I dont' know whether anyone was already working on something similar, but over the last weeks I have been completing and organizing the archive of tracks and winning replays on my Stunts folder with the races from Aug '05 on. Aside from a few significant omissions, which I'll confirm later on, I could find nearly everything on the net. Thus, if Zak or somebody else is interested - e.g. for the projects being discussing lately - just ask... ;)
Edit - topic title modified in 2012/01/19; original was Competition Archive II: The Later Years
Edit 2 - topic title modified in 2021/02/19; original was Replay hunting & Competition Archive updates. Also merged the Competition Archive 2019 topic into this one.
Here is the list of what is currently missing (that is, what I couldn't retrieve from the sites):
ZakStunts: Winning replays from ZCT69 (Renato Biker) and ZCT78 (CTG). The lap from ZCT35 (Argammon) seems to be an undocument omission from the old archive.
UnskilledStunts: Winning replay from Krakow (Usrin). A track map with indications for Goi?nia would be nice to have as well.
USL: (complete)
Kalpen: All winning replays but CTRACK2007A - all tracks are available, though.
WRC: Winning replays from last two rallies.
FSC '06: Both winning replays by Bonzai Joe.
SDR-RH: Complete.
SDR-NoRH: Winning replay for Timer (Chulk).
ISM: (complete)
WSC: (complete)
Stunts Brasil: Missng the last track, Beverly Hills, before competition got aborted - the site still exists but the link seems broken.
http://stunts.mine.nu/unskilled/usl - downloads section, all USL tracks and replays
Krakow: ask Akoss as he was the temporary host of that race in USC.
Goiania: I've lost that picture with the driving lines, sorry... :(

@CTG and Paleke: Sorry, it seems I was a bit confusing there... the (complete) tags indicate I got to retrieve everything... thanks anyway (and to BJ in advance as well) ;)

Argy's Z35 replay and Stunts Brasil's Beverly Hills track (which was badly written "Bervellyhills") attached.
I'll search for WRC replays later.
Winning replays for Argentinian and English WRC Stunts rallies attached.
Thanks guys, files downloaded and organized. Proceeding to watch the old Kalpen laps...
(Now only missing Z69, Z78, Krakow, CTRACK06A, CTRACK06D, CTRACK07B and Timer-NoRH)
Z78 attached. Z69 lost in a HD crash, may Renato has it.
Some others must have it too - or wasn't it packed with ZCT70?
no, among many other replays it was not published as it was lost while the track was still running :(
Strange, I thought I recalled watching it. It was a Lancia track with lots of dirt road, right?

It's a Renato Biker replay...
Krak?w winner replay, 1:24.05 by Usrin.
Thanks Akoss! :) Not much missing now...
I've found some more Kalpen ones... Remember that Renato Biker's only works with the CCAR 0.9 installed.

Actually Renato's (and Mark's) lap uses the normal Indy. The replays from you and Mislav were done with CC0.85 - this was the first time ever I got to install it... anyway, aside from the to-be-released C2007B, Kalpen is complete now 8).
PS.: Great laps indeed... with stuff like BJ rounding an elevated corner on 5th gear! :o
Did you search these ones...? ;)
Precisely, thanks Mark! You all are pretty efficient guys, three days and just one lap remaining :).
Recaping, which one?
Z69, won by Renato Biker and made unavailable to Zak due to computer problems.
Duplode, can you upload your archieve?
I don't have most replays. Not even all of my own one's :-[.
Sure, that was my original intention :) I only won't do it right now on the forum for two reasons:
1. The bare zip with tracks, replays and .txt listings is ~300KB (with relevant track maps and the .xls listing it goes to almost 1MB).
2. As it is a direct follow up of Zak/Krys original work, I prefer asking Zak first if he prefers to see it uploaded to the site beforehand.
sure, send it to me in mail, and i will update the archives on the site
thans!
...my Kalpen winning replay still wanted and downloaded :)
Question - did anybody win a competition track anywhere with Indy CC 0.85 besides BJ and me? Maybe some "old school" pipsqueaks? CTG, statistic answer please :)
Archive sent (gmail) to Zak... :)
And BTW, I contacted Renato! He is currently away (travel), but may as well return here, though probably not racing actively, by March 8) Also, he most likely has that Z69 replay...

