well the mainstream is today ringtones and operator logos, so here you are :)
I have a Siemens S35i, now with the following logo:
I'm working on converting this greyscale pic into 1bit black/white:
and I have just converted a ringtone from this excellent stunts remix I found today:
http://stunts.mine.nu/zakstunts/pics/misc/stunts.xm
I'll also change the greeting animation to a Countach crossing the screen.
Data-cable rules :)

Cool idea 8) I'm waiting to see the black and white flying car (the second image).
Although I guess I will not put it on my phone, because I use this one:

How many percent of the population have mobile phone's in hungary?
Quote from: "Argammon"How many percent of the population have mobile phone's in hungary?
Pfff dunno, but I guess about 80-90. An average ppl have a mobile. I also have one, since 2001. They have conquered Hungary, too a few years ago.
There are more mobile telephones than traditional in Brazil...
i bought a motorola c550. i have midi ringtones and color screen 4096 colors. I will put a stunts ringtone on it, and a stunts wallpaper... as stunts is VGA (256 colors) i can use the original screen cap to make a super pic :)
i want to convert the music automatically from wav to midi. then transfer the ringtone onto the mobile via data cable. but i still search for the method :) i will put a link here to the result files asap.
Is there anyone who has got the sheet music of Stunts? I need it to enter in my ringtone editor (Sagem MW 3026). Who can help me?
SMS me!
I don't think converting from wav to midi is possible at all, Mr. Professore. Just the other way.
But I have the Stunts theme midi here! (http://public.fh-wolfenbuettel.de/~hosseini/sonstiges/stunts.mid)
@CTG:
I could give you the notes, but there could be a little problem: I have the Sagem MC 930, and there it's only possible to play one single note at one moment, so there are no chords possible etc. If it's the same with your mobile, I could rearrange the notes, so that there is only one melody line and it would sound like the PC Speaker music.
@rotoi
Who shall SMS you what?
just a "hello" :D you know, those text messages 8)

My Sagem MW3026 has poliphonic sounds but the editor can do only monophonic notes - that's why I think these two phones are more or less equivalents. So if you have the Stunts notes, please send it to me. Thanks! ;)
i dont think you know about wav to midi conversion at all, mr joe..................... but i converted it... and i did it in tubular bells, cathedral organic, dickinghamic tremulation sound, etc. i will show you how. i need a usb data cable to transfer it on the phone now.
i used the windows recorder to record the stereo mixer on the soundblaster tune of stunts music. i obtained a wav file called l.wav which i put into a program called *ad* akoff music composer *ad*... you know, the kind of program the guys use to make the midi files for the doom 2 wads... its not fag hand typing like CTG does on his mobile, its machine vs human hand. machine wins. for the screen capture, as i got a VGA cam on the motorola c550 *ad*, i photographed the computer with the presentation page of stunts and defined the picture as a wallpaper... the screen saver for the color screen of the motorola c550 * ad* is my dog. thanks for the midi file, i used the kalpen remix on my first stunts site in 2001 :)
i did it... i had already the mini usb cable: my sony camescope had it :) it plug into the motorola 5 pins. i can upload jpeg pics, gifs, and midi files... yes, i can hear stunts and doom music on my phone and transfer photos on my pc :) cool
I have a basic Nokia 3410 (black and white, monocolor)...
Is there a way for me to upload pics or ringtones on my phone ?
OK, Alain, if you have just the PC Speaker melody, I can imagine, that it works.
But I thought you wanted to try it with the sound blaster sound, so the program would have to recognize with which instruments this should be played with and would have to detect all the notes of every instrument out of the downmixed wav-file and so on.
If you see a program that can do this, please tell me.
@Krys: Sorry, I'm no expert at mobile phones. Do you have any other connection-possibilities than the power supply? If no, it should not be possible
I have a Siemmens A56.
krys of course, everything is possible since you can download them via WAP, but nokia 3410 (my mothers phone) have no usb or serial port
so you can have:
Ringing Tones
35 fixed and 7 variable tones (for composed or downloaded ringing tones)
Downloadable personal applications via Java? technology
WAP 1.1 Browser, WAP Push
Customizable and downloadable profiles
Full display screensavers; animated 3D screensavers
that means you can download a stunts logo and a stunts ringtone from a wap site, made of your own on free.fr webspace! and even java games. well i never did it already, but if i can find the method on the internet, i will show you.
BTW i made no wallpaper for my phone, i captured a pic and defined it as a wallpaper, no transfer needed. i also used the midi that diesel joe showed me as a ringtone. so you can listen to it.
the first stunts wap site... krys i will try to do it, but try to do it yourself... good luck in making a wap site, krys and if you succeed, tell me how you did it
How can I use the midi in my cel?

Well, I'll search infos about how to make wap sites...
But first I will verify that WAP is activated on my phone, I never used it.
mmmmh dont verify, its activated... since it has the wap abilities, it can do it... just go to applications, navigateur... and surf the web from the beach ;)
okay, its in your provider contract, i think if you are on orange, it is available... if you are on bouygues, also... if you are on sfr, also... i dont know others...
check if its in your month conso
the url of my first stunts wap site: perso.wanadoo.fr/pere.hendaye/a.wml
type it in the navigateur (explorer) on your phone and you will find two things. one terminator gif and one ringtone.
try to download the nokia 3410 stunts ringtone, i will upload several formats to test, i dont know if it will work but hope it works.
LOOOOL i will update my wap site as soon as i have created logos for nokia 3410 : )
i need to know the format that this puny screen can read...
in the meantime i will post a link to kalpen brothers gif for color phones happy possessors
http://kalpen.de/stunts/pic/stani.gif(http://kalpen.de/stunts/pic/stani.gif)
Harhar - does anyone use it?
Harhar?
Guess it means something like "Ha ha!"
Hare Krisna, hare Krisna, hare Krisna, hare-hare! :D
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare!
i put a logo online called stunts.nlm it should work for nokia 3410 krys. now you can download it via wap. i didnt find the format for ringtones yet... only i can translate the midi sound to rtttl ringtone for now.
I tested your site and it works fine.
sts.fr.st works fine too, no problem for me. :D
I dl the T2 screensaver but it puts only a black square on my phone. :?
I tried to dl the image but it told me "Unknown file format". :(
Which program did you used to make your vml page ? I found a small program that convert html to vml but I did not tested it yet.
i am happy to see it worked :) but i think i messed up with the file formats...
i used wapdrive waptor... it prepares and saves a wml file. then you can upload this file to a normal webspace. http://www.wapdrive.com/DOCS/downloads/wd-waptor23.exe
from http://www.wapdrive.com/
and precisely http://www.wapdrive.com/DOCS/wap_software/waptor.html
a link to the the logo manager program http://www.deblok.net/membres/logiciels_t_Nokia_Tuning.html
It's funny to read after 8 years...
indeed :)
it just proves that Stunts is timeless. phones are not :)
Unless they are phones with Stunts on them? Using iDosbox?
A cell phone Stunts competition would be as weird as racing with force feedback steering wheels (WSM 2004?).
it was without force feedback, but a steering wheel nevertheless :)
Dosbox is apparently ported to the Nintendo Wii. I wonder if its possible to play Stunts with motion control...

If Dosbox is ported correctly, it should be. When I was working at a game test company a few years ago, we did some crazy things with Wii's remote and old games. (Well, it was not actually "we" but some of the guys I worked with did, I just played). One of the guys ported Prince of Persia (PC one) to a wii and played with the Wiimote to jump and walk (no clue about how he did it though)
I planned this when I found the topic few months ago - maybe it's not too late to show them.
