NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! WHAT A stallin SHIT!!! CORRUPTION IS ALL OVER THE ASSOCIATION! Elections for president was few weeks ago and there were more votes than voters!! The two political factions "talked" and they'll make another election in June. FUCKERS! The two factions are stallin corrupt. Segura is the candidate of the old mafia power built by Grondona and Tinelli is another rich corrupt business media man.
Do you know how's the system of Primera A?
To descend to second category there is a list of average points of each team in the last 3 championships (since 1983 more or less). This only benefits to the powerful teams and make them stay in top category even if they are in the last place in one championship. NOW we have to add a championship of 30 teams (yes, 30!) splitted in two stallin zones without sence and crossed matches between the top historical teams. Only two teams descends to second category. I'm mad about it. This is what a professional sport is: a stallin shit.
Ugh. This fix reminds me very much of the Brazilian League in the 90s...
The 90's are back with our new president. (The 90's in Argentina was a savage neoliberalism decade that impoverished and borrowed the population)
It's almost a championship of Pernambuco. Just need to replace promedio with a "hexangular de la muerte".

About Brazil today. Neymar is supposedly the best player today. You know I don't like who abuse of dive and cheating means and this guy uses them a lot but still is a pro player. Sometimes he's possessed and makes impossible moves, that's what a crack does.
Skilled players are a constant in Brazilian football but (I'm a bit distant of football news) I didn't see another Brazilian prominent player in the media. Could you name new or old outstanding player now?
Willian has been pretty strong even though his team is sucking...
A good future player is Gabriel "Gabigol" Barbosa (Santos). I believe what he will be the future #9 of Brazil.
The problem is: the best players of Brazilian Championship gone to China: Diego Tardelli, Everton Ribeiro and Ricardo Goulart last year and Jadson and Renato Augusto now.
I guess those you told me are sub 25 players. Is there any "10" or "5"? Also I like the Cafu or Roberto Carlos position. Sometimes are a great support in a strike. Here we had a "3" I liked a lot, you know well in Brazil about Sorin. That kind of defensive side but you can find him in the mid or in a strike and they run and run and never get tired.
Roberto Carlos is the best left side I can remember. I admire and hated a lot when he played against us of course :D There is a cult about his awesome free kick goals but I guess he had even better jobs in the field.
Anyway I guess Brazil is still in crisis finding local skilled players. I say "finding" and not "generating". Maybe the business is killing the selection of real skilled players, I don't know.
I don't like to play against a "weak" Brazil and it's kinda weird because since I born Brazil is the best team and Argentina has the hairy balls to face them as eternal rival.
Maybe the "silence" is notorious after 10-15 years of an unstoppable team and the most remarcable detail is there were more than one generation in a row at the top.

Gabigol is now 19. Very young.
Diego Tardelli is 30.
Everton Ribeiro is 26.
Ricardo Goulart is 24.
Jadson is 32.
Renato Augusto is almost 28.
The only yougster I said is Gabigol.
Sorín is "epetacular". We in Brazil like him a lot. He is working at ESPN Brazil.
So this year we have:
- Olympic games Rio 2016 (Brazil) August 5 - August 21
- Centennial Copa America (USA) 3 – 26 June 2016
- African Nations Championship (Rwanda) 16 January – 7 February 2016
- OFC Nations Cup (Papua New Guinea) 28 May – 11 June 2016
- UEFA Euro 2016 (France) 10 June – 10 July 2016
Anything else?

Nope, Jaguaré (not to be confused with Jaguara and Jaraguá, which are also on the border but lie across the Tietê river. Brasilândia, in turn, is directly east of Jaraguá).

