Yes : here I am. ;D

Queen - Gimme the prize (Highlander (1st one) original soundtrack)

Here I am,
I'm the master of your destiny,
I am the one, the only one,
I am the God of kingdom come,
Gimme the prize, just gimme the prize,

Give me your kings,
Let me squeenze them in my hands,
Your puny princes,
Your so-called leaders of your land,
I'll eat them whole before I'm done,
The battle's fought and the game is won,

I am the only one,
I am the God of kingdom come,
Gimme the prize, just gimme the prize,

Move over, I said move over,
Hey, hey, hey clear the way,
There's no escape from my authority - I tell you -

I am the one, the only one,
I am the God of kingdom come,
Gimme the prize, just gimme the prize,

I am the only one,
I am the God of kingdom come,
Gimme the prize !

(backing vocal) There can be only one !

English or French. ;D I don't know Spanish or German enough to answer song requests.

Quote from: JTKcold and lonely
You want a song with the words together or a song for "cold" and another song for "lonely" ?

If together => Stone Roses - Made of stone

Your knuckles whiten on the wheel
The last thing that your hands will feel
Your final flight cant be delayed

No earth, just sky its so surreal
Your pink fat lips let go a scream
You fry and melt I love the scene

Sometimes I fantasise
When the streets are cold and lonely
And the cars they burn below me
Dont these times fill your eyes

When the streets are cold and lonely
And the cars they burn below me
Are you all alone
Is anybody home ?

Im standing warm against the cold
Now that the flames have taken hold
At least you left your life in style

And for far as I can see
Ten twisted grills grin back at me
Bad money dies I love the scene

Sometimes I fantasise
When the streets are cold and lonely
And the cars they burn below me
Dont these times fill your eyes

When the streets are cold and lonely
And the cars they burn below me
Are you all alone
Is anybody home ?

Sometimes I fantasise
When the streets are cold and lonely
And the cars they burn below me
Dont these times fill your eyes

When the streets are cold and lonely
And the cars they burn below me
Are you all alone
Are you made of stone ?

If separated => lonely => Bakers Pink - Lonely, lonely, lonely (they made only 1 album, but it's one of the best "classic" rock/pop rock I've ever heard. Songs like "Burn out", "Untouched" or "The noose, the flesh and the devil" are really classics for me.)

God nothing grows
In these fields
Seems the land's gone rotten
Lady Blue
Tell me what to do
you've been forgotten

And you're
Lonely, lonely, lonely
You come and lay you head on me, yeah
When you're
Lonely, lonely, lonely
Baby you're lonely
Just like me

You'd wait what seems forever
Your pride gone long ago
Your smile, just a prop
To hide the years
The years begin to show, yeah

And you're
Lonely, lonely, lonely
You come and lay you head on me, yeah
When you're
Lonely, lonely, lonely
Maybe you're lonely
Just like me
Maybe you're lonely
Just like me, yeah

You take what you are given
Works out even just the same, yes it does, yes it does now
The past is still in front of you
And tell me, tell me who's to blame, blame, blame

When you're
Lonely, lonely, lonely, yeah
You come and lay you head on me, yeah
When you're
Lonely, lonely, lonely
Maybe you're lonely
Just like me
Maybe you're lonely
Just like me

So Goddamn lonely, So Goddamn lonely

If separated => cold => Cinderella - Long cold winter

I've been down
I've been cryin' in the dead of night
I've been tryin', I've been tryin'
To find the time to make it right
It's gonna be a long cold winter
Long cold winter without your love

I've been walkin
I've been freezin
Freezin' from a love I left behind
I've been searchin', I've been searchin'
Can't find my peace of mind
It's gonna be a long cold winter
Long cold winter without your love

I've been down ooo, I've been down yeah
Baby baby baby ooo I'm freezin'
I'm freezin', I'm freezin', I'm cold
So so so cold
It's gonna be a long cold winter
Long cold winter without your love, yeah

O.k., o.k. - another word for Krys: STUNTS!  ;D
Well, "Cunning Stunts" is the first thing that come to my mind but it's not a song, it's the name of a video by Metallica.
Then, I thought of "Stunt" album by Barenaked Ladies. Again, just the album name, not a song.

So I had to think more about it, search a few intop rock history and I found this song by Golden Earring. You don't know this band ? Damn, they are even older rock band than Rolling Stones because Rolling Stones started in 1962 while Golden Earring started in 1961 !

