Present state of my coin collection:

    Brazil (real)
Brazil: a Brazilian student is co-supervised by me, during his summer internship we talked a lot, coin collections were also discussed, the other day he brought me a 5, a 10 and a 50 centavo coins. :-)

Which generation of coins? All silver or coopper 5, yellow 10 and silver 50?

See attachment, I took a photo of them.

I'm proud to announce that I beat my EAST latitude record on foot in the past days. Having fixed holidays off from work, but having our car at service, we decided to fly to Cyprus for three nights.

Exact record came yesterday: 33.6409o E in Larnaca, near Europe Square and Larnaca Marina.

Also first time visited a country which is geographically located in Asia (though it is culturally and politically Europe, so the same as it was for the Canary Islands-Africa relation).

With this, on foot, North record became my weakest record, moving only around 12o from my location of origin. (East movement on foot is now around 13o.)
Remark: I never counted records on airplane, but when I flew to the USA in Feb 2011, we touched the North of Greenland around latitude 79o N.

On airplane, my West record is probably my East record. I don't know how to take it, because I crossed the International Date Boundary when I went to New Zealand. So I'm unable to break my own East and West records and yet, I haven't visited most of the world. My North record is Maiquetía, Venezuela and South record is within my country, in Punta Tombo, Chubut. Afoot, I've always loved walking, but never did it trying to set a record, so always within my sector of the city. The longest I've walked in one session is probably about 20 km. Could've done more and further if I had had the purpose. I should try that. It's a nice thing to do. Walking is a good habit and setting goals helps with it :)
Earth is my country. Science is my religion.

Min. altitude -223m under sea level, in a tunnel near Stavanger, Norway - I think that was it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byfjord_Tunnel

Exactly. I have the same minimum altitude, having crossed this tunnel many times.

However, I expect to break this record twice in October. First I'm going to run half-marathon in a brand new subsea tunnel going down to -291 m:

Accomplished. The new record is actually -292 m, I rather trust the organisers of the race than Wikipedia.

That's very cool! Was that before the opening to traffic? How's the air down there?

I drove through the tunnel to Magerøya, in Finnmark, so I suppose my low altitude record is -212m. Max altitude should be ~3400m on the Jungfrau, CH.

    afullo

My max was 3538m back in 2000, but from where I live, I could do better with a certain easiness.

Unfortunately I never went below 0m, except by "diving" at the sea, thus probably my exact record is somewhere near -3m...

Yes - it will be opened for traffic at the end of December. The air was super clean, quite humid and a bit warmer (12 degrees) than outside. Like in a natural cave. With the absolute lack of wind, it felt warmer than ideal for running, even wearing only T-shirts and shorts.

Uhm, I've been in a few caves and I wouldn't enjoy running there. Moreover, running in an underwater tunnel means it's all downhill at the beginning, and all uphill at the end :P

Exactly. And the deepest point is not in the middle but at 17 km --> the last 4 km was a 7-8% incline, where I was rather walking than running. :) (I finished in 2:10:50, after reaching 17 km at ~1:30.)

And for late October, the company is planning a geological field trip to the Dead Sea - that would be a nearly unbreakable record.

This one has been also accomplished, my new low altitude record is -394 m. However, it's not unbreakable: we ran out of time and did not visit the northern part of the Dead Sea, lying ca. 30 m lower. (The water of the southern part is kept "high" by dams.)

I've updated my flight history, digging up the bookings from the last 2 years - and it turned out that I completed exactly 200 flight segments during my life so far.

Oh... I have my flight stats only in an Excel file. And I only have 34 flights so far during my life.
