Stunts Forum & Portal / INSANE REPLAYS
January 07, 2006, 03:07:53 PM
I think we should try to make a collection of the maddest, wildest replays the community has made. And I don't mean the most insanely good replays, but the ones with the craziest Stunts, the most spectacular crashes and such. Please send in your Insane replays here, and we can compile the very most mad :-)

I have attached the 7 most insane replays I have saved.  Some of them are not that insane, so I hope for some support from the rest of you.

Stunts Chat / Praise Thread
September 25, 2005, 05:43:37 PM
I adore Zak McKracken for his beautiful handling of Zakstunts and the community, for his ability to spread good vibrations and good humour everywhere, and keeping the Stunts community alive for years.

I admire Alain Le Proffessore for his incredible racing skills, accurate and sharp like a flying razor blade, and for his incredible determination.

I admire Akoss Poo for his honesty, creative activity, hardcore racing skills, and his P?linka. And also his poetic skills, showed often at Stunts meetings :-)

I like CTG because he is friendly and humorous, full of ideas, and a strong team-mate. And also for the great Unskilledstunts, and all his nice interviewing.

I adore JTK for his super track-designing skills, and also for his ability to lift a World Stunts Meeting through the roof and to the skies  :-)

I like Alan Rotoi because he is very friendly and sincere, and has always been a main contributor to the Stunts community, and of course for his fantastic and unique racing skills - I loved all our battles in 2002 and 2003.

I like Leo Ramone for his spontaneousness, his craziness and ability to twist everything around and look at it from different points of view. And of course for giving us StuntsLOL

I admire KrysTOFF for his track-design skills, his competitions, and most of all for his ability to be verbally a violent Skid Vicious, and yet always be a fair and sincere pipsqueak with good replays.

I like Diesel Joe for his driving skills both in real life and Stunts  :-) and for his ability to make Stunts meetings great, always being extremely nice and pleasant.

I adore Chulk for his will to become part of this sometimes strange and unkind community, and for his brave and talented racing.

And to all those not mentioned here: I also love you, and very much enjoy both racing with you and being in this community with you :smt039

This thread is for you all, to say how much you love your fellow Stunts pipsqueaks ! ! Have a great day, my friends in Europe and South America.

Chat - Misc / FLAMEWAR: CTG vs Alan Rotoi
September 21, 2005, 10:28:28 PM
Two of the community's oldest and most beloved members, CTG and Alan Rotoi, also former teammates, have decided to pick a fight. So here's a thread for it, that's much easier than spreading it across the whole forum like we have seen in some other flamewars. I hope you will quickly get through all of the insults and bitching, so you can be friends again and the forum can be in peace again.

Take it away CTG and Alan Rotoi!

Chat - Misc / Dream with Stunts pipsqueaks
September 01, 2005, 12:38:50 PM
I had a strange dream last night, but only remember a bit of it: I am sitting at a long table with many Stunts pipsqueaks, I am sitting at one end, Zak at the other end. Beside me: Akoss, beside him: Usrin. Akoss is reading a newspaper:

Akoss: Hey look Usrin, there's a guy named Peter Uhrin here, do you know him?

Usrin: He's a really big hockey player. REALLY big, I mean, REALLY REALLY big.

Akoss and Usrin start talking in Hungarian, and I say: "Kurva anyad baszd meg", and everyone laughs violently, especially Zak, who nearly falls off his chair.

Then Akoss adds philosophically: "Your mother the bastard..."

Don't ask....

Sleeping bags: Bring one if it's easy for you, or if you like to sleep in a bag. We have extra bedclothes, and it should be possible to provide something to sleep in for everyone, so it's your own decision if you want to bring a sleeping bag. (but don't bring a bag that's awake!)

Go-Kart: I think it's unlikely that we can get a discount. As far as I can see, the easiest would be to talk about this when everyone has arrived, so we can arrange when to do it, if we're going to.

About the computers Aignur will bring, we don't quite know how to transport them except by car, and as I don't have a car available, and Aignur doesn't have a license, it would be good if we could borrow one of the cars that comes to the meeting? But maybe we will have solved the problem somehow before.

P?linka: Just to remind Akoss that it's very important he brings some of this  :D

Weather: It's going to be rainy on Friday and Saturday it seems  :( But relatively warm (20-26 degrees by day, 10-17 by night).

I will have a talk with Dinmor tonight, and we'll find out about some more things, but I think there are no big problems, and it will be great to see you all! Is anyone in doubt about how to get here? Just take the exit called "?rhus S" (it's a motorway fork really), and then continue straightforward. The motorway then ends after about 15 km, and you come to the first traffic lights. At the FIFTH traffic lights, go right. Then my house is the second one on the right (red bricks) after the first small crossing road.  Number 52. Should not be so hard! :D

Stunts Chat / Magic replay
December 14, 2004, 12:36:14 PM
There are not many who know it, but I am actually a Stunts magician, I can perform magic spells that allow me to go directly through tall buildings and fuel stations. I also know a trick that allows my car to stand up and look into the sky. I won't say the secret, but this replay shows my incredible magic power!