There was victories at Stunts GP (managed by Lukas Loehrer, creator of contest car, from august 1997 to may 1998) :
- Mark Nailwood, november 1997
- Ruthless, december 1997
- Loza, january 1998
- Streethawk, february 1998
- Mark Nailwood, march 1998
- Mark Nailwood, april 1998
- Pavement Dream, may 1998
Tracks from august 1997 to october 1997 were won by pipsqueaks using Mindscape's 1.1 version.
Contest car 0.9 was created only in august 1998, so I'm sure these victories were with 0.85 version of the contest car.
There may have been other victories in DeathMan contest (1998), but all data about it has been lost.
JTK can answer better than me regarding Kalpen contest.

Mislav: dunno. ;D (not very statistical but even I have lacks in administration :D)
Does anyone have TSST winning replays?
TSST winning replays, all by Ivanoeg.
Thanks! :) Maybe I should also collect them as a safety copy.
Well, finally I found some time, so packed the two archives together and uploaded it to ZakStunts!
I did not change Duplode's naming and have not touched his work - I figured out this is the way we preserve the most information and implemented work :) Melange, Speedgate and Duplode's car (I'll never remember the name :)) are included and ready to drive.
Access it from the downloads page, and enjoy 458 tracks from the past 10 years of online Stunts racing, including 27 competitions.
(later on, when I'll finally update the portal of course it'll be accessible from there too)

F*ck you Inavoeg and TSST managers! When Usrin and me found out that BB 1.0 4d Contest Car is far not the fastest option to race, the competition closed... In the next race, we would have kicked some ass (I guess we would have won that easily)... therefore, I had to wait for my first track victory 3 years.

Zak, now that you've got the administrator feeling back, and Zakstunts evolved into a whole new concept, maybe you could continue with "Online Stunts Competition History", don't you think? You stopped at the beggining of season 2006, maybe you can update it? I really like reading the articles...

Indeed, it will be most enjoyable reading :)
Just to let you know I have been updating the Volume II so that it'll be ready for an re-release covering 2008 and 2009 seasons... Zak: would you prefer receiving the new package around the New Year's Day (to go along with the new season update) or in early February (in order to include all ISM replays)?
Hey Dup, let me know if that's not what you're looking for...
That's the right one, thanks Chulk! I will use the opportunity to attach my replay on that race as well for you to see. We were rigorously drawn at the exit of the final bridge corner, with less than two seconds to go... reminds me of how good FTT used to be.
February is fine with me! Thanks for maintaining the archive!
WMCS3 is the last race I plan to include the replays of before wrapping up the new edition of the Archive. With these published, I should be able to set up everything within a week or so. The only real task remaining is to catalogue the HOTU Stunts replays Jim9137 posted here a while ago (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=2361.msg41925#msg41925 (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=2361.msg41925#msg41925)). There will be very few omissions this time; just the first two replays of JACStunts (which vanished forever amidst the chaos following the interruption of Season 2) and Sudoku (the final WSC race thus far, which would probably be won by Ayrton but never had official results published), as well as some old ones like Z69.
Just got WMCS3 replays from Roy; update will proceed soon...
Update finished, going to mail Zak now... :)

Is it possible to upload the replays here? I have replays from WMCS1, WMCS2, WMCS3, WMCS6 and WMCS7 and then I have all tracks 1-11 if anyone need those.
I only remember my own results because I write them down. I was 3rd on WMCS6, 2nd on WMCS7, 3rd on WMCS8 and 2nd on WMCS10. I did not race WMCS9 and WMCS11.

Yes; click "Attachments and other options" below the reply box and you'll be able to attach them - up to 4 files per post, or just pack it all in a zip. Also, no need to worry about the tracks; they are still available from the competition site.

I have attached the three replays of WMCS6 and WMCS7 in a zip-file.

