Title: ZCT287 - A Walk in the Park
Post by: Duplode on June 15, 2025, 10:05:44 PM
Very good racing around the park, beginning with the Oxia in the first week, and now with the Indy!

It was a nice track. I felt I was able to actually learn some skills with it :)

These are the final Indy laps from @MiDiaN and me on ZCT287. Play it on full screen, and make your bets!

That's a good way to show the differences between the paths. Very interesting!
The software itself is really nice. I tried and tested it today, actually :)

Great to see such similar times from two different routes!

Although it's giving me flashbacks from the 3 weeks I spent trying to jump that island... ;D

Interesting and subtle dual-switch from MiDiaN at the end. That explains why he didn't got penalty time.

Thanks! I should try and work towards version 1.2 one of these days -- there are at least a few features yet to add!

I believe the lap makes use of the split exception (https://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?topic=3719.0), which makes it possible to skip three elements at that specific place. I actually overlooked that during the race, which is why I went for a narrower cut, catching the first tile of the cork.