Competition 2004 / Send me your replays for analysis!
December 08, 2004, 02:32:10 PM
Due to the loss of all ZCT41-ZCT44 replays from Zak's hard disk, I ask everyone to send their replays from these tracks to me at "JackyVSO@hotmail.com". This is very important for me in order to make the missing analysises from these tracks. If you were in the top-3, don't bother, I have those replays, but please send all your non-top3 replays from ZCTs 41,42,43 and 44 to me as soon as possible.

Thank you!

World Stunts Meeting 2004 / Who's coming?
June 11, 2004, 03:52:25 PM
Let's make a definite list of those who will show up at the meeting in August. I hope it will be many of you. Remember this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make an international, I daresay miraculous Stunts event. So far, the ones I am pretty sure are coming are:

Zak (:D)
CTG
Akoss Poo
Bonzai Joe
JTK
KHR
Usrin

Please add your name to this list!

Has any of you hungarians heard of IM Gyula Feher? I just beat him at chess.

I am and have always been a big fan of leading time, as it secures that the race is alive during the whole month, and not just on the last day. But there is also a bad side of the LTB. It makes top drivers race their best in the beginning of the month, thereby making the top times on the scoreboard seem totally impossible and out of reach for newbies, thereby discouraging them to drive. I remember when I race the Kalpen competition in 2001, I was very excited because I could fight for the first place in the whole first half of the month, although I would end up 4th or 5th. So maybe an idea is to start leading time calculation 10 or 14 days into the month, so the scoreboard won't have to be completely unbelievable from the start.

Competition 2004 / Points system, before it's too late
January 12, 2004, 10:32:39 AM
When two pipsqueaks have the same time, like on the scoreboard now, they must not both get 11 points, but instead (11+8) / 2 = 9.5 points. Otherwise more points are put into the system, which is unfair for everyone above AND below the two drivers. With a points system like this, it is best for team mates if they have exactly the same time. Then they earn more points than if one if them had a better time, it makes no sense at all.

Competition 2003 / Late congratulations
January 06, 2004, 08:45:53 PM
To Alain

Not for being my favourite driver this year
Not for necessarily being the most fair driver this year
But for being clearly the best driver through 2003, and deserving this prestigeous title!

CONGRATULATIONS!

It could be cool with a Stunts trophy...

2001: Roy Wiegerinck
2002: Bonzai Joe
2003: Alain

This is becoming a historical competition - let's keep it on fire

We now, finally, have more members than the old forum. But I somehow feel that the forum is being carried by about 10 members, who post about 90% of the posts :D...

Wow, this is one of the best tracks I've ever seen... very good for the Jaguar. This is real Stunts! And Akoss' time is unbelievable... I will come close to it, but I will not beat it, I can't see how to. Race on this track if you haven't already, it rules!

Chat - Misc / The problem with Stunts and women
September 29, 2003, 10:33:46 PM
In the near future, I cannot promise you that I will not quit playing Stunts. At least I can't promise you that I won't quite playing Stunts at a reasonable level and with any motivation. This is because of the girl. It seems more possible than ever that I will actually get her, but still, of course, this is just speculation.
We lost Roy Wiegerinck to a girl, and in the beginning I just couldn't understand it. Why could he not just continue playing Stunts even though he had a girlfriend? Zak did that, Alan Rotoi did that, Krys and JTK are married...
But now I have fully understood his decision to quit racing. He played Stunts for the same reason I play Stunts: to be the best in the world. Tired of being maybe in the best 10% of the world at some other things, we turn to Stunts to find something at which we are at the absolute elite. It makes us feel better, and gives us some status. Perhaps it's a very masculine tendency.
But if I had her... if she was mine, I could not care less if I am the best at Stunts, because I am the best in her eyes, and that is all that I could ever give a damn about. It would be like I had already won all races before they started, just because I could hold her hand in mine.
The difference for Zak, JTK, Krys Toff, Alan Rotoi is that you play Stunts because you like it and you think it's a fun game. I don't, I definitely don't. Though I do think it's a great game of course.

I hope now you understand why I almost (but only almost) hope I've raced my last race this saturday.

Stunts Chat / The weirdest dream...
August 25, 2003, 10:03:18 AM
I dreamt I was travelling on a train with either Akoss Poo or Alan Rotoi (just don't remember which...), and we met Thijs Wiegerinck. Yes Thijs, not Roy... he was a little 8-year old boy with glasses, who was wearing a cap, and he didn't say anything, but I was shocked to suddenly meet him there...