Just realized that, in addition to those WMCS replays, I don't have even the La Plata track from Alan's 4DSL revival... :-\
I expect to wrap up a fourth edition of The Archive by the middle of the month; only the final (8-11) WMCS laps and the sole 4DSL'11 track are pending now. One adjustment that will in all likelihood happen is breaking down the ZakStunts folder in two directories - we are close to the 255 files limit already (!), and furthermore with all files staring by either Z or a number browsing the lists is getting rather inconvenient. I guess splitting at the end of 2006 (Z70) should be enough.
great news and thanks for the efforts!
I would prefer to Split ZakStunts at the end of the 2007 season. I consider 2008 as the rebirth of ZakStunts after the crisis in 2007.
Fair enough. Breaking it at Z79 will also make the explanatory notes on the info file less confusing :)
Competition Archive 2011: coming soon to a ZakStunts near you!
The fourth edition of The Archive was just packaged and sent to Zak, and here's why you should get hold of it as soon as it gets uploaded :). As well as covering the races from '10 and '11 (including, thanks to Gutix and Brian, replays for all of the final WMCS races) and fixing minor mistakes from the previous release, this update adds a handful of interesting, newly/recently recovered historical replays. It contains winning laps for half of 03/04 4DSL (both categories), London, ACT12, ZCT69 and ZCT14 (!). The latter two mean that, for the first time in many years, there are no missing ZakStunts winning replays any more. 8)
I'm going to get it, and then I'm going to sit down and watch every Zakstunts winning replay in chronological order.
now available on ZakStunts.
Many thanks Duplode for the awesome work again!

I have just sent it. Once it goes live, you will find the following additions:
- The expected ZakStunts (2012-now) and UnskilledStunts (2013) tracks and replays. USC also got the distinction of being the second competition to have its archive split in two directories.
- The LeStunts revival races. I did not to include Silverstone, even though it would be amusing to write "in the future" or "0x-201x" in the spreadsheet entry :P :D
- Replays for Dinky and Monkey, which complete the archive of the first 4DSL season. Thanks Alan!
- Last but not least, all ten tracks and winning replays from Luke Loehrer's contest. Since many of those replays use the Competition Car 0.85, I also included the car in the EXTRAS/LUKE directory, with the files renamed so that they do not overwrite the vanilla Indy. The replay files were adjusted accordingly.
MANY thanks! Will upload soon.

I might have the one for ACT11 somewhere. If I'm not mistaken, I won that won with Ferrari PG.

Now this one had really fallen through the cracks -- thanks for pointing it out!
Here they are. The Kalpen one is very special for me because CTRACK31 was one of the first competition tracks I raced on in 2001. At that time, I perceived CAP, Mark Nailwood and Fdzierva as Stunts gods, and CAP's winning time of 47.70 was something unattainable. By 2003 I was beginning to think we were better than those old gods but I wasn't sure until I won Kalpen A and beat CAP by such a margin. It was then that I knew that we were the gods now.
The ACT one is fun because my average speed is so low until the power gear part. I was proud of this one because I was the only one who did PG so I won by 11 seconds or something.
Thanks! I have just sent an updated archive with yours and Akoss' replays to Zak. Those are some mighty fine tracks by the way.

After months of procrastination and computer woes, I can finally announce that there will be a 2018 update to the Competition Archive. The plans are for it to be ready before the new year. Here are the competitions the update should cover (please do tell me if I forgot anything!):
- ZakStunts (2016-2018)
- ZakStunts GAR (2016-2018)
- ZakStunts NoRH (2016)
- R4I (2016)
- R4K (2016-2018)
- LeStunts (2017; Dorsal and Second)
- Superkart Special Event (2010)
I think almost all of those either are somewhere in my computer already, or are otherwise easy to retrieve. In any case, I will ask you folks if anything turns out to be missing.
On an additional note, another thing I would like to do is setting up some architecture for the Archive more resilient than a bunch of folders, textfiles and spreadsheets loosely correlated with each other. I'm not sure I will have time to play with that before the release, though.

Uhm, these can be filtered out from the result through the database, but I could also make the replay tags visible in the full list of results for a track. Would that help?

It would help; also it is, for unrelated reasons, a feature I have been wanting for a long time :) The way I once imagined it was having little (G) and (N) indicators in the replay entries, like the (A) ones for automatic transmission laps; in any case, I'll be happy with however form of display you decide on.