Golden Earring - Burning Stuntman (music style is rock of the 60's-70's)

Specialize in danger, I'm from Niagara Falls
And now I sit here waitin'
Like an idiot for your call
Words cannot explain
That rattlesnake in my bones
Guess it's time to face the truth
I stand here licked by love
And in the name of love

I wanna go go go, like a burning stuntman (x4)

I fry exposed to fire of course
Choke up while I'm breathin' smoke
Come on quench the fire inside my soul
I wanna go go go

Slumberin' volcano , about to explode
Puttin' on a smile and then
You're takin' off your clothes
Words cannot explain
My heart's red pepper blue
And my blood goes boilin'
Every time I look at you
I'm in danger, how about you

I wanna go go go, like a burning stuntman (x4)

You fry exposed to fire of course
Like a flame whisperin' to a moth
Come on quench the fire inside my heart

I wanna go go go
Like a burning stuntman
Like a burning stuntman........

Easy, and with CTG spirit : South Park - Beer song

Oh,
What is the malted liquer?
What gets you drunker quicker?
What comes in bottles or in cans? (beer)
Can't get enough of it, (beer)
How we really love it, (beer)
Makes me think I'm a man, (beer)
I can kiss and hug it, (beer)
But I'd rather chug it, (beer)
Got my belly up to here, (beer)
I could not refuse a, (beer)
I could really use a,
Beer, beer, beer.

Beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer, beer.

I can't remember how much I have had,
I drank a twelve pack with my dad, (belch)
That's my son the drunken manly stud,
I'm proud to be his bud,
Here have some pretzels,
No!
I'll call it quits,
Those things give me the schlits.

Drink with your family,
Drink it with your friends,
Drink till you're fat,
Stomach distends,
Beer is liquid bread it's good for you,
We like to drink till we spew,
OOH
Who cares if we get fat,
I'll drink to that,
As we sing once more.

What is the malted liquer,
What gets you drunker quicker,

How we really love it, (beer)

Got my belly up to here, (beer)
Only I adore it, (beer)

Prince - Get off (club mix)

How can I put this in a way so as not to offend or unnerve
There's a rumor goin' all round that u ain't been gettin' served
They say that u ain't u know what
In baby who knows how long
It's hard 4 me 2 say what's right
When all I wanna do is wrong

Get off - 23 positions in a 1 night stand
Get off - I'll only call u after if u say I can
Get off - let a woman be a woman and a man be a man
Get off - I u want 2 baby here I am (here I am)

I clocked the jizz from a friend
Of yours named vanessa bet (bet)
She said u told her a fantasy
That got her all wet (wet)
Something about a little box with a
Mirror and a tongue inside
What she told me then got me so hot
I knew that we could slide

Get off - 23 positions in a 1 night stand
Get off - I'll only call u after if u say I can
Get off - let a woman be a woman and a man be a man
Get off - I u want 2 baby here I am (here I am)

Get off (get off)

1 2 3 - nah, little cutie, I ain't drinkin' (get off)
Scope this, I was just thinkin'
U + me, mmm, what a ride
If u was thinkin' the same
We could continue outside (get off)
Lay your pretty body against a parkin' meter
Strip your dress down
Like I was strippin' a peter paul's almond joy
Lemme show u baby Im a talented boy

Everybody grab a body
Pump it like u want somebody

Get off (get off)

So here we-so here we-so here we are, here we are (g-g-get off)
In my paisley crib
Whatcha want 2 eat? ribs
Ha, toy, I don't serve ribs...
U better be happy that dress is still on
I heard the rip when u sat down

Honey them hips is gone
That's alright, I clock 'em that way
Remind me of somethin' james used to say...

I like 'em fat
I like 'em proud
Ya gotta have a mother for me
Now move your big ass round this way
So I can work on that zipper, baby

Tonight, your a star
And I'm the big dipper

(kick it)

(get off)

(get off)

How can I put this in a way so as not to offend or unnerve (get off)
There's a rumor goin' all round that u ain't been gettin' served (get off)
They say that u ain't u know what
In baby who knows how long (get off)
It's hard 4 me 2 say whats right

Get off - I'll only call u after if u say I can

10.Krys TOFF - Mr.Toff, can you give me a song with the word "Indy"?
Sure, I expected such a request (as for "stunts" request too. ;D)

Lee Henderson - Wholesome Undy (this guy seems a specialist of "car songs", check there (http://www.millenniumartgallery.com/cream/content/hendersonlyrics6.6.htm))

Hey, Vancouver, in one week
A road-rage orgy in False Creek.
The Molson Indy in our town
Roaring squealing round and round.
Indy No, Undy Yes. The Wholesome Undy is the best.

The Wholesome Undy is so cool;
Organic produce is the fuel.
The Wholesome Undy smells like folks
And no un-wholesome race car smoke.
Indy No, Undy Yes. The Wholesome Undy is the best.

The Wholesome Undy sounds so sweet,
A pedal chorus in your street.
The Wholesome Undy sings along
A little traffic calming song.
Indy No, Undy Yes. The Wholesome Undy is the best.

