Competition 2002 / New teams
November 11, 2002, 08:33:53 PM
Foundation of Cork's Crew, Argammon to Orion team... all is against Looping Warriors team  , we have lost our 2nd place  , and we'll lost 3rd place  . 5 member team?! What is this?  If any of these 5 drivers find a trick or shortcut, all 5 drivers will know this, despite not all of them would deserve it. :o  And Argammon is a 1st class driver and 1st class shortcut finder and Alain is a 1st class shortcut finder. :)  Another idea: who wants to create with Usrin and me another 5 member team? :)  Let this war begin!

... I'm interested in this trick, because I'm having problems with this track. There must be another trick.

I just have downloaded it today, and it has a finish line!

Track Design Contest 2002 / 1st Gear
November 09, 2002, 03:37:18 PM
Weak design (2) and a good track (4), so it means a mediocre track, it's 3.

Somehow I liked this track, although it's not a very special one. Let's give a 4.

Good design but a long and boring track, especially with the GTO. That means 3 (a weak 3).

Competition 2003 / Explanation
November 07, 2002, 08:16:29 PM
First I said that if we leave the 2 worst results you'll have 10 first places, if we don't leave them, you'll have 12 next year. But it will never matter you: you'll won. So all is the same for you. So it's not you for who is worthy to argue with Bonzai.
Then I said that relegation won't frighten you and Bonzai, so it's again the same: those people are destined to argue this rule with Zak who can be relegated.
I hope I was clear.

Stunts Questions / What a clever community!
November 07, 2002, 07:23:05 PM
When I was a young child my parents, nannies in the nursery school, teachers in the primary school said that I should test my brain, let's make my IQ. That was becuase I can write since 1985 or 1986 (at the age of 2 or 3), I can count in my head very quickly and they said I'm talented in Maths. (Well, the distance between Maths and me grew with the march of the time, although I had a five school leaving exam.) But I ignored that. Since 1990 I know all of the names in the calendar. But that's all, expect for it don't know anything special. People said that my IQ is arund 160-170 but it's impossible. I think I have about 130-140 which is high but extremely high like Zak's and Bonzai's. So I have to shut up and hide, you are so clever...

Competition 2002 / Mingva's time
November 07, 2002, 06:55:00 PM
Quote from: "CTG"Wow Mingva! Nice time!

Mingva mentioned this on the Orion Home Page.
I want to say to him that CTG is not a good predictor. In May I sent 1:33,10 and he said that was a f*cking good time and in his opinion only Bonzai Joe would beat me. There was a 1:31,40 in my replay box and it was only the 7th place time. :(  The winner was Roy of course with an amazing 1:18.............

But 1:45 really sounds good, grats :D , I'll try the track tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Competition 2003 / Next year
November 07, 2002, 06:46:16 PM
Alan, I don't understand you. Why are you argueing with Bonzai? Isn't it the same if you have 10 or 12 1st places? Again I can't understand you, and I can't understand Bonzai at this point, I can't imagine that you will be in the last two.
People who have a good shortcut finder teammate won't be in trouble, I'm not mentioning names...
Bonzai will win this year I'm sure. :)
And one thing: it would be good and relieving if we fixed Rules 2003 until 31st December 2002. That means no change until the end of next year. :D

Emancipation must die!

CTG, I think you overcomplicate that team question. Just select the pilot who looks the fastest and wants to be your teammate. :D

Chat - Misc / Akoss Poo
November 07, 2002, 06:29:15 PM
Well, I think it's time to tell ya why I am Akoss Poo.
But first I want to say that 'Bonzai Joe' really sounds cool and it's the best name there because it's original, no more Bonzai Joes on the world, it's the result of your own fantasy. But 'Alan Rotoi' and 'Sneller dan Ben' also sounds cool. :D
Well, my first name is '?kos' and in 1997 when I played Network Q Rally (it is an excellent computer game) I started to write my name onto the scoreboard 'Akoos' because 'Akos' sounded too simple.
A friend of mine is called 'Gunnar' or just shortly 'Gu', another is called 'B?l?' or just 'Bu'. A third friend of mine was started to give such names to us in 1998, he said let me be 'Pu'. Well, I didn't liked it, but he and Gu did, and my sister especially, so I got used to this name. But I said let it be written with two 'o'-s, so it became 'Poo'. It was in 1998. I started to use the two names together: 'Akoos Poo'. (In 1999 we formed a gang - it is rather a group of friends, not gangsta people, but we call it a gang - and the members are: Gu, Loo, Bu and Poo... well, we weren't and aren't proud of these names but we sometimes use it.)
In March 2000 I started to take part in Stunts competitions as 'Akoos Poo'. It can be seen on the site of the Swedish Stunts Championship, which is reachable from the Meganium site.
In April 2000 I started to be bored with 'Akoos' and I changed it to 'Akoss'. And the final form of my name was born: 'Akoss Poo'. It's a little bit complicated, but there was no other (shorter) way to tell you these. :?
We are still seeking for the origin of the others' name.

Policemen, gypsies, keep on killing each other!!!

Stunts Questions / Professor Bonzai Joe
November 07, 2002, 06:01:42 PM
CTG, didn't you know that Bonzai Joe has a 162 IQ??? It was in his personal bio in the old forum. He's a genius, not only at Stunts. So we must respect him...

WHO IS RUMCI???
