I just found this at ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=131902851196
A package of three games: Car & Driver, Test Drive II "The Duel" and - Mindscape's 4D SPORTS DRIVING!
:D
Wow! It looks really different from Stunts, but yes, it's one of the original distributions. It must include the manual from which the original DRM took the words. I would really like to see the original manual :)
Have you bought it Cas?
What's the version of 4D Sports Driving that has in the pack? Dec-13-1990, or Feb-25-1991?

I've found the manuals of both versions online recently.

Less than 4 days left, 1 euro bid.
I don't even have a floppy player anymore, I'm still probably going to bid on that if it doesn't go up.
Feel free to go for it yourself though (anyone).

4D Sports Driving v1.2 for Amiga
Why are PC versions rare?
I really don't know, but my guess is that, when Stunts came out, several platforms were more or less equally popular. In recent years, many people use DOSBox or have an old computer in which they can run Stunts for DOS, but few are familiar with other platform emulators or have those systems in comparison. So probably, the number of original boxes was more or less balanced back then between the platforms, yet now, they aren't.
Another possible explanation is that Stunts was significant among games that were released in the same year for DOS, but while it was available for other platforms, back then games were usually better for those platforms and then, Stunts was one among many. So it makes sense that people that remember Stunts in a DOS PC are more likely to want to have the original package today than the ones that met it in another platform, as it wasn't as memorable to them.
To do more than guessing, we would have to find out how many copies for each platform were actually sold back then.

52 Euros... It's reasonable for collection :) Does the 4D Sports Driving manual have exactly the same contents as Stunts'? I wonder

Yes, and no.
Stunts had a separate quick start leaflet with the controls.
4D sports has the information at the beginning of the manual.
And one more: 4D Sports Driving - Mindscape - OVP - PC 5,25 Disk - IBM MS-DOS: https://www.ebay.de/itm/233995430209
But: They want 199,99 € for that... 🤯
I see it's now at 120 euros. Anyway, it's a lot. But let's put it this way: I'm happy to see that there are many people still today that consider Stunts to be so valuable! :)

I don't have an Amiga, which is why I literally gave away a copy of 4D Sports Driving (https://youtu.be/dAvjRPn2Qww?t=410) a few years ago in the hope of seeing it covered by one of my favourite YouTube channels. Alas, this hasn't happened yet. By the way, Peter pronounces my surname incorrectly in the video, but I forgive him. :)

I didn't move the manuals to my new hardware I discovered (not lost, just unreachable at the moment) and I discovered that both this links are dead. The manuals are not in our wiki or any other stunts page as far as I can find and not uploaded on the forum...
I can't find it anywhere on the Internet anymore...
I found the manuals again. But they are now to big for the forum.
I'll try to reduce the size and make a new topic for them.
Great - I've been looking for the manual for a long time. It would be very nice if you could upload the full size somewhere. I can create a reduced Version with around 4 MB for the Forum for you.

Thanks for the manuals Daniel3D. The conversion is finished: https://www.transfernow.net/dl/20230218HZEznKgi
Consider uploading the manual to the Internet Archive, next to Stunts (https://archive.org/details/msdos_Stunts_1990) and the demo disc (https://archive.org/details/stunts_demo_disk).