The Wholesome Undy looks so bright.
The Undy folks can travel light.
The Wholesome Undy looks so smart
With pedal power, life and art.
Indy No, Undy Yes. The Wholesome Undy is the best.

Gaunch is wholesome, ginch is cute
And so's a cyclist's birthday suit.
A teddy's sexy, a thong is hot,
Long Johns cover up a lot.
Indy No, Undy Yes. The Wholesome Undy is the best.

Got it !
On the 1st album of No doubt, there's a song about food, and pineapple juice is listed :

No Doubt - A little something refreshing

Yeah
I'm hungry
I'm starving
I want some food for my tummy

I want some
pizza coke and ice cream
popcorn cotton candy
marshmallows milkshake and peanuts
would be so great
pies chips candy apples
twinkies frosted flakes
donuts french fries
and some chocolate cake with mustard
cookies avocados pancakes
pineapple juice
whipped cream on some raw meat
that's not all i could eat

I'm hungry
I'm starving
I want some food for my tum...

I want some
honey roasted walnuts
pepperoni slices
pasta and burritos
different kinds of rices
cherries dipped in chocolate
cottage cheese and jelly
colonel sander's chicken
still won't fill my belly
broccoli sticky syrup
churros dipped in sauce
drippy sloppy joes

Then i'm full at last
ahhh ahhh
I'm full at last
Burp.

Easy. Here is a song about a guy who drinks, who stinks, ... ;D

Ugly Kid Joe - Neighbour

Sittin?in your front yard , drinkin' lemonade
Suburban life, a pretty wife
you think you?ve got it made
But U don?t know what?s in the store,
for U and your family
I?m movin?in, right next door, won?t U welcome me?

It?s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood
And I hope I didn?t ruin your day
Won?t U be my neighbour ?

I brought my life, my ugly wife,
my dirty dog with fleas
My kid?s a punk, and I?m drunk,
This I?m sure you?ll see
Yeah U don?t know what it?s like, to live in misery
Welcome to, home sweet hell
dissatisfaction guaranteed

It?s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood
And if I could i surely would
Invite you in say
Won?t U be my neighbour ?
Won?t U be my neighbour ?
Won?t U be my neighbour ?
Won?t U be my neighbour ?

C?mon I don?t think U?ll find
A place to live peace of mind
You?re gonna live in misery
When U?re livin?next to me!

It?s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood.......
Raaaah! Won?t U be my... Won?t U be my fuckin' neighbour?!

Well i drink... And I stink.
I smoke... Yeah I?m a joke !
I try all night and day to get a piece of the action, a--aaa!

Now I know just what are U?re thinkin'
It could be U out?n? U?re drinkin'
So don?t U knock it until U try it
It could be U in a little while !
I hope I didn?t ruin your day !

It?s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood
I dig your wife, she sure is good
It?s a beautiful day in the neighbourhood... Ha,ha !

Wheeeee... another idea: masturbation (dedicated to the jerk-off master, Akoss Poo :P)
Lol ! The easiest word proposed by you so far. I don't even have to search, the answer is obvious for me.

Therapy? - Femtex

Masturbation saved my life
I was nervous as a child
You were someone out of my hand
Couldn't understand or have

She's not trying to catch your eye
She's just trying to get a life
He feels weak when she is strong
Feeling threatened when he's wrong

Femination generation
Femination generation

Do you want a skid?
Do you want a friend?
Do you want sex?
Do you want revenge?
You never make love with a smile on your face
Punished with love and rewarded with hate

Femination generation
Femination generation

Femination generation
Femination generation

Femination (I'm just with you, that will never mean that I'm just for you)
Generation (I'm just with you, that will never mean that I'm just for you)

Nop, and I was kinda expecting that. The one I have in mind doesn't actually say "masturbation" (so I don't know if it is valid), but is obviously about it. Do you want to hear it? :P

So it's the occasion for me to let you discover Graham Parker. English artist in Bob Dylan's spirit, but much less known sadly. His best album (in my opinion) : The real Macaw (1983) with songs like "You can't take love for granted".

Graham Parker - You got to be kidding

Hey hey yeah la la la la
Oh oh la la la la la la la la la la la la

You got to be kidding when you say your line is cast
You got to be kidding when you say that this will last.
You got to be putting me on you got to be stringing me along
You got to be kidding any way to feel you belong.

You got to be joking when you shrug off any doubt.
You got to be joking telling me you have worked this out.
You got to be building a wall inside that endless empty hall
You got to be joking anyway to be here at all
Yeah you got to be kidding.

You got to be kidding baby and there ain't no doubt
Fooling yeah when the truth comes out.
Hoaxing honey and it just ain't fair
Playing baby when there's no one there oh yeah

You got to be kidding putting prices on yourself
You got to be kidding telling me there's no one else.
You got to be putting me on you got to be stringing me alone
You got to be kidding anyway to feel you belong yeah.