While I didn't really feel such things when I was making an effort to update my working version of the archive at the end of every race, the prospect of updating it after not having touched it in years makes the procedures seem a bit fragile -- prone to mistakes, and perhaps with sub-optimal results for users. More specifically, I would like to have a single point of truth for race information: it might be, for instance, a SQLite database from which the text file race lists and the spreadsheet could be generated, and which could also be used to perform consistency checks on the .TRK and .RPL files (if not storing the files themselves there, though there are some subtleties that would have to be dealt with for that to work well). In terms of amount of work to do, the main complication is that such a plan would entail not only designing the database schema and writing the program, but also getting the ~900 race entries into the database -- a process that in all likelihood can't be fully automated.
Sorry for the months of procrastination... but I have news! I have finally started to make some real progress with the update: the R4K replays, which I consider the most critical element, are more or less in place now. ZakStunts GAR laps and other replays should follow shortly.
I'd like to hear your opinions on the release date. Given that it is already July, and that I will, at a minimum, wait for the July races to finish before the release, I wonder if I should wait for the 2019 season to end or just release it as soon as it is ready.
That's great... the new archive! And yes, it'd be nice to have it as soon as possible, but that would mean extra work if you have to rework it at the end of the season. I figure that we could wait till the end. If something comes up before, we could hurry it up. With the replays and tracks already collected, everything is safe anyway.

After reading this, I'm now wondering: why not both? :) I can arrange a preview release in August, and then prepare a further update for early January, to bring the release schedule back on track.
At long last, I am glad to announce the Competition Archive is updated! You can already grab it from the ZakStunts downloads page (http://zak.stunts.hu/index.php?page=download). The added races were:
- ZakStunts (2016-), including GAR and NoRH replays (in ZSC3\GAR and ZSC3\NORH);
- Race For Kicks (2016-), including NoRH replays (in R4K\NORH);
- Race For Immortality (2016);
- Superkart Special Event (2010);
- Le Stunts live races (2017 and 2019); and
- The high-voltage.cz (https://high-voltage.cz) races I mentioned the other day (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=2481.msg73882#msg73882), including one of the winning replays (thanks to Sledge, the admin).
Furthermore, the Archive now includes
all of the twenty custom cars used in the included replays, so look no further next time you need to get hold of the Skoda :)
This release is labelled "preview" because I will prepare an end-of-season update for January. Besides the remaining 2019 ZakStunts and R4K races, that update will hopefully include the other High-Voltage winning replay (if the race winner still has it) and some of the old ZakStunts NoRH replays (http://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=3515.msg73993#msg73993) (if any of you still have them ;)).
I am happy to announce the 2020 update to the Competition Archive is now available at ZakStunts! Here is a direct link (http://zak.stunts.hu/dl/competition-archive-2020.zip) to it. Featuring:
- DOSReloaded.de: 22 tracks and a few of the winning replays (plus some YouTube links in the !INFO file) from the 2019 and 2020 seasons of the competition held at dosreloaded.de (https://dosreloaded.de), a lovely German-language retrocomputing forum. Thanks to oerk, the competition manager, and the community over there!
- ZakStunts: late 2019 to now, free rules and GAR.
- Race For Kicks late 2019 to now, RH and NoRH.
- high-voltage.cz: Two more races held in 2020 at Sledge's site (https://www.high-voltage.cz/).
- Le Stunts: the five 2020 live races.
- WSC: corrections to competition information (thanks Cas), and the TATETI.TRK file from season 2008 (which I apparently skipped way back in 2010).
Besides these additions, you will find the full historical collection, which spans all the way back to 1997 and now includes 881 tracks, 901 replays and 21 custom cars.
Great! I think we could mirror this archive in R4K :)
Do DOSReloaded.de and high-voltage.cz know about us? I mean, they clearly do, but all of the things we do here, like different rules for tournaments, making new cars and tools, etc.

Sounds good! I plan to keep updating it every two years or so, so there should be little release churn for you to handle.

