Don't be afraid of me, I won't take part. :)

Why ? Prove us all that you deserve your champion title. :P

CTG

I already deserved it with my four consecutive victories. ;)

Anyway it's time to give more chance for others to step higher. :D

Krys TOFF

why leading time didn't start at 0H00 last night as we're now in december ?
I should have 3 hours of leading time and Ayrton should be the one cumulating leading time since then... ::)

Hello Simon, and welcome to the community!

Don't get scared, you dropped into the hardest battle of the year, on a track well-known in every little detail between the drivers.

One very important help is, that drivers use replay handling. Find more info here: http://stunts.mine.nu/zakstunts/pics/school/bernie3.gif

The other very important thing on this track is Power Gear, and way switching. Drivers reach power gear already after the first small hill (with the slalom blocks on top), they do this by trying countless times to get the car make some small jumps and gain more speed, eventually reaching 8000rpm in fifth gear, and then the engine  gets into power gear, and wont slow down on grass, running with 245mph (its a bug in the game), more info here: http://stunts.mine.nu/zakstunts/pics/school/bernie2.gif
From here they just alternate their path between the two ways on the track, driving almost all the time off the track, on the grass, just barely touching the pavement sometimes in order to avoid penalty.

As my current replay isn't that fast (not even under 40sec :)), I share it for you, download and see how it is possible.

And don't worry, you can get used to online stunts racing in some weeks! Many of us did, and enjoy it a lot :)

Hi zaq is an honour to know you and see your message!  :-*

I know very well the bug of the 5th gear "persistent turbo mode", discovered soooo many years ago when (I was 12 I think). But even with this I don't understand how is it possible. I don't reach first hill with bug gear because rpm is a little under the "magic number". And after a little there's a turb on the right, isn't it? I hate the parabolic horizontal with block on the center but even on the grass I'm on the minute.

At that time I was reeaaally a good player of stunt. I think I've played with this one thousand of time.

Simon82

I've seen your replay... ahhh I understood that lot of track have been deleted passing through the grass. I prefer stay on the road!  ;)
I think this could be a "permanent" rule.

I already sent my replay, so I also took a look. How the heck do you reach Powergear in the beginning? I tried so many times but my Indy never starts flying... :-\

Still I'm a constructor, not a pipsqueak...

Manual gears is needed to perform "magic carpet" bug jump more easily. And this way you can have a bug jump when landing on the hill (when landing just after the concrete blocks). Then, if you're very lucky, a 2nd magic carpet gives you powergear when you're still on the hill. Else, the jump from the hill to the ground gives you powergear.
Or, you can reach powergear like Zak with a magic carpet when landing from the hill, but you already lost 1 or 2 seconds this way.

JTK

Manual gears, sure, of course. But I never got a magic carpet on this track. I will exercise further... Thanks, Krys

Mistake of the Default race is that we don't use the original line. It would be more realistic to drive it on the traditional way without shortcuts: just the one we used at the beginning of our Stunts career.

Hi agree, even if in the video lot of dirty trick made. I hate the rotating trick it's the only think I could let pass far from.

CTG

Rotating trick??? Do you mean cutting corkscrew?

I recommend you Paleke's WSC championship, you are not allowed to leave the road or cut any of the track elements there! Unfortunately its really time demanding to check for such "cheats" when you get dozens of replays a month, so most competitions don't have this rule.

well, we could let some trick allowed going for ex. on the grass only to correct direction and re-enter on the track. I think that the real track is excellent for competition. Going through the grass directly to the arrive is not fun.