You got to be building a wall inside that endless empty hall
You got to be kidding anyway to be here at all yeah
You got to be kidding hmm you got to be kidding yeah
You got to be kidding.

ALL BY MYSELF
Album: Dookie (hidden track)
Written by Billie Joe Armstrong
Performed by Tre Cool

I was alone
I was all by myself
No one was looking.....
I was thinking of you
Oh yeah, did I mention.....
I was all by myself
All by myself...
All by myself...
All by myself...

I went to your house
But no one was there
I went to your room
I was all by myself
You and me had
Such wonderful times
When I'm all by myself
All by myself
All by myself
All by myself

Well, "diversification" is a word very rarely used in songs it seems.
I remembered nothing I knew so I searched on the web and found this song with the word "diversification" :

KMFDM (Kein Mehrheit Fur Die Mitleid) - That's All

Read the vision map the system soon to look into the mind
Rediscover one another from abnormal points in time
Fascination wish a way in to depart before they find
Get defamed in isolation two plus one negate divine

Feed the vicious escalation never felt such close connection
Feel the fever-patch persuasion
News-print news-peak nevermind
Suffocation and delusion from what angle see the truth in
At an angle point of friction free-fall tip-off destiny

I've got a fistful of money I'm down with a twist
There's plenty of ways no way to resist
Every little thing is gonna be fine
What I like is gonna be mine
I've got a fistful of money I'm high at risk
There's plenty of ways I couldn't resist
6 billion souls And one urge to live
I've got a fistful of money and nothing to give

Free the hostage situation taken as a simulation
Never was a war more real taken for a dollar bill
Currency add more corruption added population problem
Feeding hunger starve the weak
News-print news-peak nevermind

Hate in desert in good favor
Diversification of the current flavor
Speak in tongues like empathy's son
See the soul disengaging the sicker they come

That's all...

I didn't know this band at all. It's a German industrial-metal band originally founded in Paris in 1984.
Some live videos are available at youtube for you to discover them.

Well, I was wrong !

Original sentence "alizarine sulphonic acid"
=> its sodium salt is "alizarine sodium monosulfonate"
=> this is a chemical colour, also named "alizarine carmin", or "alizarine red S" (more info (http://www.chemexper.com/index.shtml?main=http://www.chemexper.com/search/cas/130-22-3.html))
=> this colour is called "carmin", but it's not like the natural carmin E 120 allowed in food industry (I work in food industry, remember ?)
=> so, if this colour is not allowed (in food industry), it is a forbidden colour
=> David Sylvian - Forbidden colours (song of the soundtrack of the movie "Furyo" with David Bowie)

The wounds on your hands never seem to heal
I thought all I needed was to believe

Here am I, a lifetime away from you
The blood of Christ, or the beat of my heart
My love wears forbidden colours
My life believes

Sensless years thunder by
Millions are willing to give their lives free
Does nothing live on?

Learing to cope with feelings aroused in me
My hands in the soil, buried inside of myself

My love wears forbidden colours
My life believes in you once again

I'll go walking in circles
While doubting the very ground beneath me
Trying to show unquestioning faith in everyone

Here am I, a lifetime away from you
The blood of Christ, or a change of heart

My love wears forbidden colours
My life believes

My love wears forbidden colours
My life believes in you once again

;D After that, never ever say I can't quote a song starting with any word, even such a stupid sentence as "alizarine sulphonic acid" !!! ;D

UGLY KID JOE - Everything about you

(child voice) Are you the guys on the beach who hate everything ? eww
Is this some sort of hip music that I don't understand ? (end of child voice)

I, hate the rain and sunny weather,
And I, hate the beach and mountains too !
(and) I don't like a thing about the city, no, no...
And I, I, I, hate the countryside too !

Semi-chorus
And i, hate everything about you !
... everything about you !

I, dont like a thing about your mother,
And I, hate your daddy's guts too !
I, dont like a thing about your sister,
cause I, I, I, think sex is overrated too !

Chorus
And i, get sick when I'm around,
I, can't stand to be around,
I, hate everything about you !
Everything about you,
Everything about you,
Everything about you !

Some say I got a bad attitude,
But that don't change the way I feel about you,
And if you think this thought might bring me down,
Look again cause I ain't wearin' no frown !

I don't really care about your sister
Forget the little Helen, cause I already kissed her

One thing that I did to your lady
I put her on the bed and she didn't even say "maybe"
I know, you know, everybody knows
The way it comes, the way it's gonna go
You think its sad,
And that's too bad,
cause I'm havin'
A ball hatin'
Every little thing about you ! Ah ah !

Everything about you, everything about...
I, get sick when I'm around
I, can't stand to be around
I, hate everything about... You! He he...

