It is nice that this is going to be the seventh race. 7 is associated with McLaren to me (early F1 memories from '93-'95; Grand Prix 2) :)

Mika's car!
Where's the vomit icon? >:( ;D
But Mika gave me nice memories, too. Like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2odPR07Vb5s
Best overtaking I've ever seen live http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eE3gCy5zvM
That's a true lesson from a real driver to a "give me the best car so I can win" one.
Also, on the first overtake attempt, Schumacher moved twice to cover the space, when only one move is allowed... But bending the rules was his real talent anyway (remember the Benneton era?)
Do you remember anything great from Hockeyman before 1997? You can't. The incredible technical improvements of (dirty cheater) McLaren made a "hero" from the FIN woodcutter.
Meanwhile, MSC gave a huge impulse to the half-dead Ferrari and we all know what happened in the next few years, when the red car was only 0.5 second/lap slower than the overblown silver - Schumacher started to kick their ass. As for me, the woodcutter was a second class pipsqueak. It's not even worth to mention the other guy from Scotland with brick shaped head.
After the Senna era, McLaren became the team of saltless pipsqueaks. Raikkonen became a cool guy only after leaving them.
But back to the pipsqueaks of the real F1: the best picture from Silverstone.

Not true. YOU just changed the way you see him BECAUSE he left McLaren. Apparently you can't see past the silver-hating veil of yours.

Let me puncuate it: Raikkonen could show his real face when he left McLaren. The team policy of the silver
craps arrows is too British, if you understand what I mean on that (they can't have an own personality, rather following the team's command - and we all know that Kimi can't deal with such strict principals).
Of course this one was true only after the Senna era.
Btw I can't participate this weekend (traveling), but maybe next week.
I won't be able to race either. I know it sounds selfish but that's the main reason why I didn't finish Silverstone-ish track (and Z139, of course)
Here it is!! Feel free to suggest changes in it. Being the first track I build, I know it will most likely suck so say what you think, I won't be hurt by it.
I intended to do a fast track with fast corners (the way I consider the real Silverstone to be). I added a few parts when braking is key to achieve a good time: Elevated corner right after bridge jump; and the loop after the tunnel, leading to a right corner (it would have been too easy with a left one ;) ).
So... this weekend?

Maybe... This flyer says I'll be drinking home-brewed beer from 13 to 21 both on Saturday and Sunday the weekend after that so...

I hate you. ;D
Back to the topic: when? ::)
How about right before F1 race this Sunday? It would be a nice warmup! Race is scheduled to 0h at GMT. I can (and probably will) be up at that time.
We can do it after the race, but I would rather do it before
Not necessarily a bad idea :) (before the race, that is; after I will have collapsed already.)

Sounds good (particularly for me, as odds are that I won't be around on Easter Sunday).

Hmmmmmmmmmm... Sunday?
Maybe. I host a barbecue with some friends, then we usually play Truco and drink Fernet, so I don't know what time they will leave.
Saturday is definitely out, as I'm going to Ska-p show.
Sunday might be possible for me. I have gigs on Friday and Saturday, which probably means that we won't be rehearsing on Sunday evening, as we usually always do.
Sunday became quite unsure for me, there's an emergency case in the family and they need our help now... :-\
(I'll try to be here.)
Sorry for not even showing up, I was way out-of-sync yesterday... :-\
Don't worry, I showed up at around 21 GMT+3 and nobody was around. I think it was a bit late in Europe
I couldn't come, at least not for a whole evening. I spent this Sunday with babysitting instead. :D

HEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!
If you didn't like the track, you could just say it. This delay is pointless ;)

But this Sunday seems to be fine. Who is in?
(now really... this is hopeless...)
Not me. I have an exam Tuesday, so no alcohol, dating, partying or any kind of fun 'till then for me...
This weekend isn't really good for me. Now really, that's a bad joke... Is it time to move the topic to "Stunts Graveyard"? ::)
It is exam season here, maybe in Brazil too. This kinda complicates things a bit

I liked it a lot. Actually, it's the only M. Night Shyamalan movie I like
Almost 5 months without a live race? Man, time is flying...

