I've had many more cats as pets as well, but I do like dogs. They're harder to care for, that's what I don't like, such as having to wash them and them needing so much more attention, but they are super loyal.

You guys let me know and I make sure Simple Garage follows the guidelines for that. I could even give it an integration so that you can directly install cars from Simple Garage by downloading them from a repository that follows the format, being it SCR, Mark's site or anywhere else

I agree with Argammon in general. It's true that most of us just ignore LTB altogether so it's a feature that's not fully exploited. On the other hand, just like Argammon's original proposition or what Dreadnaut suggests, there could be many ways to implement this, so it's probably best to discuss it and mix ideas to get something optimal. I have never experienced LTB myself, so I might not be the best one to throw suggestions, though  ;D

There are so many custom cars and choices, it's really difficult to choose. I like the F40 idea and also, it'd be interesting to have the Lola or Penske instead of the McLaren. The McLaren is a very unique case and I wouldn't like it to be absent for more than one year in a row, though. No replacement for it.

It was a very interesting experiment. I'm among the ones that gave it a good vote!

Wow!  There had been a lot of talk about my track at that time as regards it allowing PG with the Ferrari, so I'm surprised it reached the top. Seems it was fun to race anyway!

I've been taking a look at the different tracks and it's curious how the average scores are completely different from my scoring of each track, so I understand Duplode's surprise

The thing is it's harder to post a better replay and also not fly over the finish line. On the other hand, if you first drove the correct way, you can now do the opposite

Being able to easily play against your previous self would help a lot in trying to improve a lap!

Very good looking!  We'll definitely find a slot for it in R4K this coming season :)

Right. In all cases, you would need to mod something. If you were able to channel the input from a previously saved replay to the opponent, you'd first have the problem that the opponent starts at a position different from the one at which the player starts and if you force it to be the same, you'd have instant collision. So say you were able to disable car-car collision, which probably isn't as complicated as it sounds, then yes, the original engine could allow you to play against your ghost.

Now, as Daniel3D pointed out, if what you want is to see your several replays playing together, you can channel them through my graphics engine and that is already feasible.