It was easier than expected finally : "will you marry me" is a proposal, isn't it ?
Words "not" (same as "no") and "new" have been glowed in the lyrics. ;)

No Doubt - Marry me

I can't help that I like to be kissed
And I wouldn't mind if my name changed to Mrs.
This is one side, my conventional side
An attraction to tradition
My vintage disposition
My sincere architecture
And I want to cook him dinner
But I'm more indecisive than ever
And who believes in forever?

Who will be the one to marry me?

A girl in the world barking up the wrong tree
A creature conditioned to employ matrimony
Crumbling continuity, I pick up the pieces
The ceremony makes me zealous
As the past quickly ceases
Fear from being neutered
I'm now prude, now defensive
Quickly I'm altered and tempted by new love only rented

Do you believe you'll marry me?
You might be the one to marry me

Back, looking back, looking back at me
I'm not how I used to be
Take me back, take me back into history
Diamond ring, tie me down just like it used to be

Who will be the one to marry me?
Who will be the one to marry me?

Sing me a song about Charon! :)
Title: Re: Tell a word and Mr T?ff will quote a song
Post by: Krys TOFF on April 26, 2007, 05:33:52 PM
Who is Charon ? In the Greek/Roman mythology this is an old man who made souls of dead people cross the Styx river to join the Kingdom of the Dead. Those who couldn't pay the cross had to spend 100 years before crossing the Styx river and find peace.

Only a few living people managed to cross the Styx river with Charon. Orpheus did, in order to bring back Eurydice from the dead. He almost made it but finally failed. Anyway, Orpheus managed to cross the river twice (go in and go out) while still alive.

A false planet close to Pluton was named from this legendary character.

The choice is really easy : Scorpions made a song about it in their early years (when Uli Jon Roth was still guitarist).

SCORPIONS - The sail of Charon

Dark night, there is no light
In the realm of the black magic man
Soul's flight into the cold blight
Of the destroyer's magic land

Poor man, whose spirits are stronger
They're the ones who will reign
You're struggles are in vain

Blind man, you're suckin' your own blood
Soon black magic's dying
You'd better start crying
Blind man, you're suckin' your own blood
Soon black magic's dying
You'd better start crying

Throw out your evil desire
The dark king's kingdom is
Made out of mire

Throw out your evil desire
The dark king's kingdom is
Made out of mire

Keep on for the kingdom of light
There is no darkness, there is no night

I hope you didn't mind Pierre Charron (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Charron) CTG. :D

A song appropriated to the new SDR track "X-Change" (for the switches) and to the current elections for new president in France.

Senser - Switch

Well you better step to any shit we're feedin' ya,
'cause you know we ain't needin' ya. Expendable?
You're about to get it.

(Don't fall too deep down, don't fall)

I'm coming back, coming back
from the funky funky bass stack
what you see is what you get
and all I know is what I jack
shake your money maker,
shake your money maker maker now
give me a couple of minutes
and I'll show you all exactly how

Soon there won't be no money to make,
no lies to fake.
If you can't set it straight
well then you can't relate
the lies you swallow
to rules you follow
the words so hollow
so see you tomorrow
full of sorrow.

You're gonna say how did it ever get this far
when all I ever wanted was a house and a car.
Now Moma's in the backroom serving up rocks,
Daddy's in Wandsworth sitting in a box. [[3.1]]
Listen to the click of the steel as it locks.
The real enemies are in the corporate office blocks.

so 1 2, 3 to 2, 3 to 2, 1
the wheels are set in motion and the job's getting done.

Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
So step to me when it hits ya
Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
Come to put ya in the picture
Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
So step to me when it hits ya
Time to make the switch, make a switch y'all
Come to put ya in the picture now.

Breaking 'em, breaking 'em down
breaking our people down.
Our leader's a clown, [[3.2]
he's trying to swim but he's gonna drown
so hear the sound.

Time to disarm,
this ain't no false alarm doing harm.
guns dance into a death-trance
like a snake charm.
One after another they stand on the corner
but I won't pack a gat just like that
'cause I don't wanna
be part of the problem,
think the solution, words of revolution
to me are still sonic pollution.
Tried to make me out to be
something I never was
never would be because
reality over us
hangs like a black cloud, sickens,
and when you stare for a second you're stricken
you cry man, the signs are simple and plain
so play it again
drifting in the last domain.
When all the gun-talk shit
that you wrote it don't float
it sinks to the bottom like a fucked up boat.
And me and my posse we got a spirit
and no soft puppet can ever put a limit in it

So 1 2, 3 to 2, 3 to 2, 1
The wheels are still in motion and the job's getting done.

Pump, pump it up, y'all

Rudolf Hess... One thing comes to my mind : Joy Division made a song in which they tell the numbers he had as a prisoner after the WW2.

