Looks like your team is doing moderately well... I don't understand why the coach was fired though.

My team's results this season:

AGF - Farum   2 - 0
AGF - Esbjerg   2 - 2
Silkeborg - AGF   1 - 0
AGF - OB   3 - 2
AB - AGF   2 - 2
K?ge - AGF   2 - 0
AGF - Br?ndby   2 - 2
FC Midtjylland - AGF   1 - 2
FC K?benhavn - AGF   2 - 0
AGF - Viborg FF   1 - 3
AaB - AGF   1 - 2
AGF - K?ge   1 - 3
Silkeborg - AGF   2 - 1
AGF - Br?ndby   2 - 1
OB - AGF   2 - 2
AGF - Viborg FF   2 - 4
AB - AGF   3 - 1
AGF - AaB   1 - 0
Farum - AGF   postponed
AGF - FC K?benhavn   2 - 2
Esbjerg - AGF   4 - 1
AGF - FC Midtjylland   3 - 2

So we're 9th of 12 with 26 points in 22 games... FC K?benhavn is in the lead in front of Br?ndby (the two Copenhagen clubs)

20 years ago ETO was one of the best teams in Europe. They won the hungarian championship in 1982 and 1983, and they beat some very good teams in European Champions Cup (like MU or Juventus). What's more: in the '60s ETO was in the semi-final, but unfortunately Benfica (they won the cup) stopped us...  :(

This weekend: Kazincbarcikai SC - FC Szeged 0-1, we moved to 5th place. We miss our forwards...
But the volleyball team became Hungarian champions, I hope read it on our website.
Jacky have you heard that Bal?zs Rab?czki, Hungarian goalkeeper is the goalie of FC Copenhagen?
?jpest-Aarhus 0-0, Aarhus-?jpest 3-2, it was an unlucky defeat for ?jpest, which team played better. But: i hate ?jpest.
Title: Football Fanats 2003 (Refreshing Everytime)
Post by: BonzaiJoe on April 29, 2003, 06:03:30 PM
It was 1-1, which would mean that Ujpest would go to the next round... I was watching it with AGF goalkeeper Lars Windfeld (he was scored a goal on a goal kick in a league match) who had been shown the red card in the previous match - so we were missing our goalkeeper. Then suddenly AGF scored 2 goals in 2 minutes :D
The funny thing is that in the games with Ujpest and Nantes which we won, we were under very much pressure and only just managed to hang on to the victory, but in the match against Twente, which we lost, we had loads of chances and shots on the posts and the bar... now we're under the relegation line... hmm... but then again, we've been there at least once for the last 5 or 6 years...

The new trainer made ETO to be a sucker (last 13 match statistics instead of the 17 matches of the former trainer):

Gy?ri ETO FC  17 W 8 D 3 L 6  28-23 27pts (53%)
Gy?ri ETO FC  13 W 1 D 6 L 6  12-23  9 pts (23%)

Last eight round without winning...

There is nothing to say but:

BOCA JUNIORS is now the intercontinental cup champion (3rd time!). This time the fallen team is AC Milan.

I heared the Milan is valued in 450 millions of euros and Boca only 70 or 75. In papers this match should finish Milan 5 - Boca 0 but in the stadium it is different.

I'm proud and happy to see an argenitinan team in the top of the planet for 3rd time, it is not cassual. It is incredible but this year they won everything: local championship, Copa Am?rica and Intercontinental Cup!!
I only have to add this is the second best team of Argentina ;)

The team:

Just to inform you alan; The intercontinantal cup does not really has a high value in europe as it's only 1 game.If you ask a team if it would rather win the national championship/ or some europe cup or the intercontinental cup it would always say ' national/europe'

This may sound weird but here is another example which you might not know.In europe the best teams of the leagues play in the champions league and the teams placed a bit lower play in the uefa cup...... And like there is the intercontinental cup (champions league winner last year against south american champ) there is a 'supercup' uefa cup winner against champions league winner. And as I recall the uefa cup winners are leading like 9:1 !!!

Which basically says the so called weaker cup dominated the winner vs winner cup!

Why? Hard to say, maybe a single game depends to much on luck OR the so called weaker clubs are spending a lot more effort to win the supercup or intercontinantal cup than the 'fed and full' champions league winner....

Sure they wanted to win,the champions league (stronger cup) winner wants to win against the uefa cup (weaker cup) winner as well, but yet the uefa cup winner (weaker cup) keeps winning the duel.

There is a difference between really wanting to win and 'ok let's try to win it'.And Boca did not even play well and was the cleary worse team over 90% of the match.

Imagine we would say the winner of IMSA cup has to duel the winner of zakstunts! on only 1 track!

I think we all agree zakstunts is the much stronger competition but then again I bet the imsa cup winner would put a lot more effort into winning that duel than the zakstunts winner ;)
