I created some stats for you on today's The Geography of Hungary's countries class. It was done in 20 minutes, sorry for the mistakes or the unreal scores, it is demo version.
Here it is:

* means 10 - just to make it easier to type

- S T P S B C S I
9 * * * * * * 9 * Alan Rotoi 88 / 1.
* * * * 9 9 9 * 8 Argammon 85 / 4.
8 8 9 9 7 7 * 7 9 Akoss Poo 74 / 6.
* 9 * * 9 * * * 9 Bonzai Joe 87 / 2.
2 * * * 9 * 9 * 8 Alain 78 / 5.
7 9 7 8 6 4 6 8 6 Zak 61 / 7.
4 5 4 6 6 4 4 8 5 Mingva 46 / 11.
5 7 5 7 6 4 6 7 5 CTG 52 / 10.
5 7 5 8 6 4 7 5 6 Krys Toff 53 / 9.
? * 6 7 4 5 7 5 ? XDude (44/7)*9=57 / 8.
4 5 3 8 3 5 6 4 6 Usrin 44 / 12.
? * * * 8 8 * * * Roy (76/8)*9=86 / 3.

Tsino and pArAnO are not on the list, because they have less than 7 scores.

Columns:
1: driving without replay handling
2: shortcut finding
3: trick finding
4: power gear skills
5: spinning the car
6: bug jumps
7: corners
8: slow cars, and slow parts (dirt and ice) - I think this is an unique skill
9: IMSA - they are not slow and not power gear

Your opinion *G*
Here is mine: And I think most top drivers don't deserve 9 or 10's everywhere.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9                         without live race
9 * 9 8 * 7 8 7 9 Alan Rotoi  76            67
* 8 9 9 8 8 * 9 6 Argammon 77            67
8 5 8 7 6 7 7 6 9 Akoss Poo  63            55
9 8 8 9 8 * 7 7 9 Bonzai Joe  75            66
3 9 9 9 9 8 7 8 8 Alain  70                    67
8 7 7 7 8 6 6 7 6 Zak  62                     54
3 5 3 5 5 4 4 6 5 Mingva  40                 37
3 6 4 4 4 5 5 6 5 CTG 42                      39
4 8 7 6 7 6 7 7 7 Krys Toff 59               55
5 7 7 5 6 5 5 5 5 XDude 50                  45
4 5 4 7 5 5 5 4 6 Usrin  45                    41
7 * 9 7 9 8 8 9 9 Roy  74                      67

Kinda looks selfish but that's life *g* the underestimated tend to overestimate themselves.
But then again the w/o live race scores look realistic IMO.

<Argammon> I think I was angry about your scores

<akosspoo> i'm not criticizing my scores

<Argammon> so you got worse scores than you deserved

I confess my scores aren't perfect and what I was trying to say was that your unrealistic ;) marks influenced mine on an unconscious basis rather that I gave you bad one's on purpose.

Akoss Poo a.k.a. Zorromeister

... here are the best drivers ever lived with no comments and scores:

<akosspoo> 1 Rotoi 2 Bonzai 3 Roy 4 Argammon 5 Alain 6 pArAnO 7 Tsino 8 Akoss 9 CAP 10 Nailwood 11 Fdzierva 12 Zak 13 XDude 14 Bismarck 15 Inavoeg

Now that you have complained about krys and Zaq's scores on IRC =P

BonzaiJoe

The elite:

Alain, Alan Rotoi, Akoss Poo, Argammon (all those A's), Bonzai Joe, Roy Wiegerinck.

Those are and were the best drivers. I'm not going to try to make any order. I could only do that based on results, in which case Argammon and Akoss Poo would be left far behind in terms of competition wins. But it's not a fair comparision, seeing as Alan Rotoi and myself have driven far more races than the others.
But we can't be quite sure.

al il professore

mmmh

from those, let's define an elitism based on the yearly competitions

three won a championship

one won the hardest in the world, with an incredible streak: alanrotoi

one won the best competition, against the best pipsqueaks ever: Bonzai joe

one won the best competition. Roy Wiegerink

in the past, CAP won a kalpen champ but Mark Nailwood is still the one that won two champs.

so this year will crown a "super" Nailwood, as I will win USC, zakstunts and IRC, three champs altogether.
It is reasonable to expect that genetic influences on traits like IQ should become less important as one gains experiences with age. Surprisingly, the opposite occurs.

Akoss Poo a.k.a. Zorromeister

And I hope I will win Kalpen now. :)

Of course BJ is right in saying that making an order is sensless seeing how mine and akoss order's are screwed up :)

But then again if you would make the whole system not for 'skill' but for success the factors would look very different:

1)Time spend racing per month
2)Skill
3)# of Comps being raced
4)# of Month being raced
5)Quality of Comps raced
6)Live racing

And if you would use these 6 factors while also using akoss system to determine a total it would probably lead to BJ result.

al il professore

we are waiting for an october 2003 rating list... publish one please. I want to know if i am the best.

BonzaiJoe

You're not going to win IRC...

And besides, I'll be winning the B competition at least :D (let me just check if Akoss can catch up though)

And if we calculate skill by monthly wins (which makes just as little sense as calculating it by yearly wins), you are not exactly a super Nailwood :D
But we can't be quite sure.

CTG

Jacky, did you give up USC??? It's a bit better then ACT...  :?

al il professore

hello!

errata:

1. CAP did not win a single CHAMP ever... Kalpen 2001 never ended.
2. Alain is not a super nailwood
3. Alain's racing energy is equivalent to a peta nailwood

BonzaiJoe

I don't see why USC is particularly better than the Secondary competition here?

I didn't give up USC, but I gave up realistically trying to win the championship. I don't have a chance against a strong and hard-racing Alain. I might have been able to keep me lead if I had had some more determination, but I don't.
But we can't be quite sure.
