Ferencváros wasted all their chances, there were big pressure on the Zeljeznicar team, but they survived... and in the end, as it is always, they found a goal with a good shot... it will be very very hard in Bosnia, now their side is the favourite for reaching Round 3

Skonto Riga (LAT) - Debrecen 2-2 (1-1)
typical EL qualifier... Debrecen could have won the match, but they were just sleeping during the middle of the match... they woke up when it was 2-1 from 0-1 and equalized, what was essential for a relatively easy home game next week

After the promotion, AGF kicks off their Superliga season with a 2-1 victory over eternal rivals Brøndby. Two goals from "the executioner from Tbilisi", Mate Vatsadze.

Miserable performance from Ferencváros. Ferencváros' management paid 50 'security' men who travelled to Bosnia to avoid their real fan group to enter the stadium. Though even the Bosnian people helped the ultras to buy their tickets to the match. Their team, don't know why, showed just lame alibi football without any result, well deserved defeat.

Zeljeznicar Sarajevo (BIH) - Ferencváros 2-0 (1-0), Zeljeznicar is advanced to Round 3 (3-0 on aggregate)

Great performence by Debrecen who played a powerful and effective offensive football, paralyzing their opponent with it.

Debrecen - Skonto Riga (LAT) 9-2 (5-0), Debrecen is advanced to Round 3 (11-4 on aggregate)

Next round:
Debrecen will face Rosenborg Trondheim (NOR)
[ Videoton will face BATE Borisov (BLR) ]

9-2? Nice result.

Here in Denmark, we have lost Randers FC in a defeat to Swedish side Elfsborg. Oh well, they are my least favourite team in the country.

Champions FC Midtjylland will play APOEL Nicosia in the third round of qualifying for Champions' League group stage. It's going to be difficult. 35-65 odds. If they win, they are already secured a place in EL group stage.

Silver medalists FC København will face FK Jablonec from Czech Republic in the EL qualification. They should be able to win it, but only if they step up and play to their level.

Bronze medalists Brøndby will face Omonia Nicosia. Certainly the weaker team from Nicosia. Not sure about Brøndby's chances. But really we should be able to beat these teams from Cyprus.

Next round is when it gets interesting... I hope we'll get some Denmark vs Hungary matches :-)
