Freeciv battle
« on: November 18, 2004, 10:07:02 PM »
Because there are lots of Civilization fans between the pipsqueaks, lets organize a battle!

We should use freeciv
http://www.freeciv.org
because it uses the same rules as civ2, but is created with net-play in mind, there are several servers online, and turns are simultaneous.

please reply here if you want to join, it'd be great with 5-6 of us, and then we can set up a date when we can play.

oh, and there is a good faq how to set up freeciv under windows:
http://old.freeciv.org/windows/

under linux its a simple ./configure;make;make install :)

As soon as I can have a correct version of FreeCiv, I'll with you.
For the moment, I have graphic bugs I have to get rid of...
