One thing I like to do is write a short summary at the end of a race, to remind people of the cool stuff that happened during the past week, and celebrate not only the winners, but any good performance. However, it takes time, and I'm missing quite a few months. I even missed the closing post for last year! But, hey, I can only do a limited amount of things :-X
So, who wants to write race summary posts? ;D Just choose a track, keep an eye on the race for that month, and send a short and informal post about once it's over. No marks! A friendly editor!

Fill at least 6 months, and I'll make time to write the others. Fill 10, and I'll have more time to work on website features! :o
Hey, I feel comfortable composing, although I'm not as good at analysing races, but I can try my best. I'm working on the new R4K now, but you can count me in for the end of ZCT225 and later on, we'll see how well (or horribly wrong) I do it XD and if it's not that bad, I may be doing it more often!
I think I can start, by taking ZCT224 ;)
I like this idea! We had some great interviews, articles and analyses back in the golden era. In Stunts'r'us, ZSC, USC...
Unfortunately my English is crappier than ever, therefore any articles from me would be a pain to read.
I'm happy to do ZCT226 if you would like 8)
Thank you, everyone! I've added the names to the list at the top :)

Your own track! Nice, you'll have a unique perspective on that one!

I don't think that's a problem, and I'd be happy to help with editing! I am not a native English speaker, but I've been living here for some time now ;)
Nice initiative! I can do ZCT227.
Is there a guest article for ZCT224?

Is there a guest article for ZCT224?
I have not received one, but given the situation around the old continent in the past weeks, I'm not expecting the schedule to follow Swiss standards. I did remember to write a post though! 8)
Sorry, I thought that your post counted as the article. :( I can write one anyway! ;)
Please do! I thought I would post something short anyway, to fill the void, but did not talk much about the race itself :)
Could it be some sort of a draft?
QuoteHi all! The third race of the season came to its end, and new pipsqueaks along with familiar faces filled as usual the scoreboard.
As for the previous race, the winning lap has been run on a different car with respect to the main one used by the pipsqueaks: this time Duplode set, minutes away from the deadline, the reference time, by driving the Audi DTM in a sligthly higher time compared to Alan's Jaguar (which raced at countdown almost zero too), but the better bonus gave the former the tallest step on the podium.
With it completed by CTG in the third place (after being first until the quiet days), an important attention has to be given to the Traction Faction guys, where Stingray and Heretic were able to finish ahead respectively of experienced drivers Overdrijf and Seeker, by posting good laps since the first week of the race. The other Rolling Stunts guys, dreadnaut and afullo, along with Cas (in representance of the third car used by some players, namely the Lancia), completed the top ten.
The fourth race is underway, so stay tuned!

Looks good to me, thank you very much! ;D
Ok, thanks! :) But you published it twice :P

It was
that good!
Ah! It's my turn on this one! I hope I can manage to do it well. I can write comfortably, but I'm not a good race analyser, ha, ha. I'll try my best and post it here too to see what you guys think :) That, once we got the final results for this race. I will also have to watch some replays carefully.
Hey... not sure how good or bad is my article, but this is my first attempt. What do you think?
Another scoreboard has been filled and we're now in May! It starts to get cold in the Southern hemisphere and a European triumvirate takes the whole podium! Very close and very tight, Seeker1982 managed to achieve the first place with Overdrijf and CTG following, all three within 7/100 of a second, final time.
With six different cars in the scoreboard and two more having been used on this race as well, PSX Madness has proven extremely competitive and full of possibilities. In spite of the Mercedes being the favourite for most pipsqueaks and for the greatest part of the challenge, the LM002 ended up being the winner, taking three of the first five pipsqueaks to the top. It's a lesson to pipsqueaks like me: learn to use slow cars!
The rest of the top 10 continues with Stingray86, with an impressive lap for the F40, followed by Heretic and Duplode and then four Mercedes driven by Cas, Afullo, sd4000 and Shoegazing Leo. The GAR section had very good participation too this month, the podium being dominated again by Seeker1982, but this time followed by two great pipsqueaks from the South: Stingray86 and Duplode.
It's great to see so much action on the 8bit-colour-depth pavement. I'm sure we're all looking forward to more races like this, so let's see what comes next!

It's a great article, but uhmm... maybe a little early. As Afullo said in the shoutbox (3 whole minutes before I posted this), the hidden time have not been published yet. :o ;D

Haha, sorry for taking a whole day to remember about the quiet replays! :) Luckily the corrections should be minimal. Just send me the article by PM when you're happy!
Oh, my! I looked at the publishing times and saw there were two replays in the quiet days so I thought "Alright, they've been published". Now I realise those two replays were GAR ones! Anyway, I'll have to write everything from scratch. It doesn't make sense to just retouch it.
Alright... I'll try again. Sorry that I've been off a few days. Busy times and this article task, I've found out, is super difficult to me. Actually, not writing the article, but analysing the race XD And I had to do it twice! I'll send a PM to Dreadnaut with the new article
Thank you Cas! The post is up :)
Ok hear is my report for ZCT226!
Reporting on ZCT226
We have just witnessed the end of an epic battle between the F40 and the P962 or Seeker vs. Duplode!
The big question loomed - would Seeker make a second major victory? Or would Duplode prevail as he has done time and time again this season? Ultimately it was Duplode's very skilled lap in the F40 that stole the show on the last day, including a perfectly executed loop trick!
As usual, our other highly skilled Pipsqueaks Overdrijf, CTG and Dreadnaught followed up the top 5. It appears Rolling Stunts has returned as the winning team this time around, tightening the gap between Season leaders Cork's Crew.
Also witnessed a great display of GAR laps, with the Trueno a clear favourite (congrats Seeker!) and the welcome return of Marco.
It pleased me to see such enthusiasm and skill used on my very own track designed around my home country! Now we move on to the Jungle. Gentlemen, start your engines!
Thank you!
I'll take July on the calendar, feel free to book any of the following months! :)
Good! Except that... we did not win the team competition, although here (http://zak.stunts.hu/tracks/2020) it seems so (maybe it won't get updated after quiet replays publishing and scoreboard confirmation?). The seasonal table (http://zak.stunts.hu/index.php?page=team&season=2020) reports how Cork's Crew won all the first five races.

Fixed! Both the podiums, and the article ;)
Four tracks to go, applications for writers are still open! ;D

I'll take 232, looking ahead at one, final, race.
Thank you!
Make sure it'll be an RS-232 port
Thank you to everyone who submitted an article this year, I really enjoyed reading different takes on races and tracks!
I'll make sure we have a timely last race / end of season post, but let's do this again next year (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=3618.0) :)
