Nope, that's why I specified that I was talking about "Dup/Zak/BJ-Cork's Crew"  ;)

Okay, but you also said the word "ever" in the next sentence, invalidating this specification.

(a kákán is csomót keres - what's the proper English version for that?)

BonzaiJoe

Yes, I recognize that mistake. I hope the situation is clarified now.
But we can't be quite sure.

In Portuguese one might say "procurando pelo em casca de ovo" (looking for hairs on an eggshell). In English I can only think of "nitpicking", but that doesn't sound fun enough...

You have that expression too! "Buscandole un pelo al huevo" would be the Spanish phrasing.
On the other hand, ever does not invalidate "Dup/BJ/Zak". Ever invalidates a temporal reference, not a situational one...
Yes, it is me. No, I'm not back at racing (for now...)

BonzaiJoe

In Danish, we say "flueknepperi", which means "fly stallin". It's one hell of a word.

Anyway, I think I did put it wrongly. The "ever" is in a whole other sentence than "Dup/Zak/BJ", and that sentence does not explicitly refer back to the previous one.
But we can't be quite sure.

that sentence does not explicitly refer back to the previous one.
Agreed. It's confusing but confusing is not wrong, just not clear enough
