Highlights:

  • dreadnaut's excellent cut through sector 2 (the cork-between-hills-and bridge part), which put him in contention for the 6th place;
  • Brian and Friker, as well as myself, chose not to skip the cork u/d, while the others avoided cork and bridge by driving through the grass. It didn't make that much difference in the end (ignoring Renato's lap, obviously), because the extra speed into sector 5 coming from the bridge largely offset the loss of time caused by ascending the cork (credit to Zak for the smart combination!). In any case, such speed differences were what allowed me to salvage 8th place...

The above, indeed. The grass and bridge paths felt very well balanced, and it took me quite a few tries to eventually go for the grass path, which felt slower. However, the high speed from the banked part plus my troubles with high speed corners decided for me —I was about 1.5 slower on the bridge.

Friker

..and here, we can see how Friker (and probably SB) made his replay in 20 minutes.. you should leave us from analysis.. (but ok - it makes me really ashamed and i promise i will race this month :D )

You'd better, 'cause I'm not gonna cover you on the waterboarding trap of this month.

CTG

Damn, my Audi lap was just deleted. I wanted to compare the section times...

Fast edit: stupid me, it's online. :D