Joy Division - Warsaw (the song I talked about in my previous post, I didn't remember the name but found it back quickly)

3, 5, 0, 1, 2, 5, Go!

I was there in the back stage,
When first light came around.
I grew up like a changeling,
To win the first time around.
I can see all the weakness.
I can pick all the faults.
Well I concede all the faith tests,
Just to stick in your throats.

31G, 31G, 31G

I hung around in your soundtrack,
To mirror all that you've done,
To find the right side of reason,
To kill the three lies for one,
I can see all the cold facts.
I can see through your eyes.
All this talk made no contact.
No matter how hard we tried.

31G, 31G, 31G

I can still hear the footsteps.
I can see only walls.
I slid into your man-traps,

With no hearing at all.
I just see contradiction,
Had to give up the fight,
Just to live in the past tense,
To make believe you were right.

31G, 31G, 31G

3, 5, 0, 1, 2, 5

350125-31G is Rudolf Hess number as a prisoner.

There's also a song named "Rudolf Hess" in Swedish language from band Pluton Svea. I won't publish here the lyrics as I don't understand what is said in this song. It seems this Swedish band has/had numerous songs talking about nazis and I don't want to take the risk to post here a neo-nazi song.

Sorry, I didn't found the Hungarian song you talked about CTG...

Ooops ! I forgot to search a song about rally (damn, too bad Loeb had to give up in the last day of Italian rally while he was leading by more than 30 seconds before Gronholm).

Anyway, here are full lyrics I quoted in Gyongyos track (USC) topic :

Tom Petty - Learning to fly

Well I started out down a dirty road
Started out all alone
And the sun went down as I crossed the hill
The town lit up the world got still

I'm learning to fly
But I ain't got wings
Coming down
Is the hardest thing

Well the good old days may not return
And the rocks might melt, and the sea may burn

I'm learning to fly
But I ain't got wings
Coming down
Is the hardest thing

Well, some say life will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So I started out for God knows where
But I guess I'll know when I get there

I'm learning to fly
Around the clouds
But what goes up
Must come down

I'm learning to fly
But I ain't got wings
Coming down
Is the hardest thing

I'm learning to fly
Around the clouds
But what goes up
Must come down

I'm learning to fly
I'm learning to fly

WEIRD "AL" YANKOVIC (you know, the guy making parodies of M. Jackson, Madonna, Nirvana, ...) - Take Me Down

Someday I'm gonna pack up
And then I'm goin' back up
To that place where sentimental feelings arouse

Where the grass is so green
And the air is so clean
That when the wind is right you can even smell the cows

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
Where time shifts into neutral
And idles away

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
I've got to get back
To that city today

If you're new in town
Then you'll wanna look around
But you don't know where to begin
Well, there's Bubble Gum Alley
And the local car rally
Not to mention the toilets at Madonna Inn

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
Where time shifts into neutral
And idles away

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
I've got to get back
To that city today

It's not much of a hassle
To drive up to Hearst's Castle
And it's not too far from Pismo Beach or Morro Rock

You can visit downtown at your leisure
Because for your shopping pleasure
The stores never close down until five o'clock

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
Where time shifts into neutral
And idles away

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
I've got to get back
To that city today

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
Where time shifts into neutral
And idles away

Take me down (take me down)
To that good old SLO town
I've got to get back

I suppose you mean rooibos, not roiboos. The plant which latin name is Aspalathus linearis and that is sometimes added with tea for infusion.

So, let's say that any "tea" song will fit.

Of course, the 1st tea song I think is "tea for two", but to be honest I prefer to hear Nirvana's Pennyroyal Tea.

I'm on my time with everyone
I have very bad posture

Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
Distill the life that's inside of me
Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
I'm anemic royalty

Give me a Leonard Cohen afterworld
So I can sigh enternally

I'm so tired I can't sleep
I'm anemic royalty
I'm a liar and a thief
I'm anemic royalty

I'm on warm milk and laxatives
Cherry-flavored antacids

Sit and drink Pennyroyal Tea
Distill the life that's inside of me
I'm anemic royalty
I'm anemic royalty

Oh damn, before Mr. Töff will tell us a song about "anus", a great song leapt to my mind. Here you are:

SANATORIUM: Oral fistf*ck (2004)

I force my fist into your mouth, suck my fingers one by one
Teeth are breaking as I twist, always a big mouthed Helen
A gurgling sound is heard, now what have we learned?
Be careful for what you wish for, or
I will give you some more...

Oral fistf*ck...

Proceed down in your throat, fingers are ripping out your tongue
You feel like vomiting , but my hands stops you from doing it
Blood is running from your lips, I give you a warm and gentle kiss
Hot and sticky in the halls of flesh, I will give so much deserving death...

