Trackmania Sunrise has some pretty pathetic physics. Nil collisions handling is about as primitive as they get. The only advanced feature worth mentioning is that stupid copy protection which no one bothered to crack. If it played and sounded (crappy techno) half as well as it looks, then it would rock. All you have to do is check out Outrun 2, which is two years old and it's more complete then tm.

Bah.

Stunts kicks ass, it was clever and it showed.

L8s!

Both TrackMania games are inspired by Stunts.
Since version 1.5 of 1st TM (called TM Original), there's the same "Stunts" feature than the one used in TM Sunrise Extreme.
Funny feature, but quite different anyway than the original Stunts because :
- no funny crashes in TM
- more "permissive driving" in TM
- no replay handling in TM
- no power gear in TM
- no funny crazy bugs in TM
- no online multiplayer in Stunts
- more track elements in TM
- only one car per environnement with TM, even if skins can be modified it's always the same car properties (physics, ...)
- no car crash if you hurt another car in TM
...

I play both games, and find different interests in them.

And what about the promising forthcoming CrashDay (http:www.crashday.de) ? Will CrashDay kill TM community ? Will all TM pipsqueaks forget TM as so many forgot Stunts ? I think not. TM, CrashDay and Stunts are different and they are complementary.

Stunts is not forgettable.

Both TM games will probably last as long as Stunts in the memories of players due to the infinity of track possibilities? Stunts is now 15 years old, and it is still played.

Long live Stunts.

Trackmania may be nice, I already heard that from several people, and I'll surely test it once.
But for this sentence you really deserve a:
SUCK MY INDY!!!

And our god, the stunts oracle, will be be very kind with you... Pardon him because he doesn't know what he is talking about, stunts oracle.

We saw cars bouncing at 245mph and reach the skies like bullets.

We jumped one hundred times on the same track, just because we like to hear the scream of the indy car's engine in the air.

and awake, when asked what our last dream was about, we answer

STUNTS
