I try to put a wheel in the car hood but dunno how. :-\
Place a wheel roughly in the right spot and export the model. Rotate the part in blender or something and import it again.
Do you guys use something else than Stressed to build 3d shapes of the cars?
I use softimage|xsi. But that's overkill.
But the wheels I add in stressed.
But sometimes move in the editor.
I can do it for you. Will take 30 minutes or so.
I have some time tomorrow.

New car shape! What car is this? :D

Ryoma

alanrotoi

It needs a few fixes but I think American cars were not so popular in Europe 😆.
It is also a classic Argentine car. #summonCas  ;D

Ryoma

No because few american cars came in Europe .... And it was not regular.

alanrotoi

No problem. I'm here to solve that ;D

We lack of American cars in Stunts. I'm not trying to fill that space. Here in Argentina are brands like Ford, Chevrolet, Chrysler and from Europe Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, VW, Fiat. I mean those wich are manufactured here only. So we have a lot influence from both industries. The fun thing is that when we build local cars they are based on American cars but all the details, the lines and comfort we get inspired on Italian designs.

Cas

Well, I am not somebody who knows much about cars, I have to admit... and what I will say doesn't match what you say, ha, ha... but it reminds me of a Ford Falcon :)

alanrotoi

Exactly! It's a Ford Falcon Sprint! Thank you! :D

alanrotoi

Another challenge. The true blood Argentine muscle car: IKA Torino. Still a work in progress, the front is too hard.

Ryoma

Cool...Alan will make a lot of cars now....cool

Cas

Wow... that one looks great, really unique!

Thank you guys! A lot of learning is still ahead but I'm having fun :D

About the 5th wheel in the back hood, is it possible to place it like in the picture?

I think so. The LM002 spare tyre should be a good reference.

alanrotoi

Yes I used it in fact but it's just not the same. I tryied to put it vertical but I don't understand the object. I'm 90% sure it is impossible and seems nobody did it before.

Give me your model and I'll try to re-position the wheel in softimage.
I can easily manipulate it without changing the relative vector positions.