Down in the ribcage, it's getting hard for you to struggle
I touch your beating heart with my cold hands of pleasure
I get so horny, so I jam my arm into your stomach

First thought : "Son of a b*tch, Kiss my ass" by Accept.
2nd thought "I can take you from behind" sentence from a song named "Bob's yer uncle". I don't remember the band name, I'll search for it right now.

Found it :
Happy Mondays - Bob's yer uncle

What do you want to hear when we're making love
What do you want to hear when we're making love
Can I take you from behind and hold you in my arms
What do you want to hear when we're making love
Can I take you from behind and feel you in my heart
What do we need to re-live to bring us close

Why don't you do it to me
Why don't you do those things to me
Why don't you do it to me
Why don't you do those things to me

Four fall in a bed, three giving head, one getting wet
Four fall in a bed, three giving head, one getting wet

What do you want to hear when we're making love
Can I hold you from behind and tell you that it's me
Why don't you do it to me
Why don't you do those things to me
Why don't you do it to me
Why don't you do those things to me

The love drug is a bug that cuts us both uo
Why don't you do those things to me
Why don't you do it of me, why don't you do those things to me
What can I say to you when we're making love
I could take you from behind and make you live

What do you need me to say when we're making love
I can take you from behind and then I'll forgive

Why don't you do it to me
Why don't you do those things to me
Why don't you do it to me
Why don't you do those things to me

There is a very famous song by "Los Autenticos Decadentes" called "Entrega el marron". "Entrega el marron" (something like 'give the brown away') is reffered to anal sex, as here "marron" means 'ass' (I guess you all know why...)  ;)

1st song coming to my mind : "Get the f*ck out", by Skid Row

You´re standing too close what the f*ck is with you ?
You ain´t my old lady and you ain´t a tattoo.
No need to whimper, no need to shout.
This party´s over, so get the f*ck out...
Get the f*ck out !!!

This song was forbidden to be sang almost everywhere due to verbal violence (it was the early 90's). Skid Row was participating in a big show in the UK with Bon Jovi and other "soft" heavy metal bands like Bon Jovi (I think there was the Russian band Gorki Park too, but not sure).
Skid Row was warned not to sing this song, but as they were rebels (unlike the Bon Jovi or so) they decided to sing it anyway.
Result : Skid Row was declared "personna non grata" in many places in the world, leading finally to the end of the band, due to lack of money. Without possibilities to perfom live to promote their albums, Skid Row was quickly forgotten... :( Too bad, because they had some f*cking good songs...

Too numerous songs with f*ck or motherf*cker. This one is also a good one. ;)

But StuntingHoschte didnt wrote f*ck, he wrote f.u.c.k... So, THE appropriated album must be "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" by Van Halen (read the initials ;D), even if no song of this band has the f*ck word as far as I remember.

You let me violate you
You let me desecrate you
You let me penetrate you
You let me complicate you
Help me I broke apart my insides
Help me, I've got no soul to tell
Help me the only thing that works for me,
Help me get away from myself

I want to f**k you like an animal
I want to feel you from the inside
I want to f**k you like an animal
My whole existence is flawed
You get me closer to god

You can have my isolation,
you can have the hate that it brings
You can have my absence of faith,
you can have my everything

Help me
tear down my reason
help me
it's your sex Ì can smell
Help me
you make me perfect
help me become somebody else

I want to f**k you like an animal
I want to feel you from the inside
I want to f**k you like an animal
My whole existence is flawed
You get me closer to god

Through every forest, above the trees
Within my stomach, scraped off my knees
I drink the honey inside your hive
You are the reason I stay alive

From word "dog", coming from another topic about useless posts for maniac. ;D

Temple of the Dog - Call me a dog

You call me a dog well that's fair enough
cause it ain't no use to pretend
You're wrong
When you call me out I can't hide anymore
I have no disguise you can't see through

Well you say it's bad luck
To have fallen for me
Well what can I say to make it good for you
You wore me out like an old winter coat
Trying to be safe from the cold

But when it's my time to throw
The next stone
I'll call you beautiful if I call at all

You tell me I'm low cause I've slept on the floor
And out in the woods with the badgers and wolves
You threw me out cause I went digging for gold
And I came home with a handful of coal

But when it's my time to throw the next stone
I'll call you beautiful if I call at all
And when it's my time to call your bluff
I'll call you beautiful or leave it alone
You call me a dog
Well that's fair enough
It doesn't bother me as long as you know
Bad luck will follow you
If you keep me on a leash and
You drag me along

/Grunge-rock history mode ON
Temple of the Dog was a one-shot band formed by ex-members of Mother Love Bone (MLB) after the death of the band singer, Andrew Wood.
Their friend Chris Cornell (from Soundgarden at this date, it was the early 90's) took the place of the singer and band changed name to Temple of the Dog. After this album, this "hommage" band splitted, and MLB too.
2 MLB members, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament (who were already together in Green River, the very very first "grunge" band from Seattle, before beeing members of MLB), founded Pearl Jam with a new singer (Eddie Vedder).
Chris Cornell got back to Soundgarden, his own band. He founded later AudioSlave with ex-members of Rage Againt The Machine.
For info, other members of Green River founded Mudhoney when Stone and Jeff created MLB with Andrew Wood.
So, we can say that Green River was still partially "alive" (yes, it's a joke with the famous Pearl Jam song) when Mudhoney and Pearl Jam both participated to the original soundtrack of the (not so interested) movie "Singles". A must-have soundtrack IMO, combining the best of grunge-rock, rap-metal and indie rock mixed together in wonderful duos.

