...known as Osijek (Croatia) nowadays.
Track of December will be short and really fast - Porsche March Indy is the guarantee! ;)
Details: later.
So we will have two Indy races in December...

Q-Track Preview
Less than three weeks to the Qualify session for ISM 2009! Let's go to discover what drivers who will take part are going to meet! :)
Well, I think that a Qualify session in order to establish which drivers will be admitted to the Master has to be sure quite selective but not so hard, thinking also there will be only two weeks to reach the qualifying.
So I decided above all for an Indy race, the most popular car, in and out of Stunts community. But I designed a track where drivers will have to approach different tracts (PG, slides, clean drive) that demand a well-balanced skill.
Anyway, following the SDR's tradition, Q-Track will include unusual tracts, as important component in order to obtain an attractive and funny race. So expect a quite particular track... ;)
Finally, I think that Q-Track will be an engaging and funny stage in order to 1) define the participants of ISM 2009 and 2) savouring the taste of what drivers will find when the real contest will start. ;)
Great. We have very few Indy races these days...
Track is ready - not so hard powergear run, ~50 seconds long.
Damned American spy satellites again... :D ;)
My old HDD is connected to the computer, so why not publishing the next track? ;)
Track name: Eszék (Osijek)
Designer: CTG
Car: Porsche March Indy
Difficulty: 2/5
Predicted winning time: 48.00
Racing period: from 6th to 22nd December 2008
Quite a short racing period but... I'll go home on 23rd December and come back on 29th or 30th. Those days are really busy because of other deadlines - while Eszék track is not very long, quite easy, so 17 days racing will be more than enough for that. :)
After a session 10 minutes long, I'm not sure if predicted winning time will be overtake. What I'm almost sure is that it will be a femtosecond war....
Refreshing little track to remind us of what racing with Indy is like, as it's been a while... Curious how suddenly all active competitions (bar ZakStunts, naturally) will be staging Indy races for the next week.

I like the superlative :)
Easy and fast tracks are guarantee for tight and maybe a bit surprising scoreboards.
Several replays arrived, one of them from a lately inactive pipsqueak - you will see from who... ;)
Surely not the big A?!

The same thought slipped my mind as reading CTG's comment...
ALAIN? :D (of course you think on Rotoi and yes, he sent me a replay TODAY!) ;)
4 replays today, seems like a pretty cool race so far.
Update: in a few hours.
Even if there's a quite obliged path in order to reach the absolute best time, there are some tract I like very much on this track. Above all: 1) the start (simple but really engaging), 2) the cut just after the bridge around 30" and 3) the entrance on the final shuss.

1, believe or not, this is a key part - you can lose even 0.50 with an imperfect first corner
2, tricky part, not so easy to land on the required place
3, place of "femtoseconds" war
3 pipsqueaks under the 50 seconds border. I'm sure there will be more soon... ;)

Don't forget FTT0111. It's 3 Indy tracks for december. ;)
Is there need for a pure Indy competition? (ISA/IRC/WSC style)
It seems Sergio Baro's result will give a lot of time bonus points to the others, especially for the tight top... :)
Interesting: there are three tricks in this track which I will define as "almost possible". I have not been able to do any of them yet, but whoever does will win.

I see only two possible tricks. One at the loop, one at the cork up/down. Where is the third? :D
I'm not saying! (but anyway it's probably not possible and would only save about 0.10-0.20)
Super Brian's first manual gear replay in USC!!! Not the best so far but I guess he'll improve a lot.
I have a big problem. It seems (not sure, let's say 70 percent) that I'll lose internet connection on 20th December and will be back only on 2nd/3rd January. It also means that probably I can't do the update of the site before the new year. Shall I move the deadline to January or is it too late to modify it?

I think so.

I just asked a colleague about the open hours of the university right before X-mas. He said it's limited on next Monday and Tuesday (closing earlier), but it's possible to come in for the update. If he's right, I should come and do the update as I'll be here in Budapest still on 23rd.
HELLO!!! DEADLINE IS TODAY!!!
Where are Chulk and Krys? Where are the improvements from the top dogs? :-\
I didn't manage to go under the 50 seconds barrier, but as long I can stay ahead of dstien and Chulk doesn't drive, I can stay in Top 5 of USC..

Oh damn ! I thought deadline was dealyed and didn't race this week-end. Not sure I can race tonight either. :-\
I wasted a ridiculous amount of time perfecting a beautiful jump between the two loops in the beginning of the track. Should have checked the penalty time first... ::)

What a pity, that must have been
really nice to look at :)

No, it wasn't announced, I just said the possibility of it and few hours later I declared that I can do the update, so deadline is still 22nd December. I think you should give a 5 minutes try to the track, Sergio's lap seems to be beatable. ;)
Edit: I declare my 49.45 as a final time.
I would love to see dstien's replay :)
I also did a trick like that, but not a jump between the two loops! Only driving to the side from the first loop and jumping into the next one. Also got penalty time, of course.

I also tried with a large amount of time, succeding not to keep penalty, but losing PG, so... ::)
I just improved a bit, but not enough to win... :-\
Results in the morning.

I thuoght that too. I have a replay, just that I'm not home right now. It's a 50.75 lap, I'll see if I can find a way to get it sent any of my siblings...
Rush hour racing, 30 minutes, 2 replays sent. Alea jacta est.

I guess we can trust in Chulk so I accept his announced time as an official one. Send it please - although I won't be here in the next two weeks to check. Or publish here. :)
I already know the results (not so tight podium! :o), update soon... ;)
Congratulations to Duplode, glorious victory with a great trick!
Site updated with replays, WRL/stats/analysis only in January. New track (Heves) starts officially only in January but of course you can practice you Skoda skills as the track is available. ;)
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU!

Thanks CTG! Here is my replay, and of course congrats to Duplode!
Absolutely never seen, the Duplode's trick... :o :o :o Before the jump from the L/R corkscrew... and then the walk on the water.... Well... congratulations! :)
Thank you all! It's very nice to win again in free-RH here in USC, especially near exactly one year after Siófok... :)
But we should be talking about Brian and Dstien too: there were some really nice solutions in their replays, and with a faster corner exit at that left-hander after the tunnel (the sort of skill that easily comes with experience or, in Brian's case, manual gear practice) they would be fighting for the 5th place... congratulations for their improvement too! :)
