Beers tasted in Germany in the last few days:

Jever - 7.5/10
Paulaner - 5.5/10

I wanted to taste the famous Kielerbrau, but I couldn't find it in Bremen. (And neither in Munich, but I think that's not surprising.)
Btw, B?FF!

You can taste Kiel beer only in Kiel, because the brewery is very, very small. You can't even get it in a restaurant in Kiel, only at the Kieler Brauerei.

I lagged behind with rating the new beers - I had some newbies in the late spring I forgot to write here. I'll check my MSN logs to find their marks.

At least I hope you bring masses of the best beers to the meeting!  ;D ::) ;)

Finkbrau (GER, from Lidl) 2.5

Some new rankings:

Kelt 7.5
Steiger (now I tasted the real Steiger, 12%) 6.5
Hoegaarden Grand Cru 8
Leffe Blonde 8.5
Velkopopovicky Kozel (again, the real one, 12%) 8

And as I said, please rise back Zlaty Bazant's rating from 8.5 to 9.5! It's really superb, it was a shame to decrease its mark some weeks ago, sorry.

JTK, how did you like the communist beer? :)

JTK

Well - I liked it more than the red one (can't remember it's name, two words, beginning with "A"... Arany, something like this?). But the ranking here with 4,5 is pretty good, not better! Borsodi is a very good beer for me, tasty, running smoothly in masses down the throat, providing a fresh head in the morning. The communist beer is a beer for when there is no more Borsodi left...  :)

LOL! ;D

I'm drinking Pittinger (5.2%, AUT) at the moment. Surprisingly good compared to the price - I give a 6.5 on it.

Kelt - 6.5/10
Gambrinus - 7.5/10
Bran?k (CZE, 4.1%) - 6/10
Cheers (GER, 5.2%) - 5.5/10

Some older test results are coming soon.

Yesterday I had some nice 4 litres of Astra, a beer orignally from and still brewed in Hamburg - good party beer, easy to drink, not sweet at all. :)

Drinking alcohol is strictly  forbidden for me at the moment (and maybe forever)... :(
