The guy in the car was lucky (and the pilot brave).

Everybody was afraid when I flew with Malaysian last year. It seems small airlines are by far more dangerous.

Brave pilot? Dunno, but I assume that he had no influence on the place of impact. Most likely he lost the whole control over the plane in the last few seconds after stalling.

Maybe you are right. I don't know where's the point of losing the control. And maybe he did not see the building (only suspecting?), as the nose of the airplane is facing a bit upwards.

I won't ever try ATR planes.
