For the needle, it's now easy with cas's dashman. Except without zoom it's hard to be précise. Lol

One précision : I don't want to make needle between 0 and 25 because we need mask and it's hard to manage with dashman for the moment.

(...)

I can help you with this needle issue, if you want.

What do you think about this ? I'm proud of it

That looks great!

You can mask it in "dota" ;)

I haven't done much work with the dot other than changing its colour and position, but I think what Zapper means is to use the dota mask to make some of the pixels transparent, making the dot appear smaller.

I think this dashboard is better detailed than in NFS when displayed in "bluried" 320x200 graphics option.

Stunts:                                                                                            NFS:

And the windscreen height is fine for me!

I replace in my MEGA the stdbrt10 by the one made by Zapper. Thanks to him.

Yes. Carefull I change the height of the windscreen on my méga (near the chrono). I spent a lot of time on this dashboard.

Thank you! Ok, I'll try to edit the "ins1" and "ins3" to accomplish that.

Ryoma,

I've managed to use the "ins1" and "ins3" (and their correspondent alpha masks "inm1" and "inm3") to redraw the clocks ("ins2") after steering wheel turning back to center.
I've also corrected the 0-25MPH and 0-2500RPM meter coordinates.

Check the updated files attached and tell me if it is ok to you.

NOTE: Please check if the gear knob image is the lastest version. I could have used an old version of "stdbrt10.vsh".

PS: One thing that is missing on speedometer is the 100MPH mark. As a suggestion, I've made an alternative "ins2" image version with smaller letters and numbers:

Ryoma

Great job Zapper, thanks.

The second ins2 is awesome and I use it.

I updated my MEGA.

Imagine Zapper, you and I at DSI :
"Ok guys, great job, but you spend all the budget of the game on that dashboard. You are fired"

Well. You have a point.
The game can do more than they used.
Like making a open and closed roof version.
Or different color wheels.
DSI didn't use that even though that aint dificult to do.
And those are easy examples.
Edison once said,
"I have not failed 10,000 times,
I've successfully found 10,000 ways that will not work."

Well, this is some original design, since no cars were designed with a dashboard to look like a convertible, and with a dot masked to one single pixel

Unfortunatly, that is the way it works in real world. That's why a craftsman product is more expensive than in series product.

I've note that the speed coordinates from 175MPH to 200HMPH were also missing, so there is and updated res file attached.
