Long time since I started a new topic :o
I wondered if anybody of you does like photography? Since I got my amateur Olympus 3.2 mpix in 2004, I made over 7000 pictures, so few days ago I got the idea of making my photo album that includes 3 themes/topics: Landscape-Architecture-Nature.
I was inspired by an international photo exposition that took place in Zagreb, it's topics were Science-technology, landscape, people and animals. It was an amazing picture show. So, influenced by them I started to select my best amateur photos. So when I'm done, I'll putt some pictures here.
It would be nice if you also have such interests and photos to put here in this topic, no matter what topic they show. Just anything to talk about the photography ;D

I always forgot to watch the total lunar eclipse, though I'm always aware of it. This time I stayed awake till 4:45 a.m. to watch it. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring out our (old and not so good) telescope, so I could only rely on my eyes. The air was very misty, almost foggy, but the stars and the moon were visible. I could not see it as beautifully as it can be seen on Chulk's pictures. BÖFF!!!
And as I promised earlier (I forget that, but after re-reading topic, I must show you these):

Disgusting, but you also viewed them (according to viewing numbers, none of them are mine)... Paradox... Shitting is art, especially in circumstances like mine were, and some of the pics are related to Stunts, because they were taken on World Stunts Meetings. The question is: if you find it disgusting, why did you view them? ??? ;D

In these days of ratemypoo.com, goatse.cx, 2girls1finger etc., can we still be outraged by some pictures of shit? My answer is no. However, it also looks like relatively ordinary shit, so I've got no particular comments on it.

:) Yes, the shit is ordinary (that means our eyes analyze shit the same way, and shit is not too different in Hungary than in Denmark). What is not ordinary, none of them were taken in hygienic circumstances, at home, on the boring and ordinary English-type closet.

Now he is the first who cries when I put there a picture about my famous shits. CTG also crying that it is disgusting, after he was the topic starter of the disgusting things topic. I don't understand something, and I feel that people, especially Zak, is negatively discriminating me, like he did that in earlier years, when I was racing. Everything was different when CTG uploaded there a shitty picture. Let's see what happens if I put there a picture where there's shit only visible on ass. And let it be a girl instead of cows.
By the way I don't think that I've hurted any of the forum rules, I didn't hurt any of the political, ethnic etc. group. If you are not interested in my shit, just don't watch it. Thanks again :) These pics were actually made by my digital 2004 Olympus 3.2 megapix, as we call it "idiot camera". Supetar is a small island in the adriatic see near Dubrovnik, I took the pic in summer 2005. A friend was doing some free style moves on the rock (must have been drunk :)

I like Atrij style and Bundek atmosphere.
My favorite is Lika because it's weird : there seems to be a with cross in the sky made with clouds while bloody orange ground makes it kind of extra-terrestrial.

SORRY GUYS [- Akoss]! I'll stop here, but I just wanted to let it be really clear who is wrong and who is right...
The Atrium is the inside space from block building in Wienna (nice acoustic there:) Bundek is a park in Zagreb and "Lika" is a pre-coastal mountain part of Croatia. I'll destroy the weirdness of that photo if I tell you about the the truth of the cross. So I won't. ;D I have some more weird pics, one was even to weird to put it here.
My favourites are Supetar and Savudrija. Sunsets and B&W pics always look good but these are simply GREAT!
My first trip to China is very very near (4th of April). As I don't really want to carry my Powershot S1 all the way, I decided to invest in an ultra-portable digicam. eBay was my friend again, and a nicely refurbished Canon SD800 / IXUS 850 is already on the way. Hopefully the customs will be very friendly and my first pictures from China will be presented to you with this camera...

Now I have an ultra portable camera so I'm thinking about buying a new photo camera but now something more expensive, with a great optical zoom, many mpixels, long exposition options etc.. I'd like to make some great unusual pictures about the city I live in. Zak, wanna change cameras? ;)

Where are you going "the opposite way"? :)
The change is a nice idea, but when I have time and am able to carry my bigger camera with me, I'll still use the S1, sorry :)
But I can recommend it to you, it's a trusty and good machine. If you don'T want to go DSLR (which sucks all your money sooner or later :)), then Canon S series is a cool choice.
I heard from many sources that Canon is overall the best photo camera.