They do! For instance, there was a high-voltage.cz post about Zapper's K.I.T.T (https://www.high-voltage.cz/sortky/michael-knight-cerny-stin-letici-do-nebezpecneho-sveta-lidi-ve-stunts/) soon after its release. Also, the DOSReloaded.de competition used several custom cars in its second season, and the track screenshots in their competition threads were sometimes done with Bliss :)
There it is! I made a mirror in R4K. I think I'll be adding a few more things there like about the engine project and an a place to browse the different custom cars.
I believe we should try to link to these guys and have them link to us as well. No point in being separate. Amazing that they use our stuff! :)

Great work! There is a lot of history there.
I'm happy to announce the Volume IX update of the Competition Archive is now available! Here is a direct link (https://zak.stunts.hu/dl/competition-archive-2022.zip) to it. The update includes:
- CCC: All races so far, starting from the very first test event in May 2022.
- DOSReloaded.de: All tracks, and some replays, from 2022 and early 2023.
- high-voltage.cz: The 2022 Christmas race.
- Le Stunts: The six races so far from 2022 and 2023.
- Race For Kicks: Updated to the current race.
- UnskilledStunts League: The 2021 edition.
- ZakStunts: Updated to the current race, and also:
- Amateur League winning replays, from both 2003 and the present incarnation, starting from ZCT243.
- Bonzai Joe's winning replay from the ZCT079 (Default) NoRH scoreboard. (If you have any other NoRH scoreboard replays from 2005 or 2006, please let me know!)
- The final GAR winning replays from the 2021 season.
With these additions, the Archive now includes 967 tracks, 1038 replays, and 33 custom cars.
Thanks! It's getting really big. It's great to know we have all our history backed up. For R4K particularly, do you find it comfortable to grab the replays for the archive? Is there anything that would make it easier and less time consuming for the next time?

Thanks for asking :) The R4K site is fine for that. Making all final replays available for download from the scoreboard pages, and clearly labeling their modalities (RH or NoRH) is pretty helpful already.
Errata: the file I uploaded in the morning was missing the current DOSReloaded track. A corrected zip is already available from the site.
I'm glad to announce the Volume X update of the Competition Archive is now available! Here is a direct link (https://zak.stunts.hu/dl/competition-archive-2024.zip) to it. The update includes:
- CCC: The 2023 and 2024 races.
- DOSReloaded.de: Updated to the current race.
- ISA: CAP's winning lap from Adelaide.
- Kalpen: CAP's winning lap from CTRACK33. This is the first replay from early Kalpen to be added to the Archive!
- Le Stunts: Thirteen races from 2023 and 2024.
- Additionally, the six tracks from last June's Stunts Online live racing event.
- NTT: The 2023 races.
- Stunts POP: The Dani track from September 2003, and its winning replay by Alan Rotoi. Though Stunts POP has been listed in the Archive main spreadsheet since the first edition, no tracks or replays from it had been found until now.
- Race For Kicks: Updated to the current race, as usual including both main scoreboard and NoRH laps.
- USL: The Minsk track from USL 2010, which had been left out by accident.
- WSC: The unused guest tracks from seasons 2006 and 2007.
- ZakStunts: Updated to the current race, including main scoreboard, Am League and GAR (!) replays.
Also new to the main spreadsheet, though with no tracks or replays recovered so far, is a competition ran via mailing list by SergioBaro in 2005, whose existence hadn't been reported at all until now!
With these additions, the Archive now covers 1314 known races, and includes 1085 tracks, 1165 replays, and 53 custom cars.
Thanks a lot to
@alanrotoi for unearthing long-lost replays, and to Victor Narl for pointing out omissions. I'm always happy to get files, information and corrections for the Archive, so if you discover anything, do let me know! :)
This is an incredible amount of work, categorising, separating and renaming many of the files to put them together. Thanks so much for keeping this sone!
We have raced a lot through these years. 1314 races looks totally unreal to me!

Thank you!! What a great work! I'll keep searching the old email addresses, maybe there are more treasures to be found ::)
1314 races is about 3,8 races per month since August 1997. :o
@Cas BTW, when you get the chance, you might want to update the R4K mirror of the Archive as well :)
Ah!, it's true! I'll do that! 8)
