Why not Kazincwuhancika anyway?

Nope, a fact. (At least in böffing and in beer consumption.)

Actually, it's a surprisingly easy one. The harder part is to keep high speed without crashing.
I made a jump from loop to bridge too. It took me just a few tries and I'm not very good at shortcuts! Unless I'm starting to learn, ha, ha.

I would like to make it, but I'm not there yet.. I'm more of a OWOOT [in this case 'one wheel on over TILE'] style driver.
In that case, it'd be nice to see you in Race For Kicks :D

Somebody please take the lead. It's boring to be first with such a crappy AUTO TRM lap.

Hahaha. I'm working on it. But I'm not as good as I was 20 years ago. Been driving for fun lately, not for speed.
If I can get my skills back, it probably not this track. Maybe not this year...

It comes back quite quickly. One or two months.
Actually, the longest time without playing Stunts was... erm... maybe between 1995 and 1997. :D Without competition: 2015-2018.
I hardly played the past 10 years.. so we'll see.
But thanks for the positivity 8)

Check the number of replays sent before 2015 and after 2018. You will see a huge difference. (In number of ZSC messageboard/forum posts, too.)

Well, it is a./ not that difficult b./ not that worthy. Of course it is worthy, but the grass shortcut from the loop yields almost as good sector time as the jump into the elevated road.
It happened in the past that a./ I designed a difficult/annoying track 'cos I planned not to race on it b./ designed a track which was planned to be a good one, but turned out to be an annoying one... but this time, I enjoy racing on my track - not an ordinary fact.
My replay... erm, I've done all the tricks, sent a more-or-less decent replay... now I wonder if I am keen on working on a perfect replay with efficient advanced replay handling or not...
Sorry about the loop jump, I don't know if it was there in the original. To follow the "make a small change" tradition, I swapped the loop and the slalom tiles, thinking it would have no effect. Turns out it makes the loop-to-bridge jump a thing :o

Well, I didn't know/remember this make a small change tradition. I wondered when I saw CTG's replay and then drove the lap myself how could this loop jump happen, because it wasn't planned... but now I understand, yes, the loop and the slalom tiles were in different position. It is definitely not a '
small' change. However, it doesn't really bother me, a neat trick is available with this.
I guess at least 5 pipsqueaks will be under 1 minute.
Whatever happens, this might be one of the strongest races of the last 10 years.
Winning replay: landing in the cork up/down OR driving on the left edge of the bridge and cork up/down. The latter one almost worked. Almost. Falling on the grass OR crashing. I should drink less in the last hours.

Yeah, summer vacations :D Anyway there were harder races in the last years. I didn't use a checkpoint system (that's the way I used to race). We are too lazy or too old for hard races hahaha. I did my best but Dups appeared ;D. I'll watch his replay as soon as you publish it.
Also there was a nice track design, very enjoyable. It was fun.
If anyone wants to write the race summary, let me know ;D

23rd overall, and 13th since 2010. I tend to agree on this race having been even stronger than Z229. I believe the model rates Z229 slightly higher largely because of FinRok taking part.
The Cartography top 6 video for Z234 is ready! You can find it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyylOzK_Vm8 . After watching it all, one thing I'd certainly highlight is the strong performance of Alan, even beyond pulling off the best line at the next-to-last sector before the u/d cork.
Thank you! Maybe I'm not as rusty as I thought but still far from what I was.

Stunts racing is like cycling. You can't forget how to do it properly. If you have a sense to find tricks & shortcuts, it will work whatever the year is. Everything else depends on the time and energy spent on RH.
(Alan Rotoi is one of the greatest Stunts pipsqueaks in history. Even if I don't like his terrible jokes. ;D)

Hungary: third wave hits the country, new lockdown (+worry and fear) for at least 2 weeks.
Btw in my region the number of new infections are not that high.
It is promised that before 11th April the people who are already registered for the vaccine can get its first dose.
Here we have a second wave, building up from January after some respite between October and December. My state is stepping back to the "red stage" (strictest restrictions) from Saturday, also for at least two weeks. It's a mess...
Here we have people saying there's going to be a second wave, but that doesn't seem to happen. People are being super careless, so clearly it's not the measures stopping said "wave". I could say that, with people taking almost no measures, how can we expect a second wave if the first is at its maximum? We wouldn't notice the difference. But to be honest, I don't see as many people around being infected as a couple of months ago and there doesn't seem to be a reason for that either. My conclusion is that we just have to be careful because nobody, not even doctors, seem to really understand what's going on, so better do things well just in case, ha, ha. It's so easy to take the basic precautions that there's no reason not to do it. Just the basic ones are already super helpful, even if you're not willing to go the extra mile.
We have been in lockdown with curfew since January. Although numbers are good authorities say that there a third wave building. A new mutation is growing rapidly while older variants are lowering in numbers. Public unrest is growing (stupid people who use freedom of speech to spread fake news that other stupid people want to be true. Which is not helping) politics are close to elections. It's becoming quite a mess....

Here we had a lighter lockdown and a partial (between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.) curfew since 11th November, but as the numbers started to rise steeply, the government decided to introduce a stricter lockdown now, including the closure of all schools and kindergartens + non-essential shops. The reason is mainly the British mutant, which was imported mainly from Slovakia. I think this stricter lockdown would have had to be introduced 2 weeks earlier to save lives, but at that time the government rather talked about a gradual opening...
Definitely, we do have lots of infected people in South America, but you Europeans are really having problems with these new strains. It looks like the inactivity or very low activity of airlines mainly is preventing those strains from reaching here but it will have to happen at some point.

We have variant strains there which came outside from Europe... the South African mutant.
There is a highly contagious South African mutant as well, the Brazilian one (not identified in Hungary so far).
But you can't tell to European people to follow rules like last year in Wuhan...
(And there is a rumour about a possible Czecho-Slovak mutant as well... maybe it is like the British one, maybe not...)
In Hungary, we have a mutant from Mars

What's the hungarian term? Do you have different words for mutation (a small change) and mutant (usually in science fiction, some creature deformed by radiation / pollution / horrible things in the dark)?

Ah, I see. While the mutation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutation is called mutation in English, the mutation of coronavirus is rather called variant (or they just talk about a different/new strain), mutant is used less frequently. While in Hungarian, we rather use the term mutant virus if it suffers a mutation (like corona).

That makes sense actually :D Thanks both for explaining!
It's interesting how some words maintain meaning but not "feel" from a language to another. I noticed something similar with the word "thief" in English, which sounds like the person in question has a (bad) skill in contrast with the word "ladrón" in Spanish, that means the same thing, but sounds like the person is very insignificant.