To me too! (If we do this on Sunday it will clash with the USC deadline; however, with three of the four pipsqueaks currently taking part in Ibadan having posted here I don't think that will be such a big problem. We could even fashion it a deadline meeting of sorts, though with public replays that would be a bit of an anticlimax :))

edit: is this (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=2881.msg55412#msg55412) the track? "downloaded 0 times" sounds a bit strange. Or better, just repost it and recap the rules :D

There is also Saturday, though I suppose that in principle it is a less favourable day of the week than Sunday for such things.

What time then?
2014? ;D

Jumping to December. ;D
This topic is fun.
I've 4 final exams on 26/11, 2/12, 11/12 & 12/12. After that, I'm free as a bird
Preparing for the 2013 ---> 2014 change... :D
La-la-la...
I'm in for this weekend (unless something unpredictable comes up)
I should also be around!
Sunday evening? ;D
Not this Sunday, but starting from Wednesday any evening is good for me!
Sunday, January 26.
Let's do it, come on!
I'll race alone, if necessary, so we can move on to the next track :P

Possible "slots", in GMT+1 times:
- Saturday 26 afternoon,
- Saturday 26 evening,
- Sunday 27 afternoon,
- Sunday 27 evening.
I should be free for all of them, maybe with a slight preference for the afternoon ones.
Sunday afternoon works for me
For me too
So it's Sunday afternoon, tomorrow!
What about 15:00 GMT+1 ? That makes it about 21:00 in China and midday in the Americas.

Okay for me.
So, we finally race on Silverstone tomorrow, Sunday at 15:00 GMT+1
We meet on the forum chat (http://forum.stunts.hu/chat/) at 15:00, download the updated track, race as far as possible and upload the replay within 12 minutes from the start.
Good luck to that, I have family program for the afternoon. :-\ (but Zak will kick your ass for sure :D)
It's too early :(
Lunch time here on my mothers B-day, I can't confirm I'll be around as it will depend heavily on the rest of the family's timetables. But I sure am going to try!
I am in :)
can someone point me to the track? ;D
It's on page 1 (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=2881.msg55412#msg55412) :D Also, the car is the McLaren, and here are the rules (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=2801.0), which had half forgotten.

Sorry guys, I wasn't around the start time due to base stupidity. For some reason I did not double-check that 15:00 GMT+1 was when I thought it was :-X
As expected, lunch was at the time the race was held and I couldn't come. Did you enjoy the track - car combo?
Well, sort of. I realized immediately on the first lap, that my Dosbox is not set up correctly and using McLaren it was lagging a lot (you can surely guess from my jerky corners). Of course this problem did not occur during practice!
I put my kids to bed a few minutes before the late and my wife was out with some friends. During lap 5 Barnabas came out of the kids' room, claiming he has to take a poo. He is a big boy and managed just fine to do so, but was shouting for me to go and wipe his bottom.
I rushed to the bathroom, did so, and asked him to go quickly back to sleep as I am busy "working" (If I tell him I am racing, he would never return to bed :)) He started complaining that I need to personally put him to bed, and spent the rest of the race crying in front of their room while I was battling with time and the lagging Dosbox. Cruel father I am.
During the last two minutes of course Richard woke up on the noise and started shouting that he needs his toy frog which he has deliberately thrown out of the bed earlier.
We concluded in the chatroom that it is quite understandable for real-life pipsqueaks to let their spouse/family to handle their kids during races :) During the creation of the next track I actually had to go back to their room 3 times to a.) give them water to drink b.) give them back their toys thrown out of bed c.) generic resistance and unrest against sleeping. Hence the track name :)
But of course all this does not reduce the value of dreadnaut's victory. Congrats! :)
So, the topic title is already the final one. :D
