 PM
Weekends... that's all very well, but I don't understand why we would put the live races at 17h canadian time = 23H GMT +1? Such a late time would mean that neither Zak nor I would ever really be able to participate. Don't you others ever work or study in the daytime??
I'm sure pArAnO or AlanRotoi would be able to come online at 15:30H or something. At least before 17h! Or maybe we could have more than one race/day?

Permanent Competition / Otto's

Many have already designed a track with that name I think. ManOnMoon designed a classic called Ottos. It was a 25-way track if I remember right... so nostalgic...

Stunts Chat / Live event
October 21, 2002, 09:01:40 AM
pArAnO: Which time zone, or which part of Canada do you live in? - read my article about rules. The only difference is that you must no longer necessarily drive with auto-transmission.

Je ne parle pas francais.

Mingva: When is the next event? :)
