Great song, weird cover version...
But we can't be quite sure.

Even though it's a great song, it also symbolizes what I hate about most metal music: they don't want to express anything dark or deep, just to sound cool and make a lot of 'powerful' noise. The opposite is Nico.

metal fans: don't be afraid:

On a lighter note, Cocteau Twins, and the album I always listen to when it gets cold and dark in november/december:

Embedding would be a nice opportunity to have. I don't know why it's not possible here. It's possible on other forums.
But we can't be quite sure.

Organic techno on real instruments! That's a fun idea. Sounds good.
But we can't be quite sure.

I wouldn't necessarily agree in the general case, but... that is a good explanation for why I can't stand Dream Theater  :)

It used to work here, too; I even think I remember when Zak enabled YouTube embedding (2008?). It must have stopped working recently.

Oh, and before I leave:

Beautiful... I'll give that album a spin.

One of the better ones. I won't claim it is bad, of course - I am a prog rocker at heart after all - and it has its cool moments (I'd mention the instrumental section starting at ~17:00), but in the end it somehow feels a bit hollow even if all things seem to be in the right places. It is kind of a visceral reaction, really...

I think this is far better than the original. I wish I had a scanner-bass.
