Title: ZCT132 - Gaotie
Post by: zaqrack on July 04, 2012, 02:32:35 PM
Probably the first ever track created while speeding at 310km/h on the ground (on a high speed train, yes :))

I think its a fun one. Enjoy!

You can't imagine how I envy you for that. :D

China can pamper you a lot if you enjoy fast and big things. Also it is far cheaper to experience these than anywhere else.

CRH gaotie 310km/h - 1318km in less than 5 hours for 20000HUF.
Maglev train to airport 430km/h - 30km in 7 minutes for 3000HUF
Bridges spanning over more than 30km - can be quite boring after a while :)
buildings higher than Janos hill.
etc...

its not the best place to live. But is enjoyable for a while :)

The slow part is annoying.

Beautifully constructed "tech" track, as we used to say in Trackmania.

The slow part is not that slow anyway. Only Rotoi is like a snail there. :P

Btw this is a lucky case: the key section is in the second half of the track. You all know how annoying is when you have a replay with a good finish but with a crappy start...

After finishing the current TTD scenario, I'll go back to the track.

You should go to Germany for ICE trains, also running at 300 km/h. With an Interrail ticket for Germany (about 120 EUR for 3 days) you can travel as much as you want.
