Which nations do you support in skiing competitions?

Sweden, Switzerland, Italy and Norway. Though Italy is not my favourite in ice hockey since their squad is full of naturalized players, some of them lack even a distant Italian relative... but I like them in all other sports. Some other favourites are Tina Maze (Slovenia, alpine skiing), Gabriela Soukalová (Czech Rep., biathlon) and Julia Mancuso (USA, alpine skiing), and I also like the playing style of the Russian ice hockey team. The Hungarian team's best hopes are the short course skaters, they have a slight hope for even a medal. We have only one good skier, Edit Miklós, who reached 12th place on a World Cup downhill one or two months ago.

If it is not influenced by the weather, it can't be by accident to be 12th. There are many good skiers who was beaten by her. It was rather the result of the track was suitable to hide the results of the bad preparation conditions of her (much less money and training possibilities, less trainers, less grant money etc.) and highlight her talent.

She was in the top30 (world cup point score limit) about 5-10 times I guess, in combination and downhill. She's only 25.

She was also a junior world championship 5th place skier.

Hungarian handball team just managed to get through the death group of the ECH played in Denmark... Norway-Hungary 26-26 (13-16)... thriller game...

1 Spain 6 pts
2 Iceland 3 pts
3 Hungary 2 pts
4 Norway 1 pts

Now in the main round we can face easier opponents like FYRO Macedonia and Austria (besides Denmark). I think even Norway are stronger than them, so we may finish in the top8, which was the plan of the Hungarian Handball Association.

(Maybe the last chance to get a good result before our team gets old and there's no such talented generation behind our current players...)

2, What's more, it's legal to have sex with a 14 years old Helen with her agreement - as long as I don't make a photo or video about that (in Hungary).

Since I consider this kind of photos as "barely erotic" (I mean sexy, not illegal, but still...), it's better not to publish. :D

Boxing: Zsolt Erdei, former light heavyweight world champion of WBO and cruiserweight world champion of WBC (+amateur world champion) retired yesterday. "Unfortunately" he was rather a technically perfect fighter with superb hand speed, not a knockout machine (=boring, but very effective) - and a modest sportsman without scandals. That gave no chance for him to fight against real big names, like Roy Jones Jr. or Bernard Hopkins.

The Pens don't have to start the playoff against the Red Wings or the Flyers, so the positioning was done well.

Penguins - Blue Jackets in the first round of the playoff. While Flyers have to start against the Rangers.

Don't worry, we are talking about it also in PM. But... I don't agree with you:

1, Most of the Forum topics are based on smaller personal discussions, even longer conversations/arguements between two members are quite often (not talking about even more "specific" topics with long monologues without answers).
2, "Sports 2014" is a review topic, we can talk about any sports here (except football) - so, NHL is not off-topic at all. Just compare to football topic: how many people are discussing Danish football? Two. Probably nobody else is really interested in it, but still, it's worth to mention.
3, If somebody is not interested in something, he should just ignore it. You complain about hot chicks, NHL, maybe "Favorite cars", "Estimation game" or "Funny mini movies" will be you next target. If you don't care about things, you should better keep yourself away from them instead of crying.
4, There might be other (future) members of the Forum, being interested in ice hockey. Maybe our "rivalism" with Akoss Poo will convince some of you to cheer for the MIGHTY FLYERS or fat flightless birds from Pittsburgh.
5, Akoss Poo is right: BÖFF!

I'm vaguely interested in what happens in Hungarian football because I understand football and everything that's involved in it. So does Chulk, Rotoi, Duplode and many more. Danish football is about the same.

Of course you can talk about whatever you want, this is just a suggestion. My main idea here is that for something to be worth posting on a forum, it should be POTENTIALLY interesting to more than one other forum member. NHL is an alien world for me and, as far as I know, everybody else on the forum. It means nothing whatsoever, and you never bring any perspectives into it that could possibly be of relevance to anyone except yourself and Akoss.

I've certainly experienced more annoying things in life, but it's mildly annoying because when there are new posts on this forum, I expect them to be at least a little bit interesting because they usually are. Even your pointless revivals of old threads have some quality. So it's a small disappointment to see the same repeated NHL post (Flyers won or Penguins won blablabla) over and over again.

My post in the "Hot Chicks" thread was a debate post about why/why not the topic is interesting. It was a very interesting debate. I'm not asking anyone to stop posting about hot chicks. It shouldn't be so difficult to understand the difference.

But fortunately Sweden went through after a hard-fought victory over the host nation.

Biking experts, what do you think about this one? Is it a normal behaviour from a bike without hidden engine? :D

It's hard to comment without seeing the previous trajectory of the bike. If it was moving fast and hit something to make it turn, it could be perfectly natural. The clip has been edit to look as incriminating as possible.

Okay, I've looked at the full clip and it looks very, very strange. There's definitely something weird going on. I don't understand why it's not being investigated.

But the experts on YouTube argue that it's not fishy, so I believe that.

The two situations are not the same.  However, since I don't really care of cycling, because it's the most dope infected shit sport on Earth... well... I'm rather interested in the physical part.

Result: Viborg - Györi Audi ETO KC 25-30

They got old, GM did nothing to bring young players with potential and instead tried to patch the team here and there year after year, no long time planning at all. It will take a few years to start from the bottom and return to former glory

I'm sad because "top executive" is not the same expression in english to a "executive with big height". In portuguese the joke is valid: "alto executivo" and "executivo alto"