The scenarios for Brazil's Copa América group are mildly interesting. Results so far:
Brazil 0 - 0 Ecuador
Haiti 0 - 1 Peru
Brazil 7 - 1 Haiti
Ecuador 2 - 2 Peru
Ecuador is out if it fails to win against Haiti. If Ecuador wins and there is a winner at Brazil v. Peru both final round winners go through, with Ecuador second in the group. However, if Ecuador wins and the other game is a draw then Brazil, Peru and Ecuador will be tied at 5 points. In that case, goal difference in the games against Haiti will be decisive: Brazil will certainly go through, Peru will be massively disadvantaged for only winning 1-0 and Ecuador will need to win by two goals to ensure qualification.
Peru is the country with the most immature jokes in Brazil, because is a coloquial term to 'penis' and the new Peru's president is PPK which can be read as 'pepeca', a coloquial name to 'vagina' in brazilian portuguese.
Which one is funnier: the state of the Brazilian NT or CONMEBOL refereeing?

Common joke on Hungarian Internet sites. :-)
Btw Hungary won the match 2-0!!! The end of a long-long struggle. I was a little kid, 2.5 years old during World Cup 1986. I haven't ever seen Hungary on a big tournament (maybe in Atlanta, the '96 Olympics). And a victory over a stronger team! Fifth beer rolling through my throat!!! Fantastic!!! :-)
I would drink this victory if I wouldn't sick, taking a lot of medicines for the flu and a earache

Quick recovery and a shot of pálinka for you! :-)
The joke with Franz Joseph is historically not correct: the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy had two separate national teams, like the members of the UK do have now.
Yesterday's game was unforgettable! No matter what will happen in the next rounds, EURO 2016 became the greatest success for Hungarian football for the last 20 years. I write only 20 years, because I felt very similar in 1995, seeing Ferencváros qualifying for the 16-team Champions League against Anderlecht (BEL), then beating Grasshoppers (SUI) 3-0 in the first round. Although I hated Ferencváros in the national league, it was obvious they represented the whole country in international cup games. (That could not work today with clubs working as pure businesses, blowing their money on players with no link to the country or the city...)
Ferencváros' success did not continue in the rest of that Champions League season, they could not compete with the big ones (Ajax and Real Madrid). So a second Hungarian victory (not impossible against Iceland) would really make it the greatest football experience of my life...
But today there's another important game for me: Russia-Slovakia. SLOVENSKO, DO TOHO! 8)
FANTASTIC SLOVAK VICTORY!!!
Marek Hamsik is a underestimated player.
Hungary qualified for last 16.
Possible opponents:
Spain, Croatia (if we finish 3rd in the group)
England (if we finish 2nd in the group)
Belgium, Sweden or Ireland (if we win the group)

Fulfilled!
Most entertaining match of the tourney:
Hungary-Portugal 3-3 (1-1)
Gera (1-0) 19.
Nani (1-1) 42.
Dzsudzsák (2-1) 47.
C. Ronaldo (2-2) 50.
Dzsudzsák (3-2) 55.
C. Ronaldo (3-3) 62.
The stars of the teams scored the goals.
Well, that was the match where everything went in what wanted to. Gera: fantastic long-distance shoot, well deserved goal for the veteran of the team at the end of his career. Nani: Király should have saved that one. Dzsudzsák's both goals were bounced on a Portuguese players. C. Ronaldo's first goal was probably offside - the lack of the good-angle camera replay is a good evidence of that.
Hungary will face Belgium or Sweden, or less likely Ireland.
BÖFF!

I knew Caio Júnior (coach), Mário Sérgio (TV journalist), the Chapecoense's press director, the Chapecoense's president, Gil and Sérgio Manoel (played in Coritiba). Two players played in Atlético Paranaense: Cléber Santana and Alan Ruschel (one of the survivors, who played only two games in Atlético Paranaense loaned by Internacional and got a knee injury after the second game). The goalkeeper Danilo played in SEVEN teams of Paraná's countryside: Cianorte, Londrina, Engenheiro Beltrão, Paranavaí, Arapongas, Nacional de Rolândia and Operário Ferroviário.
Mário Sérgio Pontes de Paiva was the coach who formed the Atlético Paranaense of 2001 and of 2004.When he was a player, he was a mixture of Ronaldinho Gaúcho (class, look to a side and pass to another) with the temper of an Eric Cantona or an Edmundo.
I remembered now that I covered some games of left wingback Dener when he was a U-20 player...
