My suggestion for a replacement name would be "modders"

I think this is the most appropriate.  The term "Developer" implies that the work is being done professionally.

Zapper

I'm more agreed with Duplode's suggestion for "modders".

You are absolutely right.  (I for one are the opposite of a professional)

It seems that "modders", among all, is the most balanced term.

I think that "modder" is more specific than "developer". "Programmer" is also specific. It's true that "developer" sounds more professional and kind of commercial, even though it doesn't have to. I personally prefer to be called a "programmer" or a "coder" when I write programs. It makes me feel that I have nothing to do with the Microsoft/Google world, ha, ha (compared to "developer"), but if I create something that's not a program, then I have no choice but to accept another tag. A "modder" is somebody that makes derivative works from other people's software, usually non-programs. If you create a new car, you're not doing programming, but also not sure if you're "modding", since you're working from scratch. Maybe "(software) creators" could be considered too, although it sounds a little dramatic, ha, ha.

About "hacker", I think this is a person that solves puzzles and finds the way to tame somebody else's code. It doesn't have to be illegal and in fact, I think it's a little "microsofty" to assume it is, since MS is always promoting that view in an intent to convince people to only use their software. But of course, there are evil hackers, just like there are evil programmers and evil whatever. Anyway, hackers are not creators, they're puzzle solvers, so the word wouldn't apply to people that develop something new, I think.
Earth is my country. Science is my religion.

I associate 'hacker' as doing something with the code (or using it in a way) that was not intended by the developer. It doesn't have to be harmful, just not intended.

The way some of the game peculiar characteristics are used (like mid air turning) are in my opinion a form of hacking.

I don't think there is one name that includes everyone. So I think we could group maybe??
  • programmer's (tool creators and reverse engineers)
  • modders (content creators)
  • managers (website, competition etcetera)

Hey do you like it? Should we make the complete list of cars like this? What info should we add to this list?

It's a good template.  8)
I suggest to add a publishing year and version (if applied) on the table.

Wow, that looks really cool.
Can you emphasize the cheat cars?
And is it possible to add the car and a download button?

That's the next step. The question is: Where do we host them? The problem isn't the space, they are too light. I have my cars in a Google Drive folder but it's not useful as a download system. It opens the .rar file and show you the compressed files (and then you can download it) instead of direct download the .rar file. If somebody tells me how to change it to a direct download I could host all cars.

Yes. I think I should list them separated.

On an easy to maintain location. But I think that you can use the forum download link, or the southern cross section.
But a dedicated location within the stunts.hu would be best I think.
Maybe somewhere within Zak.stunts.hu?

If dreadnaut (or zak? ???) gives us few space we could make "Cloud Cars" :)

Meanwhile the listed custom cars are from: Zapper (9), Mark L. Rivers (1), Duplode (3), Overdrijf (4), KyLiE (1), Alan Rotoi (5), Cody (1), Crazy Jimmy (1), CTG (1), Ryoma (1) and Lukas Loehrer (1) (this last maybe should be in another list or just mention it's for BB1.0

And in the list of cheat cars are 9. Please make the corrections or tell me what it would be good to add.

I have a spreadsheet with most custom cars.
Would that help with the addition if Ryoma cars?