One song comes immediately to my mind : Angry chair, by Alice in Chains.
Sitting on an angry chair
Angry walls that steal the air
Stomach hurts and I dont care

What do I see across the way
See myself molded in clay
Stares at me, yeah I'm afraid
Changing the shape of his face

Candles red I have a pair
Shadows dancing everywhere
Burning on the angry chair

Little boy made a mistake
Pink cloud has now turned to gray
All that I want is to play
Get on your knees, time to pray, boy

I dont mind, yeah
I dont mind, i-i-i
I dont mind, yeah,
I dont mind, i-i-i
Lost my mind, yeah
But I dont mind, i-i-i
Cant find it anywhere
I dont mind

Corporate prison, we stay
I'm a dull boy, work all day
So Im strung out anyway

Loneliness is not a phase
Field of pain is where I graze
Serenity is far away

Saw my reflection and cried
So little hope that I died
Feed me your lies, open wide
Weight of my heart, not the size

Pink cloud has now turned to gray
All that I want is to play
Get on your knees time to pray

Layne Staley died too young... :'( I remember seeing this band on tour in Paris, Layne Staley spent the start of the show (2 or 3 songs) on a big white web above the scene, like a spider.

Mmmm, one French song comes to my mind : "Qui de nous deux" by -M-. A song about a guy talking about his relation with his guitar, between love and music.
Apart from that, "Skater boy" by Avril Lavigne could suit the "love and music" theme. ;)

Mmmm, that one is interesting. Many songs could fit more or less, I need to find the best one.
I'll go to sleep first. A good night will help me chose wisely the proper song to quote. ;)

Imbecility. :)
So, I'm back after a good night and I think I found the best song.

It could have been easy to quote a song talking about stupidity or foolishness, but I won't.

Why ? Because imbecility doesn't mean stupidity, it means lack of intelligence, the opposite of cleverness. That is an idea that seemed clever to the ones having it, but was just showing their lack of intelligence.

So I was thinking of a song talking about what is/was a real big lack of intellect. Then, best example coming to my mind was the cold war : building enough bombs to be able to destroy earth 10 times was definitively the most imbecil idea the human being ever had in my opinion.

So, logically, the best song to talk about that is Russians, by Sting.

In Europe and America
There's a growing feeling of hysteria
Conditioned to respond to all the threats
In the rhetorical speeches of the Soviets

Mr. Khrutchev said "We will bury you"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
It'd be such an ignorant thing to do
If the Russians love their children too...

How can I save my little boy
From Oppenheimer's deadly toy ?
There is no monopoly in common sense
On either side of the political fence

We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Russians love their children too...

There is no historical precedent
To put the words in the mouth of the President
There's no such thing as a winnable war
It's a lie we don't believe anymore

Mr. Reagan says "We will protect you"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Russians love their children too...

We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
What might save us, me and you,
Is if the Russians love their children too...

Hyperactivity!
Many people tend to be hyperactive nowadays, wanting everything right here right now, unable to chill out. An era of hyperconnectivity and hyperactivity is emerging. Even if it is for nothing, many people need to show they're here, that they have a kind of "actuality", because people forget even faster than before.
Madonna is a good example of that kind of hyperactivity.

When I'm told hyperactivity, I answer to calm down. Life is too short to do everything you wish to do anyway, why take time to live the moment, that's my way of life.

So, I would probably answer the song Chill out, by Dan Reed Network (even if the song doesn't concern hyperactivity especially but more the global lifestyle and lack of real priorities in human decisions) :
Babies fightin'before they can read
Old men cryin' you know they can see
Military spending while children don't eat
I can't understand it makes no sense to me
So I'm askin' everyone to check out my point of view
It might be time for a new attitude
So take a look around you, there's somethin' you can do
Don't you think it's time we all chill out

Yet, Robert Palmer's song Hyperactive is a more suitable answer to your word :
And its a mystery how wild that girl can be
She's got so much energy
She's such an expert at surprising me
She's hyperactive when she starts to dance
And she's so attracted to a wild romance
And more effective than a stimulant
She's hyperactive
