Title: Parental leave
Post by: dreadnaut on March 31, 2026, 12:21:58 AM
Hello stuntsficionados!

I'm about to start a side project that requires taking care of a tiny new human, and likely to consume all available time. Even getting ready has kept me away from racing (and from the PTB code) since the start of the year. I get a good amount of time off work, but I'll need to unplug from ZakStunts duties for a few months as well.

We can trust Duplode to run the show flawlessly, but it would be great to have a couple of backup folks ready to share the load. It's also healthy in the long run, bus-factor and all that.

So line up in this thread, there's plenty to do: from replay reviews to race summary posts, to general prodding so that cool new stuff happens.

That said, I'll do my best to keep my 160+ (https://forum.stunts.hu/index.php?msg=99243) race streak going, even with the weakest listfillers, and I'll make time for technical emergencies! Email will be the best way to reach me, @gmail.com 📬

Dreadnaut, that's great news, congratulations! Wish you all the best in this great adventure!

I'd prefer not to commit to anything defined this year and I hope more expert zakstunters will take care of your many duties, but if there is urgent need of more hands, let me know and I can see what I can contribute.

Congratulations @dreadnaut, there will be challenging moments, but also joyful ones. I wish you and your whole family all the best. I'm not focusing much of my time on improving my replays, but I'll always be around if you need any help.

Congratulations, @dreadnaut - I wish you and your family good health and a wonderful time! Right now, I don't have enough energy to take on any regular responsibilities.

One of the simple duties would be pressing the "race is done" button to release the quiet replays, update any XP or PTB points, etc. Worth coordinating with Duplode?

Hey folks! Our little boy was born last week, and all is well. Life is of course much busier these weeks, but I'll be around now and then!
