Kazakhstan will surely go back to Pool A.
Hungary or Poland have fair chance to follow the Kazakhs, playing a big game on Saturday.
But first, Hungary will have to beat Ukraine, who are lacking many key players.
Japan is the main contender for getting relegated to division 1/B.

Today:
Japan - Italy
Ukraine - Hungary
Kazakhstan - Poland

Meanwhile, in the NHL:
Eastern 1/4 Finals:
Pittsburgh Penguins (8th seed) - NY Rangers (1st seed) 1:2 after extra time [NYR leads 3-1]

The Penguins are in trouble after losing the two home games...

Pole and Hungarian cousins be (Polak, Wegier — dwa bratanki) / Pole and Hungarian, two good friends (Lengyel, magyar – két jó barát)! These two nations will match for promotion to Pool A in the division 1/a ice hockey world championship, Kraków, Poland. This time, for the first time ever, Hungary can play such game when we are the stronger side. We have better players, Poland has come from division 1/b... but they are on home ice and is the surprise team of the tournament.

Hope you can stay in the elite division until 2018 when the World Championship will be held in Denmark...
But we can't be quite sure.

Well, there's a better chance of getting promoted this year, relegated in 2016 and then again promoted in 2017 for the 2018 Danish WCH. :-)

We have done it! Hungary is in Pool A! 1939, 2009, 2015!

With neutralized players: Banham (40 years old, from Canada), Sarauer (30 years old, from Canada), Metcalfe (3 of his 4 grandfathers are from Hungary).

Missing key players: Bartalis (Fehérvár, AUT-1), Nagy G. (Kalamazoo, ECHL playoffs), Tokaji (Fehérvár, AUT-1), Sikorcin (Fehérvár, AUT-1), Hetényi (Fehérvár, AUT-1) because of injury, illness and playoff involvment.

We will back in Russia, 2016! Grats to the team! :-)
