El Chavo del Ocho (Chaves in the Brazilian dub) is immensely popular here, as close to an unanimity as an unpretentious TV show can get - a beloved slice of childhood silliness for several generations. RIP Chespirito!

A Mexican comedian. since early 70's until 93 had a tv program with some eternal characters. As Dup said, " a beloved slice of childhood silliness for several generations". This tv program is still repeated (at least here) in more than one tv channel.

I loved this show.
