Ha! Finally found the market gap I was looking for!
I'll be producing power led driven bike headlamps. First home-made ones (i have my prototype running with great success), and then if the demand is really high... well who knows, maybe I'll be able to start mass production and get rich ;)
From our bike club (50 people) I received 8 orders in 24 hours. Ok, they get a 30% discount but its still a nice income for me. The first batch will consist of 20 lamps.
doesn't it look cool? :)

Business? Dark Chaser is away for 14 days on business trip! That's my association when I read this word on this board! :)

No, not 14 days. He said 2 weeks. So, if he comes back for the week-end, it's only 12 days (one week-end included only). That's always the same with DC, we never really know how much time he is away for business. :D ;D
yes but lately he is really way away :)

Nice idea - didn't you contact a producer of biker helmets yet?
By the way, I've got that lamp, which is very easy to handle and wear:

petzl lamps are cool but their candlepower is very low compared to mine.
if the demand really gets high I'll contact a lamp producer in China and assemble it there if possible.

Uh oh - don't let them simply steal your idea... :o :-[ >:(
But why won't you produce in Hungary? (And sell in Western Europe and USA then?)
well it's still a question of future.
You can get similar lamps - but the cheapest one costs about 150EUR
The concept was to sell it a lot cheaper, even if it doesnt look that cool, it's worth it, as for example in Hungary, just a few can afford to buy a lamp for 150EUR. My hand-built version will have a price of 40EUR. (materials for one lamp cost 12EUR for me, but producing involves quite a lot of work, around 2 hours/lamp)
We'll see how fast it'll sell, and then probably another hand-built batch will follow, and from the money earned from the first two batches I'll be able to organize this thing better, I hope.
Lamps? Ask General Electric! ;D

I thought of the same when I saw the title of this topic. :)

Maybe you should optimze the concept: for example you could insert the LEDs into the front of the helmet and keep the batteries in the back part. You could also use an accumulator loading system for the lamp using the spinning wheels. :)
