Well... can the ZCT61 drivers re-use their replays? Melange seems to be a good option for this track.
It's my first meeting with this legendary track - not a bad one!
By the way ZCT 159 winning replays are missing in the ZCT 160 track pack.
I have to admit that ZCT61 was a fuckin' strong race. Nowadays, 20 minutes RH is enough for a 4th-5th place - but when I gave a quick try to the good old Oligoway, I couldn't beat AbuRaf's 14th place time with auto gears.
One more thing: there are only two tracks from ZakStunts burned in my mind (every stallin corner). Yeah, ZCT 14 and 61. Both were excellent, hard and both caused an extreme suffer.

The track name is different, so you can "re-use" old replays only with some hexediting. (Quite easy one, but still...)
That's not true and you know it :P

That's not true and you know it :P
how? ::)
What I would do to re-use my old replay:
- stopping the old one 0.05 seconds before the end, save it
- make a 59.65 long unfinished replay on ZCT160
- replace the key press part of the new replay with the old one
- finish the new replay
It's about 2 minutes in a decent hexeditor. And it wouldn't be the first time I use this method... :D
haha ok It's worthless to say more :D
It's a very difficult circuit... ::)
Yes and I took the IDK shortcut :D
IDK?
ZCT 61 vs ZCT 160, the old times were also corrected. It's quite a sad comparison - especially because now we all know the path used on ZCT 61...
Where would you finish on ZCT 61 with this result?

Maybe its better to actually capture screen using fraps or something like shadowplay. so you can proof you actually driven the whole track if its that easy to fake your timings.

Per minute? ???
Knowing the keypress codes (from paper), it was easy to reproduce most of the 0.2-0.5 seconds long sections (e.g. when you accelerate only). The hardest part to reproduce was surprisingly an "easy" one in 2006.

plan B: drive 05 05 05 05 05, rewind it 0.10, drive 29 29 09 09 09 09 09, rewind it 0.10, drive 01 01 01.
Friker's plan B became reality.

KEYBOARD EVENT BLOCK
At offset 0x0722 (new format: 0x0724) the keyboard event block begins.
Each event is represented by one byte and can consist of up to six
simultanously keypresses (in theory).
The following chart shows how keypresses are encoded. If a specific bit
is set the corresponding key was pressed, if the bit is clear the key has
been released.
Bit 76543210 Keyboard event
????????
???????+-- Accelerate key pressed
??????+--- Brake key pressed
?????+---- Right key pressed
????+----- Left key pressed
???+------ Shift up key pressed
??+------- Shift down key pressed
+--------- Unused (should be 0)
6 keys - in practice, you can press only two or three. I wonder if some unbelievable magic carpet replays in the past contained some 3+ key code...
00 - nothing

Will Rokker and Boller push out Akoss from the podium?
It seems they couldn't but we can't deny they tried. Their skills are getting better, congratulations. Podium with auto-transmission, well done!
I guess the hidden replays are not revealed yet.
Oh! I can't wait to see the final results then.

My 1:27.68 was an hidden replay. ;)
CTG: could you please post your 48.24 here? If your reconstructed lap is deemed legal, I would like to have a different one as an extra in the Competition Archive.

Of course, in the evening. It's a bit different line compared to the ZCT61 replay.
However, my old replay's reconstruction should be erased from the scoreboard (lacking novelty) - it would not change the rankings.

Then next time don't send it —wait until the race is over— so people don't have to go around and clean up your stuff :P
